Up for sale is a 1973 Kawasaki H2 750 triple. The first two photos are basically the same, one was taken in the morning sun and one in the evening in lower light so you can see how nice the bike actually shows. This bike comes with a clear title in previous owners name, I never changed it over. This is a matching number bike per Kawasaki specs, H2F30197 and H2E30418. This bike has had tons of work done to it over the last year. This is not a perfect concours restoration but it is very nice. The bike has new paint with RB decals that were cleared in, new top end with new pistons, new clutch, new front and rear brakes, rebuilt carbs, new turn signals on the short stems, new headlight bucket with new lamp, NOS fuel cap, new rear grab bar, new front foot peg rubber, new rear foot pegs, new grips, new air box 3 into 1 carb boot and snorkel, rebuilt oil injector, new mirrors, new side cover emblems, new seat trims, new chain guard, new rear brake switch, new plugs and plug wires, new tires and new controls on both the right and left side. The bike runs and idles but with that being said I live at altitude in Colorado so you may end up re-jetting for where you live. This bike has the original OEM pipes and they are nice for originals but not perfect, there are some scrapes and dings here and there, all of the baffles are in place and the chrome is shiny. The bars are original with lead ends and have some pitting on them. The seat is the original pan but was recovered years ago and not the OEM cover. The front fender has a few dings and a spot of rash at the rear. The front forks have some pitting on them. The bike has the spark plug holder and the tool kit in the tail cowl, the tool kit is not original. I believe that the centerstand is off of a late (74 or 75) Kawasaki H2 so it really does not work properly. I left it on so the new owner could sell it to offset the cost of a proper early stand. Overall this is a great bike with a very reasonable reserve. Don't miss a great opportunity to own a piece of history while you can still find one. Please email or call Brian at Vintage Connection (303-549-6225) with any questions before you purchase. I will agree to hold the bike for a few weeks after the sale end so shipping arrangements can be made, if you need longer please contact me first so we can work something out. I will not ship the bike, I am not a shipper. Shipping and all associated costs are at buyer expense. Depending on where the bike is going I may be able to give a referral for a shipper if needed. I require a $250 deposit at sale end to hold the bike and the balance to be paid by bank wire transfer within 4 days of sale end or the bike will be relisted and sold again. If you have less than 10 positive feedback score please contact me with your good intentions before you bid or your bid will be cancelled. Thank you.

Over several years I have had the pleasure to own, restore and be a avid collector of all things 1973 Kawasaki Z1. To date I have had at least 10 (ten) 1973 models that have passed through my garage doors and 4 remain. Two original bikes and two in the early state of restoration, both of which were decent running largely original bikes prior to dismantling. In addition, I have compiled a large assortment of NOS, and quality used parts for the 1973 model. A large number of these parts from the dismantled bikes as well as extras have been re-chromed, re-zinc plated, and or powder-coated in preparation of my use in the restoration process. There are of course some (very little) new and aftermarket parts as well but on whole I would say 99% are OEM Kawasaki. There is essentially with the exception of a rear wheel, and exhausts nearly every part necessary to complete both restorations. In addition, there are probably enough desirable extra parts to offset much of the cost of the parts one would need to acquire. See link below to see hi-res photos of the bikes and inventory of parts http://s83.photobucket.com/user/arcaneman/library/2Z1Parts? No offers will be excepted for individual parts or either bike alone. Winner takes ALL or NONE. I have included multiple views of all parts I only posted 24 of nearly 100 photos. We are thrilled to offer such a unique and rare piece of motorcycle history. If you’ve got a Triumph-sized hole in your collection and want something pretty wild and very cool, this might fit the bill. The Triumph Hurricane X75 was a bit of a mongrel from the word go. Originally a BSA design, with very sleepy, Triumph Bonneville-esque style, the honchos felt it was way too conservative for American tastes. Famous designer Craig Vetter was tasked with a stylistic redo, and the resulting bike was different, to say the least, with a very 60’s chopper style and a distinctive triple exhaust slung along the right side of the bike. When BSA went under, 1,200 engines were put aside and the bike was rebranded as a Triumph.Three cylinder motorcycles in general are pretty neat sounding machines. Not quite as brutal as a thumping twin or single, not as smooth or refined as a four [or six!], triples make a very raw, iron-fist-in-a-velvet-glove kind of roar. Vetter was commissioned by BSA's US distributor to customise the BSA Rocket 3 to appeal more to American tastes. When, in 1968, the new BSA