For sale is a nice stock 1973 Honda SL125 enduro motorcycle. I believe it is completely original. 3947 miles. Runs and rides good. Engine runs good and does not bog but the valves are getting loud and probably need adjusted i was told. I am not a mechanic and I have never opened up engine and i dont think it was ever opened up. I am not sure if it is the valves but i can hear a ticking/rattle in engine. Very little to no smoke from exhaust. Bike shifts great through all the gears. Seat does have a couple rips and couple paint specks but still pretty good condition for the year. Chain, sprocket, and tires look to be the original ones that came with bike and are in decent condition. Fenders are in good condition but do have a few scratches and little surface rust. Handle bars are a little bent and one foot peg is bent like the bike may have fallen over. Original grips, cables, and levers. Exhaust works good no leaks but has some rust. Front shocks leak and are bouncy. Back shocks seem OK. Gas tank has some scratches and a little rust on bottom but does not leak. There is a little jb weld on bottom of tank where rust is but you cant hardly see it.I have been trying to keep gas tank full so it dont rust inside but there is a little surface rust in tank where it is not submerged in gas. I put a fuel filter in the fuel line just in case. Bike does not leak oil and oil was recently changed. Lights work but battery is dead. Bike is street legal and comes with clean clear Indiana title as seen in one of the photos. Bike is located in Michigan City, IN 46360 and will need to be picked up there. Please check vehicle condition in seller's notes and ask any questions you are unsure of. This is the lightest and most nimble of the legendary Yamaha International Trials line (IT). It has an incredible 11.8" of ground clearance and a nice seat height. Stored in my garage for over twenty years, I pulled it out and got it running again. See Vehicle condition section. Nice expansion chamber, frame has been stripped and painted black. Engine starts easily. Nice looking motorcycle, once restored it would be great for the ever increasing popular vintage hare scrambles in the 125 class. Light and quick on it's "feet" especially in tight corners and in the woods, a pleasure to ride all day long. Most parts are readily available through your local Yamaha dealer or right here on eBay. Add it to your collection or just getting it going to enjoy, or both. People tend to congregate around it. The 125s are not as common as the 175s making it just different enough to be a collector. Again, take a look through the vehicle condition section and ask questions, I'll do my best to respond. These motorcycles do not have an odometer so mileage is unknown and a number is placed in the mileage section of this ad as it's mandatory. Up for sale is my vintage 1974 Kawasaki KS125. I have a clear Florida title in hand. Just finished a painstaking, true to original, two year frame up restoration with a combination, repainting, refinishing, replacing OEM parts. Searching for parts was nearly impossible as the KS125 was only made for two years...1974-1975...VERY RARE...Whenever possible parts were replaced with NOS and when no longer available they were cleaned, blasted, re-chromed or repainted. The original Candy Lime Green paint was used and done professionally...the side cover is a brand new NOS part. The engine and carburetor were gone over thoroughly and cleaned repaired and tuned where necessary. I would rate the bike as a 8.0-9.0 on a scale of 1-10, because there are a few original un-retouched parts such as the tires and rims. The speedometer shows 750 miles as of today, however it may have a few more by the time it sells as its a blast to ride...everyone stops to ask about it... I have tried to include as many detail pictures, including a few "before"s, as possible however I can always add/send more by request. The entire restoration is documented in pictures. In the past I have restored and sold a 1962 Yamaha YDS-2, 1968 Kawasaki A7-SS Avenger, 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 LTD, 1976 Honda CR125 Elsinore and many others with great results so consider this bike with confidence. There is no title to this bike I had to chose a option. Penton 125 in original shape. From the vin number and what I looked up I am pretty sure it is a 10/71. The bike seems to be mostly complete and shows well. The previous owner said it used to run and than it sat for years and now the top end is locked up. There is a piece missing on one of the fins, some web cracks on the gas tank, shift lever looks broke off and some of the controls on the grip look to be missing or broke. Other than that the bike shows real well. Please look at all of the pictures to get exact visible condition if I missed anything. COMES WITH NEW FORK SEALS, NEW EXHAUST GASKET AND CLAMP NOT INSTALLED YET AND A FEW OTHER NEW PARTS ,I JUST PUT A NEW GAS LINE ON IT BECAUSE IT WAS HARD AS A ROCK ALSO PUT ON NEW MIRRORS, NEW AIR FILTER,NEW FRONT FORK REFLECTORS AND RUBBER GROMETS, THE TANK WAS ALSO REMOVED AND CLEANED OUT OF ANY BAD GAS AND IT HAD SOME MINOR RUSTING INSIDE FROM NOT BEING IN USE.SO IT WAS RED KOTED AND A NEW PETCOCK INSTALLED! NEEDS CLEANING AND HAS SOME CHROME PITTING. I HAVE WIPED DOWN THE CHROME WITH WD-40 TO TRY TO PREVENT IT FROM ANY FURTHER RUST DAMAGE SO IF IT LOOKS DULL IN THE PICTURES THAT COULD BE PART OF THE REASON! ITS A two stroke oil injection 4 speed with hi/low range, all the lights work, I BOUGHT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNERS WITH THE INTENSIONS OF SOMETHING TO PLAY AROUND WITH AND GET PLATE'S AND ON THE ROAD BUT I DONT GET MUCH TIME TO TINKER WITH IT AND I DONT EVEN GET TO RIDE MY OTHER MOTORCYCLE AS IT IS!
