For sale 1969-1970 Honda CB 750K0. Serial number is CB750-1013217. Engine number is CB750E-1013278. Mileage 28809. I have had the bike in storage for about 20 years. The goal was to restore it one day. I pulled it out a few weeks ago and fired it up. It is rideable but needs a turn up. It is mostly original except for after market exhaust, seat and extended front forks. Some one has cut the front fender down. Does not have the original fork ears that hold the headlight on. The turn signals are missing. I do have the original air box. The previous owners cracked the original one. Someone that can do fiberglass work could repair it. No rust in the fuel tank. Be a fantastic project for someone to restore. Asking 7295.00.

I'm selling my first motorcycle to a good home or collector. It's has been partially restored but needs a few more things to bring it back to original glory. Missing are: center stand brackets, horn bracket and horn, steering stops. I have the center stand and brackets and will have to be rewelded back onto the frame. I don't have the steering stops or the horn or mounts. The bike runs like new, and has had the carbs rebuilt. The petcock leaks and fuel WILl overflow the carbs, but this can be corrected. The tank is NOT 69, but NOS and so is the tank badges. The air box and side covers are 69 NOS, and the pipes are original, but from another 69. The seat has been re-covered and was done to specs. The seat frame is original as far as I can remember. I have all the reproduction stickers and serial number plate, and this will have to be stamped with the serial number. The front fender is correct 69, and so is the back. I have the original shocks, but progressives are on it now. The speedo and tach are original and came with the bike. This is a VERY early model, and was purchased in Calgary at BOW CYCLE. I am the second owner. It is located in PINCHER CREEK Alberta and is for pick up only. I will not ship. These bikes are extremely rare, and this one has survived all these years in very good condition. This is NOT a fully restored bike, as most are not, having had parts added throughout the years, but it is 90% there! See video at youtube.com/watch?v=Pyhu6dILysA

1969 Honda cb750 This is a one owner bike, bought by the current registered keeper in 1970 in Ponca city, OK i had plans to completely restore this bike to a show piece but circumstances have changed and I could do with the time towards other projects and I hate to see it sit and not enjoyed. The bike right now is a very good condition rider, it has been painted in it's life but in the original paint scheme, there is some cracking on one side cover and airbox as is common on these old bikes. The carbs were just cleaned and tuned and the bike is very easy starting and runs, shifts, rides very smooth. Always start very quick from cold with just a little choke. It has all original parts, except the carbs were replaced at the dealer for later style carbs, this was common on these bikes because the 4 cable original set up were tricky. But the bike still has the correct front fender with double cuts, wrinkle tank, early gauges, correct rear wheel and chain guard, correct front caliper and it has the correct early oil tank. It is missing the grab rail which you would use to get it on the centre stand as it had a sissy bar installed and the grab bar was lost, the bike also had high rise bars fitted at some point and so the front brake top hose is longer and the clutch cable. If the buy it now price is met I would be happy to replace these with correct length parts. The best part about this bike is the ever important original pipes, I fitted NOS HM300 pipes correct for this vintage that I obtained, that are as close to perfect as you will see bolted on a bike, they sound fantastic, much better than 341's and are what I will miss most about the bike. The seat is a reproduction, but I think it's one of the best out there from Machiv motors. I have tried to list defects on the bike but I will try to itemize all faults i have recognized in the interest of being completely honest with someone who might want to purchase without viewing the bike:-cracks in side covers and airbox-incorrect brake line and clutch cable-carbs from later bike (dealer retrofit) -chrome speedo ring is slightly misshapen -kickstart recoil spring doesn't work, the kickstart works fine but doesn't spring back (electric start works fine)If I can think of anyone else I will be sure to update the listing. The asking price for the bike is mainly due to the pipes, and I would be tempted by an offer for the bike without pipes at around 3k less, as I know it will be hard to get another set should I happen across another bike in the future when my circumstances permit a restoration. This is for sure a chance to own a very special Honda, if I don't recieve what I consider to be reasonable offers, I will put the bike back into storage until such a time that I can put the time into it for restoration and make myself a very nice piece of motorcycle history. I am happy to hold the bike until the winning bidder can collect or organize shipping, but will need a deposit paid within 48 hours of the auction end. I'm also happy to deal with people overseas and will share contact details with any seriously interested parties who want to talk on the phone about the bike or sale details.

1975 CB750K5 SOHC *THE ORIGINAL SUPERBIKE* for saleLess than 2000 miles!!Clean TitleUp to date on inspectionFull upgrade/mechanic history providedFront/top end completely overhauled at the beginning of the summer. All brand new parts completely cleaned up. We, aka my mechanic specializing in rebuilding/servicing classic motor-works, literally took it all apart replaced most of the parts. We even cut down the fenders into a more bobby, "cafe" aesthetic.Brand new charging system working in tip-top condition. Thats a new battery, new rotor, new alternator, new stator, spark plugs redone, and also all wires/fuses completely redone.Aftermarket Headlight/tailight/turn signals/hazards all "cafe racer" style. All new bulbs recently placed.Currently has an aftermarket speedometer in the photos, but can provide the original OEM speedometer/odometer combo.Understand that 1975 bikes of this model are extremely rare, and at under 2,000 miles its basically nowhere to be found. On top of that, half a year’s worth of consistent love and labor have gone into making it as good as any bike on the road today. Asking price is $6,500 but i'm very open to negotiation. I'm not riding at all nowadays, so I'd like to give it to someone who will. It's an awesome bike at any level. Although the weight's a bit heavy if this is your very first time ever riding a motorcycle, this is THE bike that will turn you into a rider.History of the Honda CB750  Between 1968 and 1969 the R&D team at Honda set about creating a transverse, overhead camshaft, inline 4-cylinder engine to power this new bike. This engine was mated to an all new 5-speed transmission, the engine was fitted with 4 carburettors (one for each cylinder) and was capable of 68hp, 44ft-lbs of torque, a top speed of over 120mph and a 1/4 mile time of 13 seconds.   These specifications were revolutionary. When the bike was first put on sale in 1969 the word "superbike" was coined to describe it, it cost just $1,495 USD (~$9,500 in 2013) which gave it a huge price advantage over its rivals and it came as standard with hydraulic disc brakes, a reliable engine, excellent handling and enough power to beat almost anything on 2 wheels (or 4). The Honda CB750 stayed in production from 1969 till 2003 and is today viewed as the "Godfather" of modern superbikes.

