See and hear it run. Go to you tube or Google and copy and paste this post by Mark Stevens ; Kick Start 1969 Harley Shovelhead Chopper with Weber Carburator Vehicle Description An authentic 1969 FLH Harley Davidson Shovelhead custom built by Pete Smith. One of the country's premier bike builders in the 70's and 80's. and founder of the Motorcycle Supermarket in Buffalo NY. Pete's bikes have been featured in Easy Rider and Biker Magazines. His bikes have won numerous Rat's Hole shows and have been seen in all motorcycle magazines on the day. This bike also took 2nd place trophy at Daytona's Rat's Hole in Spring of 1983 and was featured in Big Bike Choppers magazine ( Summer 1979). Here are the specs: Titled as a 1969 Harley Davidson in My name. Title is clear. Fresh motor with 200 miles on rebuild Andrews B Grind Cam New Weisco Pistons 84 cubic inch motor with 80" S & S Stroker flywheels Heads completely redone Refurbised 4 speed transmission with Andrews gears Paucho oil tank and primary covers 14 mm Primo Brute Belt Drive Original 1957 Harley Davidson Straight leg frame Stunning old school chopper in EXCELLENT condition. Chrome everywhere even the cases. Front fender is included as shown in separate pic. Paint was done by Rob at Paradice Paint in Pittsburgh, Pa. This bike is totally street legal also. Which includes original front and back brakes. Restoration of the bike was completed about a year or two ago. Carburetor is a chrome and polished WEBER DCOE 40. If the buyer wishes I can swap out the Weber with a S&S "E" carb at no charge. The bike looks Fantastic. Won many trophys and is a show stopper at bike nights and rallys. She runs really good and the WEBER adds another dimension to its performance. I'm selling because I have too many bikes and there is nothing more to do on this one. She sits in my house every winter and in the summer I ride her around the neighborhood or hit a bike night or show once in a while. Time for some else to enjoy it. I can assist in shipping but buyer will be required to make all the arrangements. Down Payment of $500 is required no later than 3 days after end of auction.

Harley Davidson 1969 Shovelhead This mid 60's Frisco style chopper was built by Mesa Cycle, Costa Mesa, CA. It has 3,000 miles on it. The frame is an original 1954 wishbone, paint is by Mitch Lanzini of overhaul fame. Springer front end, S&S shorty carb, stock 74 inch. It's a ROCKER! Very fast, tracks straight.. kick start only. A great amount of custom work has been done. Oil filter , billet front end brace, billet coil cover. Italian Leather seat and passenger seat. It has a California current title, this is not a special construction. It is titled as a 1969 Harley Davidson FLH. A few brothers from back in the day put much time into the bike.. five years worth! Everything being time correct. You must see the bike to do it justice.

New for 2012, the Harley® Electra Glide® Classic features a powerful, new, larger air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley® engine with 6 speed cruise drive tranmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and lugagge. A key feature of the bike is the motorcycle luggage capacity. The FLHTC has a Tour Pak providing additional space to the Harley® motorcycle saddlebags. The GTX Harley® saddlebags are perfect for storing your items for long distance ridding. Learn more about this bike with its Harley® saddlebags and Tour Pak motorcycle luggage capacity. Key Features may include: CLASSIC FUEL TANK Part of the unmistakable style of the Harley-Davidson® Electra Glide® Classic motorcycle is plenty of room for showing off your paint. This classically styled, bold six-gallon fuel tank doesn't just give you a bigger canvas for premium or custom paint; it holds six gallons of go so you can eat up a lot more road between pit stops. We know fuel economy is important but so is style. Sharp, eye-catching colors and premium waterslide graphics give this ride a classic Glide look. BAT-WING FAIRING Designed by Chief Styling Officer Willie G. Davidson, the nimble, fork-mounted Bat-Wing fairing first appeared on the touring scene back in 1969. And it continues to evolve and symbolize the essence of Grand American Touring motorcycles more than forty years later. The full 8-inch windscreen gives it that classic touring profile and additional comfort. Simply put, the wind is not a factor for the mile-hungry rider who wants to soak up the freedom of the open road for days on end. GTX® SADDLEBAGS These injection-molded hard bags have room for 2.26 cu. ft. volume of long-haul luxuries and a perfect surface for showing off some premium paint. Even better, these saddlebags open from the top, so your gear won't end up spilled all over the highway. They keep your fancy unmentionables dry, and the chrome latches won't corrode in bad weather. Stunning chrome guards on the saddlebags are only available on the Electra Glide® Classic and Ultra Classic® Electra Glide®. And when you're off the road, one common key starts the bike and gives you access to your saddlebags, keeping your pockets as uncluttered as your bike's classic design. LARGE 17-INCH FRONT WHEEL If you crave long-haul agility on rides of all distances, then you're going to love this. We beefed things up a bit by adding a big, mighty wheel with a low aspect ratio. That means the bike maintains its legendary tight turning radius, balanced feel and superior low-speed maneu

This build was done in 1994 by Jim Broxmeyer of "The Bike Shop" in Bound Brook, NJ, which has been building old school choppers since 1969. It was originally built for a Superior Court Judge at the cost of $40,000. This old school, high tech bike is a 101 cubic inch, 4 3/4 stroke, 3 5/8 bore, S & S cases, flywheels, rods, crank-98" sidewinder S & S kit, ported and polished, balanced and blue printed. It has a 4 speed trans, cal products case, with rev tech, back cut, close ratio gears, with a reverse shift pattern. The heads are std panhead 4 plug. The build includes the following: Rivera Pro Clutch, Primo belt guard, Hi-4 Crane Ignition, Dyna 4 tower coil, S & S shorty carb, Arlen Ness headlight, Andrews B cam, Electric and Kick start, performance "six pack" drilled disk brakes, hydraulic brakes and clutch, drag specialties speedo, Paughco Straight Leg hard tail frame, LaPera seat, Akront aluminum wheels, Billy Lane 44 mag risers & oil plug, Arlen Ness tail light. This bike took "Best of Show" in the Philadelphia Easy Rider Bike Show. It was featured in a major magazine article in Febrary 2003. I have pictures from the original build and all invoices and receipts since new, including a recent refurbish. This bike was repainted with a nut and bolt rebuild by Performance 41 at a cost of over $12,000. You would be buying the best and the performance is off the charts.