Rocket 3/Triumph Trident triples were shown to the American BSA-Triumph management, they were underwhelmed. They knew Honda had an important bike (the CB750) coming along, and they felt the triple's price of $1800 [4] was too high and that technical details (like vertically-split crankcases and pushrod ohv valve train) were far from "cutting edge". However, they acknowledged that the bike was fast, and a sales team led by BSA Vice-President Don Brown decided to launch the bike by using a Rocket-3 to set some records at Daytona, records which were broken in 1971 by the Kawasaki Z1. Brown felt that the BSA/Triumph triples needed a different look to succeed in the USA, and he engaged designer Craig Vetter to give the BSA A75 a customised face-lift, with a brief to make it "sleeker and more balanced". (Brown revealed the Vetter project to Peter Thornton, President of BSA/Triumph North America, but as Brown's initiative had not been authorised by BSA, Vetter had problems being paid, waiting two years for his fee). Vetter created the Triumph Hurricane in the summer of 1969,[5] and in October 1969 he unveiled the prototype with "BSA" on the tank as the new ‘Rocket Three’.[6] Thornton and the American officials were impressed, and Vetter's bike was then sent to the UK, but the bike arrived in England just as the BSA marque was about to be ended. At BSA-Triumph's design facility at Umberslade Hall, the design was seen as too "trendy" by chief designer Bert Hopwood; but after very positive public reaction to the design when it appeared on the front of US magazine Cycle World in October 1970, the UK managers changed their minds. They realised they had a large stock of obsolete BSA Rocket-3 parts that could now be turned into a premium-priced motorcycle. Engineer Steve Mettam was given the job of supervising production for the 1972/3 season; and the Vetter BSA Rocket3 became the Triumph X75 Hurricane. 1,183 engines were put aside for X75 production. However, BSA was facing bankruptcy and the design went into a limited production run of 1200 as the Triumph X-75 Hurricane in 1972. Production stopped in 1973 after the X-75 was unable to meet new American noise standards. Here are the specs: 1973 Triumph Hurricane X75Years produced: 1973 Number produced: 1,172Claimed power: 58hp @ 7,250rpmTop speed: 114mph (period test)Engine type: 741cc air-cooled, OHV inline tripleWeight (dry): 458lbMPG: 40-45Price then: $2,295 Thank you for looking, please feel free to ask any questions. Kawasaki H2 750cc triple Café Racer / Resto-mod in spectacular fully-restored condition. Please note: Alabama does not issue Titles for pre-1975 bikes. However, eBay does not offer this as an option. This bike will be sold with a current AL Registration document in my name, with the tag (good until May 2015) plus a Bill of Sale, which may be notarized if required. Therefore, there is NO actual Title. NO TITLE! Most States will accept this situation, some may not. Please check carefully and satisfy yourself that you can register the bike with the documents offered before bidding. This unique bike was built about 3 years ago to a very high standard. The frame (H2F30336), a stock, unmodified item retaining all original lugs, brackets and fittings, was professionally blasted and powder-coated. The front suspension, rear swing arm, wheel and brakes are carefully-modified Yamaha FZR6 items. Rear shocks are new Red Wing KM-X 320 units. Both tires are almost new - Bridgestone Battlax BT45R, 150/70-18 rear and 120/70-17 front. The motor (H2E04208) was fully rebuilt from the the crank up: new seals, bearings, re-bored with new forged Wiseco +030" pistons and rings, new Mikuni carburetors with foam air cleaners. Engine cases were silver painted and clear-coated; still in very nice condition except for a small peeling area on the clutch cover. Oil pump and auto-lube system have been removed and the bike runs on 40:1 racing two-stroke oil. Exhaust is a brushed steel Fast-by-Gast system, with red anodized exhaust ports. The paint was professionally applied, using an RB decals kit under clear-coat. It is virtually flawless, with a very small scratch on the upper right hand side of the tank. (Above the stripe roughly in line with the first 'K' of Kawasaki). It's hard to photograph clearly and only visible in when viewed from a certain direction. There is also a single chip on the tail fairing, where the chrome trim strip would normally cover it. Please note: in one or two pictures, reflections from the ground or vehicles nearby may look like imperfections in the paint. I've taken multiple photos so that you can see the flawless quality of the paint.). A Pingle high-flow racing petcock (without reserve) is fitted along with new file lines and fittings. The seat is from Corbin, using an original stock H2 seat and mounting hardware. A digital instrument cluster from Vapor is fitted; the ignition switch has been re-located under the seat. All wiring is new, as is the battery. The handlebars are adjustable Tommaselli items with Magura levers and throttle. Yamaha switchgear controls the lights and turn signals. All cables and stainless-steel brake lines are of course new. The master cylinder has slight peeling to the black paint on the body. Turn signals are miniature LED items; the