An 1100 cc V -Twin motorcycle capable of in town riding , its only 600 pounds and a short 64.8 inch wheelbase make it easy to get around but also roomy enough to get out and tour with . The guy who traded it was over 6 feet tall and he and his wife fit comfortably riding two up with gear in the hard , locking saddlebags . The V - Star 1100 does have a low 28 inch seat and does fit varying rider heights . Yamaha has built very reliable and dependable air cooled V - Twin motors since 1981 with the original Virago Series and the entire V - Star lineup continues that tradition . A shaft final drive is also smooth and easy to maintain . The bike has triple disc brakes that work well riding on cast wheels that are easy to keep clean and you can run tubeless tires too . This one has a windshield , driving lights , hard lockable saddlebags , a backrest with a luggage rack for additional space to carry a soft bag .
