2007 Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom 1000 / 2-Cylinders, 4-Stroke, 996cc. For sale is my pristine V-Strom 1000, dual sport motorcycle. Original owner, well maintained, garage kept. Slip on exhaust pipes (Leo Vince Titanium SBK) which sound awesome! I have hardly ridden this thing, it only has 4461 miles. Blue book value for this bike assumes 10,000 + miles. This bike is practically new. A little about the bike: It was my first dual sport, and some things I learned: The riding position puts you upright which is great for both comfort and visibility. The full size handle bar design and large diameter front wheel give you insane controllability and maneuverability; this thing is great for commuting and dices traffic like no business (safely and with reason of course). It has globs of torque and power, sounds insane, and really gets up and goes. As for the passenger seat, I was able to ride a passenger with no issues; they have lots of room and the bike exhibits no negative handling issues. A great bike to take someone cruising to Julian, or on longer cross country rides (with the addition of luggage racks). Title in hand. I would potentially be willing to add a few helmets, a over-sized locking wheel chain, and a few additional maintenance items if the price is right. Local pick-up preferred. I would prefer not to ship (if shipping required, it must be handled completely by the purchaser).