original Kawasaki headlamp and tail light are fitted. The bike was assembled with mostly new, high-quality hardware and many smaller items (ignition modules, intake manifolds, cables, brake pads, chain, sprockets) are also new. I've tried to show everything clearly in the pictures; please look carefully and ask any questions if you're unsure. The bike has the original side stand, but no center stand is fitted. The bike fires up with one or two kicks and idles smoothly with no mechanical noise. It is a light, fast and brutal bike to ride; best on an open road but hard work around town. Most of my riding these days is running short errands around town, and I simply don't use this bike enough. Overall, it needs very little to be a truly spectacular example. Although fully rebuilt, please remember that this is a 41 year-old bike that requires careful maintenance and some mechanical ability to keep it in this condition. The bike was built with the intention that it could be returned to stock condition if desired, by re-installing a complete original front end and rear swing arm assemblies. Most of the parts required can be easily sourced through eBay or specialist Kawasaki parts suppliers. Mileage: the mileage quoted is the estimated miles since restoration. A new 'Vapor' digital display (similar in function to the Moto Gadget) was fitted recently, which features a tachometer, speedometer and various trip functions, temperature and hours running time. I have no idea what mileage the bike has covered since 1973. Reserve Price: the reserve will not be disclosed, in fairness to all bidders. It is set at a very reasonable level, in my opinion. Once the reserve has been reached, the auction will run to the end. Prior to the reserve being met, I reserve the right to end the auction or accept any Buy-it-Now offer at my discretion. Delivery Options: it is the purchaser's responsibility to get shipping quotations and make all necessary arrangements. Please use my ZIP 36607 (domestic address) for estimating costs. I will normally be available to help with loading, given reasonable notice and subject to my work schedule. The bike will be fully insured and carefully stored until handed over to the shipper. The bike must be picked up within 30 days of the auction end, unless you have contacted me beforehand to make alternative arrangements. After 30 days, it will be considered an Abandoned Purchase and alternative arrangements made. I will make every effort to help you - please allow a reasonable time for me to reply. If you are planning to export the bike, I may be able to deliver to a local shipper for a small additional cost, but cannot offer crating or export documentation services. Free Delivery to Barber Vintage Festival! I will be attending the Barber Vintage Festival on 10th and 11th October and offer free delivery and collection at this event. The bike must be fully paid for within 7 days of the auction close and you must be able to collect the bike in person from the Swap Meet area no later than noon on Saturday 11th October. Questions? Please let me know if you have any questions or would like any additional information or photographs. I will do my best to respond quickly, but please do not wait until 30 minutes before auction end to ask…! Thank you and good luck with your bidding!

Up for sale is another Bexton Moto build. I wanted to build a bike that looked like the 1973 Nixon and Erv Kanemoto Kawasaki 750cc H2R and I decided to combine the build with my affinity for 300 Ninjas. So I set out to create a replica of the original bike as closely as I could using a 2014 Kawasaki EX300 Ninja (with ABS). This bike is the result. The 300 Ninja that I used as the base for this build came to me with only 54 miles on the clock, it now has about 400 miles on it. It was crashed, the sub frame was bent and all the fairings were destroyed. It has a salvage title as a result.I cut off the sub frame, straightened it out and modified it to suit the H2 replica seat. I stripped it down to the frame, made sure it was all dead straight and then powder coated it in flat black. The swing arm and all the brackets, of which there are more than 30 that are custom made, were also powder coated. This bike is very small and the clip-ons are quite low so if you are over 6 feet you will most likely be cramped riding it. I am 5’11 and it is a doable, but a tight fit for me. I have taken it on a ride of over an hour without any issues though.Below is the build list.2014 Kawasaki EX300 Ninja ABS2006 Kawasaki ZXR6 Forks, triple clamps and right brake caliper2005 Suzuki GSXR rear shockCopy of the original H2R seat in fiberglassModified Yamaha TZR250 race fairing upper and lower in fiberglassModified Kawasaki 300 Ninja gas tank with 18 gauge steel skirts welded onCustom sub frame to accommodate the narrow seatLED tail light and turn signal combinationKawasaki H2R replica front fender in fiberglassSingle headlight and led turn signals up frontYoshimura full race exhaustPower commanderK&N air filter inside stock air boxPaint is a replica of the original Gary Nixon bikeWheels were painted gold to match the upside down front fork and caliper Oil was changed at 300 miles with Castrol GTX 10w40 If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
