THIS IS A RECENT BARN FIND, REALLY WAS FOUND IN A BARN HERE IN FLORIDA. BIKE LOOKS TO BE COMPLETLY ORIGINAL INCLUDING ALL THE GRAY CONTROL CABLES, THE GRIPS, AND THE BRIDGESTONE TRAIL WING TIRES. THIS IS THE RAREST COLOR "CANDY TOPAZ ORANGE". WE HAD IT COMPLETLY SERVICED BY A HONDA CERTIFIED TECH. AND BIKE STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS AND RIDES LIKE IT SHOULD. THE WORK THAT WAS PERFORMED WAS: COMPLETE CARB OVERHAUL WITH NEW CARB KITS, NEW INTAKE MANIFOLD O-RINGS, NEW AIR FILTERS, GAS TANK PETCOCK REBUILD WITH NOS HONDA PARTS, ALL NEW FUEL LINES, GAS TANK HAS BEEN SEALED, HAS NEW POINTS, PLUGS, CONDENSER AND TIMING SET, VALVES AND CAM CHAIN ADJUSTED, OIL FILTER CUP STRAINER CLEANED OUT AND NEW OIL INSTALLED, CABLES LUBED, CLUTCH GREASED AND ADJUSTED, NEW BATTERY INSTALLED, SPOKES CHECKED, CHAIN LUBED AND ADJUSTED, AND SOME OTHER ITEMS DONE. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT BIKE FOR A RESTORATION OR RIDE AS IS. THE PAINT IS THE ORIGINAL COLOR BUT IS FADED, THE ORIGINAL SEAT HAS ONE RIPPED PART, HAS A PATCH OVER IT, CAN'T SEE ANY DAMAGE, HOLES OR RUST AREAS ON THE MUFFLER, THE FORK TUBES AND RIMS ARE RUST FREE, BUT THERE IS RUST ON OTHER PARTS OF THE CHROME AREAS. Very nice condition 1970 Honda SL175 enduro - All Original Condition- Only 1874 miles Last year it had a full tune-up w carb clean oil plugs valves timing muffler repaired etc.. also had -new inner tubes installed in the excellent condition Original tires. Ran and drove perfect- started easy - carburated smoothly- shifted easy - RODE GREAT! I just pulled it out This Year and its hard to start and runs w/ choke on then dies---pretty sure badgas and carbs are gummied up again? There is ZERO RUST IINSIDE OF GAS TANK its Bright clean Metal inside and Looks new! (see pix) SOLD AS-IS - no warranty - you FIX- there is the 45 year old unused toolkit still under the seat! 1st Generation Honda CT70 KO 3 speed which is perfect for using behind the camper to make runs to the store and taking off road. True 3 stage Candy Paint was applied after the frame was Soda Blasted to remove paint and 40 + years of grime. The rear shocks are CHP with stronger springs and the front lower forks are new and have been reworked. The bike is newly restored with 8 miles on the rebuild. Original speedo just turned 4050 but will change daily. The cases were split and anything needed was replaced. New clutch, seals and gaskets are always used. New top end, piston, rings, jug and head with a new carburetor and Air Box installed. The bike has been properly broke in and is ready to ride. New wiring harness, Honda key switch (2 keys) , sealed battery along with a rebuilt stator. The seat, spark guard, controls, levers and cables are all new and are top quality CHP items. New fenders, correct 4.00 x 10 Trails Tires with Heavy Duty Tubes. New brakes front and rear with polished backing plates. New handlebars that fold down for easy loading. New headlight along with all new bulbs in speedo and taillight. Chain and sprockets have been replaced.
