LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY!!! HARLEY SPORTSTER ENGINE WITH PA. T!!! $500 PayPal deposit within 24 hours of purchase & cash in full upon pick-up! On 'Buy-it-Now' or 'Best Offer' is a 1969 XLH, (electric start only), Sportster engine ONLY with Pa. T. The engine cases, cylinders and heads are finished in wrinkle black and most of the rest of the engine is chromed which is in fair to good condition. There is no carburetor included and the upright timer is not the correct one. Unknown mileage on the engine. It appears to have a fresh top end as I gaze through the spark plug holes to see a pair of +.070" oversize pistons without any carbon on them. There is no visible damage to the crankcases; the speedo drive area appears perfect. The VIN pad is crisp and clear with factory numbers. (Last year for engine only left side VIN's). The engine case half's are a matched pair with matching 'belly' numbers. I have hooked up a car battery to the starter and it spins through without issues and the transmission clicks through all four gears and neutral. The T. is from Pa. and has issues in that a couple of previous owners apparently filled in the buyer info on the back but never changed the document into their name at the DMV, so this will need to be dealt with, perhaps by a title agency. Please study the photos, ask your questions and consult with your local Harley swami as THERE ARE NO RETURNS FOR ANY REASON!!! There is no guarantee or warranty of any kind offered or implied. FEEDBACK; 'POSITIVE' feedback posted after buyer first posts mine. Again, local pick-up only and required $500.00 PayPal deposit within 24 hours of purchase and cash for remainder upon pick-up. Thanks for looking and Good-Luck with your bids and buys!!! Oh, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

69 Sportster XLH. Stock: Frame, forks, brakes, and drivetrain. Modifications: S&S Carb, "Y" grind Cams, 1000cc heads, kicker added, oil cooler, custom made seat w/ fiberglass frame and gel packs, drag bars w/ internal throttle cable (not sold, had to be made!), alarm, twin taillight bulbs, braided lines, 2&1/2 gallon King Sporty tank, red LEDs, Quality wiring, chromed brackets, levers, and fasteners, Metalflakes in House of Colour Polyurethane, 12" rear shocks and 16" rear wheel to lower her and an oversized front sprocket to compensate the 16" wheel, gel battery, new o-ring chain, clutch plates, and starter solenoid. Pipes treated with ceramic inside so they won't turn blue! Clear florida Title! I bought this bike in alabama in 2000, and in 2006 I went COMPLETELY through it, including Motor and Tranny. Machining was done by Dave of Tri-County Cycles in Brooksville. Since the I've ridden her 1,500 to 3000 miles a year for a total of less than 15,000. Never over 1/2 throttle (it doesn't need more!). This bike has won several trophys including 2 Second place Rats Hole Trophys, and best of show at a small show once. Frame is unaltered and the bike could easily be restored, or ride as is for years! Includes matching 1/2 helmets, factory workshop manual, shock adjusting tool, and specialty tools. Well-balanced, low center of gravity, cruise control, this bike can be ridden hands free, but that's illegal in Florida, so of course I've never done that.

VERY RARE Sportster XL-APRICE LOWEREDFrom 1970 to 1980 Harley made six models: 2G = XLT 3A = XLH 4A = XLCH 4E = XLS 7F = XLCR 4D = XLA (A = Military) The last two pictures are what an XL-A looks like Please note, XL-A’s were made specifically for the military up until 1965. Starting 1966 the XL-A’s were made only AFTER the military special ordered one. This bike has a matching engine and frame number # 4D52301H2 You can get information about how many of each model was produced, EXCEPT the XLA. Harley-Davidson will not give any information about Military bikes because of the Government’s confidential rules and regulations. I was told that less than 50 were made for the Military. They were used primarily for parades and escorts. They were ridden and used for parts to keep others running and then scrapped. This is the only survivor I have found other than a 1969 XLA a couple of years ago. This bike does not run. It was taken completely apart in preparation for restoration. I purchased the bike in a “Basket” I have assembled the bike to show it in its basic form and to roll. I have not put all the parts back on the bike. I have a picture of all the parts I have for the bike. (I’m told that it has the wrong carburetor.) All the wiring has been removed but included. The motor turns over freely but needs a complete overhaul. The bike also is in need of a total restoration. Once finished and done right this bike could be a priceless museum piece. The bike has a clear North Carolina Title. It has been signed off by the previous owner and notarized. My name is listed as the “first Re-Assignment” The bike has recorded mileage of 15.342 I’m getting a lot of different opinions about the value of this bike. I really don’t know the value of this bike in its present condition. It is for a collector. I think somewhere around $15,000 when finished. The auction has a buy now price of best offer. If you want it, you should make an offer ASAP An opportunity like this doesn’t come along very often. The bike is in Walnut, CA. (far eastern area of Los Angeles) and is available for inspection anytime. SHIPPING: $500 West Coast $600 Mid West $700 East Coast Out of Country buyers Welcome Questions please call Stuart 909 239-6199
