If you're looking most likely you're familiar with this bike. It is an 08 with around 12K on the clocks. It is currently not inspected but would pass. It is dirty and needs detailed by a loving home as it has been sleeping outside for couple months. Battery has been kept inside on a tender. I am the second owner and bought it with about 600 miles on it in 08 or 09. It does have a a small crack in the plastic lower I would have to point out to you most likely. It runs like a scalded dog. That said no joy rides without money in hand. Mechanically the only issue I have seen is an intermittent speedo stoppage due to the sensor. This means either take it off and clean it or replace it. You can get them cheap on eBay. Im selling for a couple reason. Moving, closing on a house, and I'm not riding it which is a crime because it really is a good bike. It has an aftermarket seat and heli bars so it's comfortable for touring. I am 5'11" and can tolerate 500+ mile days on it. I will be including work stands and if I can find them saddle bags(no promises on those...in the middle of moving) and also a battery tender/charger.Title in hand.Also the Yoshi cans are just slip ons.If you feel ****** saying your offer please don't. This motorcycle absolutely needs a few seasons of riding before you hop on it... for your own safety and the safety of others.Ok, now that we got out of the way... I am the ONE AND ONLY owner. The title is in my hands FREE AND CLEAR of any liens or loans. It was originally purchased at Cherry Hill Motorsports (unfortunately they closed down 2 years ago) in 2011. This motorcycle has NEVER been crashed. It has NEVER seen rain, sleet, or snow. It has ALWAYS been garage stored in New Milford, NJ with a motorcycle cover.Why are you selling it?Simply, I don't ride it enough (I blame it all on the fiancé and my Harley Davidson Fatboy Lo)... AND most importantly... I have a baby on the way, so all the toys are going (especially the fast and dangerous ones!!! and also unfortunately the Harley which I will also be listing once I do the maintenance for that). Yes, I know, family life, it's a bummer. And yes, this Hayabusa only has 889 miles. You read that right... 889 miles!!!Did you do any mods?The only mods on this bike (if they can even be called that) are Shogun Frame Sliders and the Two Brothers Exhaust (no tuning necessary). Otherwise, everything else is OEM for you to tinker with. The Two Brothers Exhaust replaces the stock exhaust and gives the Hayabusa the growl it deserves! You're going to smile when you hear it roar! It was a $1300 upgrade including labor. The Shogun Frame Sliders will help protect the fairings in case of a crash, that was another $200 job. Both items were installed by Circle Cycle in Ridgefield, NJ (one of the best motorcycle shops in NJ!!!). Is there anything cosmetically and mechanically wrong with the motorcycle? Cosmetically, yes. Not realizing how heavy this bike was and how short I am (it's a tall bike and I'm only about 5' 7"), I dropped it while backing out of the garage 3 years ago. The areas that have been scratched are barely noticeable (thank goodness for the frame slider!!!). The left side is where the bike dropped. I have personally decided to not even put touch up paint on it, although it will look even better with a little touch up paint. I have taken pictures to highlight all the areas that were scuffed during the drop. They will be the last set of photos in the photo gallery. Everything else on the bike is as if it was brand new!!! Don't take my word for it, check out the pics and/or come and check it out for yourself! On 8/09/2015 I changed the oil (Castrol 10W-40), replaced the oil filter (K&N KN-138), and lubed up the chains (Dupont Teflon Chain Saver). Amazon.com receipts available for all of it if requested! This thing is ready to go and ride for the next owner!!!Now mechanically... everything is working 120% EXCEPT for the RPM gauge. For some reason it's not registering. Perhaps the wire for it was frayed during the last Winter? Removing the fairings on the Hayabusa is a huge PITA. I had already done that while changing the oil so I'm not prepared to undergo the task again... so I'll leave that to the next owner. :) Can I test ride it? Yes, absolutely!!! I welcome all test rides!!! HOWEVER... only after we have agreed on a FINAL price on the motorcycle AND the payment is IN MY HANDS. You can test ride it all the way to California afterwards if you like. You can inspect the motorcycle with a magnifying glass if that's what you want to do... heck, bring a motorcycle mechanic and do whatever you have to do!!! There's nothing for me to hide... BUT... if you don't have the cash, there are absolutely NO TEST RIDES. Sorry, that's just motorcycle sales 101. I've heard too many sellers that have been scammed, robbed, and/or the bike is crashed during the test ride. If you wish, I'll be more than happy to ride it and do a few corners to show you everything is 120% solid. Kawabusa II is the second one of only two Kawabusa's ever built !It has been featured in many Motorcycle Magazines all over the World, including Cycle World and Motor Cyclist here in the USA, MCN (Motor Cycle News) and BSH (Back Street Heroes)in England, plus Germany, Japan, and Australia. It has also been talked about on many, many,motorcycle related blogs on the internet all over the World. I started with an immaculate 2003 Kawasaki ZRX1200R, and installed the motor out of a 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R. I then added a 05 GSXR1000 tail/seat section, and custom made a pair of side covers to blend the seat/tail section to the bike. I converted the bike to mono-shock, and installed the Busa swing arm, wheels and bakes. I also installed the Busa inverted forks, and a custom carbon fiber front fender (from Japan) I custom fabricated the 2 into 2 stainless exhaust system, and fitted a pair of Yoshimura carbon mufflers. The gauges were from a Suzuki GSX1400 (only sold in Europe) I originally built this bike in 2008, and after a couple of years, it was sold to a private collector in Chicago.Last year I was luckily in the position to be able to buy it back, and a couple of months ago, I gave it a full "freshen up", including powder-coating the foot controls, muffler straps, lower tree etc., and gave her a full new paint job in Gloss Black and Kawasaki Green ( I originally painted it Suzuki blue and pearl white to match the gixxer tail section). This Bike was on Display last week at the Aime Expo in Orlando (where I took these pictures)As I said, this bike is one of only two Kawabusa's that exist, and the other one was sold to Jesse James back in 09 (I added a pic of the title of the OTHER Kawabusa, NOT this one). So, if you are looking for a rare collectors bike, or just something that is truly a blast to ride, then this is the bike for you !