Runs and rides great. Four into two exhaust. Clean gas tank. New tires (Dunlops...$400 last year). New front brake pads installed last spring & rear brake shoes have plenty of pad left (checked when new tires installed). New seat cover installed this year. Padded sissy bar/backrest and sissy bar bag included with purchase. Also have quick release windscreen that will come with sale of the motorcycle. With 20588 miles (and counting), this vintage motorcycle is in excellent original condition for being 37 years old. Priced below NADA & Kelley Blue Book values. Honda of Japan introduced the CB750 motorcycle to the US and European markets in 1969 after experiencing success with their smaller motorcycles. The bike was targeted directly at the US market. Under development for a year, the CB750 offered two unprecedented features, a front disc brake and a transverse straight-4 engine with an overhead cam, neither of which was previously available on a mainstream, affordable production bike. These two features, along with the introductory price of US$1,495, gave the CB750 a considerable advantage over its competition, particularly its British rivals. Cycle magazine called the CB750 "the most sophisticated production bike ever" upon its introduction. Cycle World called it a masterpiece, highlighting Honda's painstaking durability testing, the bike's 120 mph (190 km/h) top speed, and the fade-free performance of the braking, the comfortable ride and excellent instrumentation. The Discovery Channel ranked the Honda CB750 third among the top ten greatest motorbikes of all time.

1971 Honda CB750K1 History: In February 1968, Honda organized a team of about 20 members to head the development effort of a new high-performance motorcycle. Around this time, Honda heard from a reliable source that the British manufacturer Triumph was developing a 750cc triple, and in turn, Honda immediately settled on developing a 750cc four to counter the British effort . The in-line four design, with 4 separate exhaust pipes, was chosen so motorcyclists around the world would immediately associate the bike with the Honda Grand Prix road racers of the mid-sixties.A secondary goal was to build an engine that would produce at least 67 horsepower - one more than the most powerful 1300cc Harley Davidson at that time. Lastly, Honda wanted to build a bike with superior performance and reliability. So, in July 1969, Honda introduced the first CB750, and changed the motorcycle industry forever. The initial production numbers were forecast to be only 1,500 per year. Well, the 1,500 yearly goal quickly became a monthly production number, and soon after, the monthly production number rose to an amazing 3,000 units. About this bike: The first Honda CB750 was sold as a "K0" model in 1969 and 1970. The bike for sale here was built in September 1970, and was sold as a 1971 model with the model designation "K1". However, the September 1970 build date means that this bike was manufactured in the original Honda "Factory One" where the bikes were a bit more hand-made, prior to the high production assembly line that came a short time later. The engine on this bike has a hand-ported head from the factory, and some of the frame components are hand-welded. These manufacturing processes were eliminated when the new assembly line was built by Honda to meet the rising demand for the bike. Recently, this CB750 received a complete frame-off restoration, and has been driven approximately 3,000 fair-weather miles since then. The frame was media blasted and received professionally applied black lacquer. NOS parts include the HM300 complete exhaust system, NOS rear shocks, NOS turn signals, and NOS tank and side panel emblems. Other new components are the swing arm bushings, front and rear wheel bearings, rebuilt carbs, new carb manifolds and boots, front brake pads, control cables and nearly all the rubber parts, bumpers and grommets. The tires are Bridgestone Spitfires with period correct sizing and look.Mechanically, the motorcycle is completely refreshed and the bike runs strong and stops as it should. The sound of the exhaust is really nice as these original pipes are a bit less restrictive than the later HM341 exhausts. Cosmetically the bike is a 9+ with all re-plated hardware and excellent chrome everywhere. The paint on this bike is new, very beautiful and unique for a Honda sold in the United States. The inspiration for the paint came from a Honda CB750 color called "Polynesian Blue Metallic". It was offered only in the European and Japanese markets and was not available in the U.S. It is not the same color as the Candy Blue-Green offered here in the U.S. in 1969 and 1970. Finally, the bike is just plain stunning. Take a look at the photos and see if you agree. This bike would more than hold it's own at a concours show. But good looks aside, I like the fact that the bike works so very well. It is really fun to ride, and for me, I think I would do as much riding as displaying. I am selling this bike on behalf of one of my restoration clients. Questions and/or offers can be directed to me. Feel free to call Bill at (805) 708-1129 Comes with a Clear Arizona Title. The bike is located in Santa Barbara, CA 93105. Shipping costs to the lower 48 States can run between $250-650 depending on your location. Arranging and paying for shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. I do have several shipping contacts that I am happy to share with you.
