BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED 1968 TRIUMPH DUNSTALL T120 ROAD RACER. All alloy tanks, rims and fenders. Freshly rebuild Motor to Completion specs, Twin carburetors, New Transmission, Newly power coated frame, Alloy tanks, Alloy fenders, Alloy road racing rims, new gauges, cables, wiring, Clip-on racing handle bars, Alloy inner hub & vented brakes. I bought this off the Michigan Norton Club President Dave Smith about 12 years ago. He was in a fatal accident and his collection was sold off. I purchased this Triumph Dunstall her personally restored, a 1969 AJS Stormer and a 1967 Norton P11 he restored. I have since sold all but the Triumph. Now it is time for it to find a good home. Complete rebuilt of motor & trans, brakes, electrical, suspension. Motor is a racing combination of the TR6R Motor Case with a T120 Heads and twin racing carbs. It is a beautifully executed combination of a low mileage 1968 Triumph Bonneville and a Dunstall package specifically designed for Triumph and the race track. The Racing components include the powder coated frame, stunning Dunstall alloy tanks, Dunstall exhaust and factory racing alloy rims. She is extremely well built with a handsome fork system and exhaust system. Again, this motorcycle has been fully, mechanically & cosmetically restored to museum quality. The bike has not been raced or run (except for a start up check out procedure limited road testing) or ridden since the complete restoration. The speedometer shows 234 break-in miles. The beautiful alloy rims really look great on this bike. In summary, full mechanical restoration, beautifully finished Dunstall racing package and a very rare motorcycle indeed. There was a great deal of money invested in this motorcycle. The work was completed by Dave Smith a past Norton Club President of Michigan,....certainly one of the best! She comes with an open and clean title. No taxes collected. Will help arrange wholesale shipping if you request. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Many of the items we list are used and display wear and tear we do our best to accurately portray each item with detailed photos and descriptions. Sold as it is with out liens or warranties. All sales final. Please ask any questions or concerns you have before bidding. Feel free to schedule a visit to inspect anytime prior to the auctions end. 1968 Triumph Bonneville custom Bobber / Barhopper. Fresh build with many, many new parts. Bike has a stock wheelbase with old school 70s full loop hard tail. This bobber is comfortable and a blast to ride. Starts first kick. The details: 1968 Bonneville frame with looped hardtail, custom billet rear engine mount, TR6 4 gallon tank, ribbed rear fender, custom round oil tank properly plumbed for Triumphs. Stock rake, stock forks rebuilt with new seal holders and seals, boots and new chrome top nuts. New bonded bushes and hardware for the handlebar mount. Wide, comfortable leather seat with about 3 inches of seat travel on the coil springs. All new cables, throttle, alloy levers, and jackhammer grips. Foot peg, kick and shift rubbers- all new as well as the kick lever and shift lever. New rear 16 inch rim with chrome spokes, stock 19" Dunlop front rim with new polished stainless spokes. New sealed wheel bearings, new brake linings, new tubes and tires. Lots of new, chrome or re-cad hardware. New drive chain and 20 tooth countershaft sprocket for less RPM at cruise verses the standard 19. Stock gas tank mount and rubbers, new gas cap, and brass petcocks. Oil tank is rubber mounted at 3 points- no more cracked oil tank tabs. New oil lines. All new custom color coded wiring using British connecters- no lamp cord on this one. Sealed battery, positive ground, Tympanium voltage regulator, new coils, plug leads, points and condensers. Twin mini tail lights, LED license plate light as well as an LED under tank to light the motor. Ignition is by toggle switch cleverly concealed in the usual place under the seat. Accessible while riding. 