I have a classic 1971 Honda CB100 for sale. This has been a great bike for me but its time to move on to something else. I have only put OEM and NOS parts on the bike except for the carburetor. However, I kept the original just in case. I have owned several of these CB100s and small displacement motorcycles like it, and I have done all the repair work myself. This bike runs great and is used as a commuter to work on occasion. This bike has low miles and has only had one other owner beside myself since the 70s! This bike is road ready with modern tires, new tubes, new tuned carburetor, and filter. These bikes are comfortable at 45mph but can do 55mph flat,... 60mph with a good wind at your back! All these small displacements like cb 125 200 350 are easy to work on and easy to ride.Pick up only, unless you are very close to Kalamazoo MI.

1971 Honda CB100. With clear Idaho title. This bike runs and rides awesome! It starts on the first kick. This is a honest, solid little cruiser. It has brand new tires, and recovered seat. I just recently changed the oil. Everything works as it should with the exception of the horn. The previous owner had the horn hooked up on a toggle switch because the horn button is missing. I will include a brand new OEM left control assembly for my cost of $30.00 if you so desire. Overall, this bike is in good shape for its age. It does have some scratches and dents in the tank. The fuel system was completely cleaned out by me. This little bike with do 60+ MPH and get crazy good gas mileage doing it. The 5 speed transmission functions and shifts as it should. The side covers are replacements. but still look good and proper on the bike. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me 208-316-0188 (I will only answer phone calls 6am to 11pm. No text messages please) or message through ebay. The $50.00 deposit is non-refundable if you decide to have "buyers remorse." I will assist with shipping and or delivery only after the bike is paid in full for the final auction price. I am willing to assist in any reasonable way I can with shipping or delivery for a fee. (Such as: If the bike needs to be transported to a certain location for shipping and placed on a pallet, I will ask you to pay for fuel, packing and the pallet)The buyer is responsible for shipping fees. Local pick up is welcome.

~ 1971 CB500 Four K0 Super Sport ~ Frame/VIN# 1002857 Meaning it was made 2857th of the first year of production of the CB500 Four. Engine # 1003111 Engine was made 3111th...These are "matching" VIN/Engine #s for Honda in 1971. Comes with another tank and side covers, the 1971 brown version (which this bike was off the production line). The brown tank is in similar condition, looks new with the one dent being on top and in a nice easy spot to repair. I will also include a very nice perfectly clean DENT FREE TANK that has been painted in the cafe racer style. Thats three tanks, so no worries on what to wear to the party. I will post photos of the other tanks and side covers as well as a video in the next 2 days. The mileage is unknown because the one of the few missing parts when purchased was the Speedometer. After 1.5 years of restoring this machine along side 3 other cb500/cb550s with varied mileage, with first hand knowledge of the engine internals, their comparisons revealed a good estimate of this here beauty's mileage to be around 8-12K. A look inside the top end and the cylinders, showed the stock pistons and rings all were in good condition. The tiny stamped markings on the rings were still clearly visible which points indicates lower mileage. While in the top end I cleaned ALL the carbon build up on every part. It looks new inside. Valves and Seats were lapped until smooth, they are air tight now, and the # 3 exhaust valve was replaced. All new valve guide seals were then installed. Then to give the bike a HUGE BOOST in power the legendary CB650 camshaft swap was performed. The difference this upgrade makes is just plain awesome. This 45 year old machine has lots of power with rebuilt top end, performance cam, and its a lot lighter than stock with the 4 into 1 pipes... short muffler in place of the long and weighty 4 into 4 pipes took lots of lbs off her. Carbs have been ultrasonic cleaned, and freshly rebuilt with new o-rings and gaskets. The bowls and slide covers have all been polished. New tygon fuel lines. New Stainless Steel Hex screws are in place of the old float bowl screws which makes rejetting much easier. Speaking of rejetting, the carbs are still 100% stock with 40 pilot jets and 100 main jets. She runs very strong especially at low and middle rmps, but shes loosing a little "umph" at wide open throttle. With the uni foam air filter and 4 into 1 exhaust I'd recommend 110s for the mains, the pilots should be just fine. 4 new 110 main jets cost less than $20. Needle clip is also in the stock position. As far as tuning the carbs, you can change both the needle clip position and main jets with a screwdriver and hex key...and most importantly without the laborious task of removing the carburetors. I am willing to install any new jets if the buyer has them sent to my address. New cylinder base gasketNew Head gasketNew oil passage o-rings and 6 new rubber pucks under the valve coverNew valve cover seal8 New intake manifold o-ringsNew spark plugsNew Spark Plug CapsNew Uni Hi-Flow Air FilterNew rocker cam cover o ringsNew tappet cover o ringsNew points cover gasketNew Stator Cover "HONDA" PlateNew Stator cover gasketFront forks disassembled, cleaned, inspected and rebuild with new sealsNew OEM front Fork BootsWheel bearings are smoothNew front brake master cylinderFront brake caliper assembly disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt with new seal.New bronze motocross racing (lightweight) handle bars ($130)New GripsNew rear Tank mount rubberNew batterySpeedo, tach and headlight bucket have been sanded and repainted with 2 stage urethane satin black and clear coated.Bike comes with the original 1971 OEM owners manuel and tool kitAlso the original handlebars for returning back to stock if desired Not-perfect-by-any-means ListOriginal seat cover looks really good, there are one or 2 tiny pin holes in the 45 year old vinyl. Front fender has some little scratchy-dings and some pitting in the chrome. Rear fender looks better but still has tiny pits that you can see when you get your face up close. Tachometer isnt hooked up right now due to the cb650 cam upgrade. The worm gear on the cb650 cam doesn't play nice with the stock 500 tach gear, so it required the removal of the cb500 tach gear. The cb650 tach gear will need to be installed before the tach will work. As of now the hole for the tach gear is capped. Otherwise, I have the original camshaft and tacho gear gingerly tucked away in a box for the winner. For the over all aesthetics of this resto-mod build I removed the front blinkers, but I can install them no problem at the wish of the winner. Currently the left tank emblem is off to show the tank dent. I will install for winner of auction.Tank is incredible to look at except for the unfortunate crease-like dent on the left side. Its a weird dent because despite its size, it sorta hides itself...especially when shes on the side stand. Neutral can be a little stiff at times, NOT TERRIBLE AT ALL came this way stock in 1971, honda later issued a parts fix for this in a 1972-3 bulletin. Rear brake arm needs a longer shaft to mount to. I will fix before winner picks up. I have a video of a walk around and drive off that will be posted in a link below in a couple of days. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! Bike has been cleaned up from bottom to top. I have owned it for two years and went through the entire bike to have it running perfect. New:TiresBrake CalipersBarsClutch CableThrottle CableCleaned/rejetted carbsBattery Spark Plugs Lots of adjustments and cleaning done on this bike. Kick start and electric start. Everything is Honda except the seat cover which is the one and only downfall of this bike and even at that its just a rip and needs to be recovered. Only reason I'm selling the bike is to buy a 1970s f100 so if you have one of those I'd be happy to trade

