Here is a barn find nice little Honda SL70 it is complete i have the original title and owners manual for this bike. Tank does have some surface rust inside but looks to be able to clean up nice. This bike is not running right now but won't take much to get it running i bought it from the original owner. This bike is not stuck and does have spark. Non-running 1972 Honda SL70 with clear Idaho title. It is titled as a 1972. Frame is straight, engine turns over and has good compression (45 lbs. Cold and valves not adjusted). I was told by the person I bought it from that it did fire but would not run properly. According to him the timing was set 180 degrees out after the head was put back on. The rims, hubs and spokes all look to be in good shape. I am selling this as is with everything on the bike that you see in the pictures. The frame appears to be straight with no dents or bends. Throttle and carburetor move freely. The clutch moves freely. The fenders are in great condition. The tank needs a good cleaning as it is dark and has dried fuel. The tank appears to be solid with no rust through. Engine number CT70HE046065 I have some other SL70 parts listedas well. Perfect restoration project or use the frame for your SL70 that doesn't have a title. Mileage is unknown due to it not having a speedometer. Ebay requires a mileage be entered. That is why it is shown to have 9999 miles. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up. I will assist with shipping and or deliver if you are within a reasonable distance and for a fee. I will only allow shipping or pick up after this is paid in full for the final auction price. This is to prevent beating me up on the price at pick up. This would make a great bike for restoration as it looks to be all original and only has 1277 miles on it. There are no dents in the tank and no rips in the seat. It starts and runs, but will probably need a good carb cleaning. I have an extra aftermarket carb that will come with it. 1970 Honda CT70 Candy Gold 3 speed semi-automatic with matching numbers engine.Completely restored to stock specifications in as new condition.True three stage candy urethane paint system with 2-3 coats coverage of primer, base coat, candy coat and clear coat. Absolutely gorgeous paint work. Main frame decals are new OEMComplete (cases split) top to bottom engine rebuild. Correct AT7B carburetor rebuilt with new OEM kit and float valve.All OEM parts with the exception of the new seat, control cables, dimmer switch, horn button, wire harness, sealed battery and wheel bearings. Brand new complete OEM exhaust system. All shields and related hardware. Both the front/rear brake shoes are OEM even front/rear sprockets (15/38) are brand new OEM (Chain is HD D.I.D). Air cleaner assembly, headlight, head light bucket, horn, correct tail light lens, chain guard and kick start lever all new OEM.ALL chrome has been redone. Original parts including handlebars, front/rear fenders, skid plate and spark plug guard, front fork legs, tail light bracket, brake pedal assembly, rear shock springs, gear shift lever and also the new kick start lever.Wheels, front/rear brake drums, footpeg/kickstand assembly, seat bracket, gas tank bracket, battery box and seat latch and lever tips have all been glass bead blasted and powder coated which means excellent durability and easy clean up.