6" Bates style quartz head light with a 3 position toggle- off, dim and bright. Engine is a 1971 4 speed that had an older + .030 rebuild with low miles. Solid bottom end, ran good with good oil pressure. Motor was gone through to replace every oil seal, gasket and O-ring. Nice and oil tight. New clutch plates. Head was in good condition, but knurled the guides, cut seats and lapped the valves to be sure. Engine side covers are free of nicks, scratches, dents or road rash. Dual Amal 930s were rebuilt with tight slides, new O-rings, needle jets, and alloy float needles. New style shielded ticklers installed. Exhaust is equal length drag pipes with new exhaust clown clamps, wrapped, with glas pak muffler inserts. Sounds good, but if you want more noise, the inserts are easily removed for that full Triumph sound. This bike was built with reliability and rideability in mind. A 50 mile trip doesn't have to be a torture session, that's why the seat, handlebars and riding position were made this way. On the other hand- can be modified the way you like it- that's the beauty and fun of a custom bike. Read the description and look at the pictures, almost everything is new or rebuilt. Very nice professional paint job. Have a clear Michigan title in my name. Title says 1969, but was probably sold in 69, thus titled in 69. Title and frame of course match. That was common back in the day. Those that are new to vintage British bikes be advised this is 47 years old, kick start only, no speedometer, tachometer, horn or turn signals. Does have a rear view mirror. Mileage is unknown, but had to put something in. Bike is located in Mason MI, 48854. Will assist the shipper of your choice, but please get your own quotes. Will ship anywhere. A Paypal deposit of $ 500.00 required within 48 hours of auction close, full payment within 7 days of auction close, or at pick up or shipping. If these terms aren't met or other arrangements made, bike will be relisted. I can store the bike for you if you send proof of insurance. If you have less than 10 feedbacks, please contact me before bidding. Bike can be viewed in person if needed. If you have any questions, feel free to call Pat at 517-694-5255.

1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R 650 cc motorcycle. The Triumph is truly a 98 pointe bike that bares no excuses for build quality and numbers matching motor that was also fully restored using all NOS parts. The bike underwent an updated electronic ignition which removed the original point setup which makes the bike start and run much nicer. This bike has only been rode to motorcycle shows locally and very sparingly.Runs perfect with no issues. The color on this bike is called Olympic Gold which the paint on this bike has been painstakingly repeated and cleared three times to get the exact match. The tank color style with the single silver stripe is the most sought after style versus the scalloped design which was also offered at the time.Good luck on finding a nicer 69 Bonneville for what I am offering in the condition it presently is in.

Fantastically original and untouched, but a superb rider! 1970 Triumph Tiger TR6R Frame no. TR6R PD31770 Engine no. PD31770 TR6R 1970 is considered a pivotal year for Triumph motorcycle design. It was the last year of what many considered some of greatest motorcycles ever made. Although it lies in the shadow if its big sister, the Bonneville, the 1970 TR6 is probably one of the most rider-friendly and versatile Triumphs made in the modern era. In 1970, Triumph offered two variants of the TR6 - the C model, primarily intended for dual purpose riding - and the R model for every day street and touring use. The 1970 650 single carburetor twins reached the zenith of pre oil-in-frame development with features such as a progressive and powerful dual leading shoe front brake, light throttle operation and a change to an American SAE thread form on all fasteners. This change alone greatly assisted dealers and owners alike in servicing the motorcycle. Other changes specific to this year include a revised rear passenger grab rail, and a significantly improved engine breathing system. 1970 was the only year to incorporate a pair of removable front engine mounting plates that made engine removal and installation an easy task. The TR6 of this year also features a fuel tank with a larger capacity than the Bonneville to further enhance its touring capability. In the performance department, the TR6 will run only a few miles an hour shy of the Bonneville's top speed, acceleration is on an almost even par easily through third gear and fuel economy is exceptional with 60+ miles per gallon not unheard of. The timeless styling of this motorcycle, its throaty exhaust note and overall reliability of a single carb configuration, make this a very rideable and desirable collector motorcycle. The zenith of the collector grade motorcycle is an unrestored bike, still in its original paint. And here is an excellent example. Owned from new by a local Southern California gentleman, the bike, now showing 22,400 miles, was his prized possession. Completely original and untouched, the bike oozes perfectly consistent patina and feels exquisite. This highly collectible, numbers