1971 Honda CB350, RETRO - Engine: 324cc air-cooled OHC parallel twin, 64mm x 50.6mm bore and stroke Claimed power: 33hp @ 9,500rpm Top speed: 100mph Weight: 346lb (157kg) Fuel capacity/MPG: 2.4gal/45-50mpg Price then/now: $700/$1,500-$4,000 Honda might not have been the first motorcycle maker to market a high-pipe 2-cylinder scrambler, but it was probably the most successful. Many manufacturers had traveled down the scrambler-style street-oriented route before Honda, including BSA and Triumph. None of them, though, were as successful as Honda and their CL350 model, and according to Honda restoration guru Charlie O?Hanlon, none of them have the same cachet. They were built to be ridden, they were built to be reliable, and they were built for people to have fun on them. Honda broke open the American market for small, rider-friendly motorcycles in 1959 when they established their import business in LA. Prior to Honda, many of the motorcycles being ridden on the streets and in the dirt in the U.S. were heavy American-built V-twins. Lighter British iron was more sporting, but still featured relatively crude production qualities.

This is a custom 1971 Honda CB350 Cafe Racer. Many, many hours of work have gone into the build of this Cafe Racer. We started with a good running bone stock 71 CB350 and molded it into this cool retro cafe. We removed many of the unnecessary items to reduce weight. We started with a good running bike, but the engine had a few minor oil leaks. So we disassembled the top end, inspected and measured the cylinder bores, pistons, and rings, and found all to be in excellent condition. The valves were cleaned and checked for leaks. The external engine covers were glass bead blasted and clear coated. Once cleaned and prepped, the engine was reassembled with all new gaskets, o-rings, and oil seals. The lower end oil seals were also replaced. The carburetors were inspected, and reassembled with new o-rings and new brass floats. This engine runs great. Once the engine assembly was completed, it was on to the chassis fabrication. Many hours were put into the fabrication of the chassis on this bike. All unnecessary frame brackets and tabs were removed. Rear set controls were installed. A new Lithium featherweight battery was used in place of the original heavy lead acid battery. (these lithium batteries are amazing). Clip on style handlebars were added, with control switch wiring ran internal just as original. Custom mount for speedometer. side-mount license plate bracket. Front fender was trimmed down for a more racer look. Front forks were rebuilt with new oil seals. Upper fork covers removed to expose the cool outside fork springs used on these early CB's. The bike was assembled with brand new vintage tread tires front & rear. Once all the body work was prepped and ready, this beautiful red paint was applied with white stripe. In our huge parts stash, we found this very cool retro 2 into 1 exhaust header made by Hooker Headers. Hooker probably hasn't made one of these since the mid-70's. It really gives the bike a great sound. New Uni pod air filters installed, carbs properly adjusted and jetted to match the intake and exhaust setup. All fab and assembly work done in house by our highly experienced vintage bike mechanics. This bike is an absolute blast to ride. It always draws a crowd and plenty of "thumbs-ups" when going down the road or at a stop light (plenty of those around here). The bike starts easily and sounds great through the classic Hooker header. I hope the new owner will enjoy the bike as much as we have enjoyed building it. This Motor Cycle was used as a bar decoration for the past 34 years and was driven very little due to its owner having a heart attack. The owner recently passed away and the contents of his bar are being sold. I am in charge of selling many of the items. I put a new battery in it and changed the oil and gas. The bike that has literally not been started in over 34 year started right up within seconds. I drove it around my neighborhood went through the gears it is 100% ready for the road except you may need to grease up the throttle cable as it was kinda sticky. Would make a great reliable daily rider for a beginner and or anyone who does not want to spend a lot of money on a bike. Could also be a great low miles specimen for a collector. Buy this bike its ready to put on the road no headaches or extra money needed to get it ready for the road no repairs needed. If you have any questions please ask. I would be willing to ship the bike but you are responsible for all shipping requirements and charges including pickup in Minetto, NY 13115.