matching TR6 dates from this pinnacle year of 1970, built in November of 1969. It is absolutely original, in Spring Gold with black stripe and original Tiger sticker. The colors are repeated on the striped fenders, also original to the bike. It features is original California black license plate, and is currently registered. This survivor runs perfectly and has just undergone an extensive service and sympathetic mechanical restoration by a true marque expert, at considerable cost, including clutch, engine overhaul, brakes, cables, fork rebuild, etc. When I say this is a 1-2 kick bike, I am not saying it lightly. I rode it yesterday for the first time in 6 weeks and it fired up on the 2nd kick. It rides flawlessly. Brakes and suspension feel like a bike should. It is fantastic and I would honestly ride it anywhere. It starts easily and idles smoothly, and has good, responsive power. It shifts well through an excellent clutch. 99% of the hardware is original to the bike, and all cycle parts are original. I couldn’t bring myself to change the seat cover, even with the small tear, or footpeg rubbers, as they too have stood the test of over 45 years! It even has the original Manufacturers sticker on the frame. There are a few scratches and scuffs around the bike, to be expected on a 45 year old machine, which has never been restored, and a couple of dings in the top of the tank. The side panel is not original to the bike, but is about the only part I can find that isn’t. The original wiring harness is still in place for the most part and all electrical works as it should. Thousands of 650cc Triumphs of all different models were produced and delivered worldwide, and I can’t imagine too many still exist, falling to scrap yards and the like. Many of the survivors have been customized or restored. With today's rising interest in barn finds and other unrestored motorcycles, this very special time capsule Tiger offers a buyer the chance to own one of Triumph's most collectable street machines, knowing that the investment is sound.

1967 Triumph Bonneville Engine Number: 6T 01558 Frame Number: 6T 01558 Triumphs may have been built in England but the American market was a prime driving force in the brand's development, especially the bump in displacement to 650cc for the company's iconic parallel-twin, introduced in 1938 as a 500. The wide-open U.S. landscape, as well as American riders' penchant for desert racing and drag contests, demanded more power and more speed. Announced in September of 1949, the 650 Thunderbird was Triumph's response. A spectacular launch stunt saw three Thunderbirds lap the banked Montlhéry circuit in France at over 90 mph for 500 miles, after which they each achieved a flying lap of 100 mph-plus and were then ridden back to the Meriden factory in England, underscoring that fact that reliability had not suffered for speed. From then until the introduction of the 750 triple in 1969, the 650 twin would be the hot choice in Triumph's lineup. In modified form it brought glory to the company on dragstrips, dirt-tracks and the Bonneville Salt Flats. On offer here is a great riding example of the model from 1957, export model for the U.S. market, featuring the higher compression pistons. Languishing in one collection after another for the last few years, it was recently re-commissioned with attention to all the usual places – engine, spark, carb, brakes, etc. – including a rebuild of the swing arm. The result is a pleasure to ride. She is easy to start, idles and runs well with good responsive power. Suspension is excellent with brand new Hagon shocks on the back,; brakes are excellent for an old British bike, clutch is smooth and progressive and the bike shifts gears with the precision of a BMW! Cosmetically, the bike is fair. The frame is too good to need restoration, with nice patina. The tank and fenders were treated to a moderately priced paint job, but look good from a few feet away. There’s a little chrome loss on the wheels, but not bad. The seat is new and the previous owner spent a lot of time getting it to sit lower than standard for a far better look. Tires are good, as are cables, etc. It leaks a little oil, but it is British. The bike is fresh from a tune-up from a local marque expert, Glory Motorworks and is ready to ride.

1957 Triumph 650cc Thunderbird Engine Number: 6T 01558 Frame Number: 6T 01558 Triumphs may have been built in England but the American market was a prime driving force in the brand's development, especially the bump in displacement to 650cc for the company's iconic parallel-twin, introduced in 1938 as a 500.
