Up for auction is a Vintage 1974 Honda CB200 T. This bike is a restoration project with a clear title. The inside of the gas tank is very clean. The carbs will need to be cleaned up but I believe this bike will run if done. The motor turns over and has compression. There is surface corrosion and pitting on the metal finishes but the paint is pretty decent (especially the side covers). The start switch button has been rewired and the button changed into a toggle switch. One of the mufflers is rotted out. Please take a look at the large pictures to get a better idea of condition and email me if you have any questions or call 231-675-2552. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and payment. I will help a shipper load the bike on a truck(I can recommend a few good motorcycle carriers). $100 deposit to be made through paypal within 24 hours of the auction closing and full payment to be made within 10 days of auction closing. Final payment after deposit to be made with cash, bank wire transfer or cashiers check only ( cashiers checks must clear bank account before bike ships).

Im selling my 1974 Honda CB360. This bike is beautiful. I have owned it since April or May of last year. I have put maybe 300 miles on it. The man I bought it from was a motorcycle mechanic and bought this from the son of the original owner. Before I bought it from him, he stripped down the engine and replaced all seals and anything else needing repair. He also rebuilt the carbs. He replaced the chain with a gold one, put a new seat cover on and new battery. He re-chromed most of the chrome and painted the engine. Everything is original or made by honda. My story behind this bike is I won some money on a gameshow and my gift to myself was a motorcycle. I ended up buying a 1975 Honda Cb200T. That was my dream bike. Than this bike popped up and it was so nice looking I bought it on impulse. I even ended up buying a 3rd, 1970 CB450. Clearly not needing 3 I sold off the 450 after about 6 months. Now, due to financial reasons I need to sell another. The 200 was my dream bike and as I live and work on a dirt road, I tend to drive the 200 as the 360 is far too pretty to get super dirty all the time. So here it is for sale. What can I tell you about it? It's registered in my name and I have the clean title for it if course. I just paid the registration so it's good until July of 2015. The bike runs amazing, as it should. Starts right up, all electrical works. Battery is new, tires are good and oil, plugs and chain were always maintained by me. The only issues I can say the bike has are that the front fork seals leak. A mechanic told me this is due to the dirt on my road. When dirt gets in the seals they don't seal properly and leak. It still drives great but you will want to replace them eventually. Also, there is 1 spot of melted rubber from my boot on 1 pipe that could definitely be cleaned with some elbow grease. The tank is original paint and was never modified in any way though it does have some little knicks here and there but overall is nice. The inside of the tank could use a coat of sealant. It has the signs of a small anount of rust. As its the original tank and was never treated I would probably eventually do so to preserve the original paint and such. As I said I live on a dirt road so there's some dirt and such in some cracks and crevices but I spent 3 hours today cleaning it up so it looks pretty good. I am selling this for LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. I am located in Poway, CA. You are welcome to come look at it before you purchase. I can deliver if its not far from me in the San Diego area. Message me with questions or to make a cash offer (might give you a discount for cash)! Thanks for looking!

It has sometimes been described as the world’s first superbike. The Z1, along with Honda’s CB750 from 1969, introduced the four-cylinder, across the frame, disc-braked layout to a wider public. The Z1 was groundbreaking in that it combined many different elements which previous motorcycles had used into one performance package. The Z1 Kawasaki was developed in strict secrecy under the project name “New York Steak”. Some years previously, Kawasaki, already an established manufacturer of two-stroke motorcycles, decided to make a 750cc 4-cylinder 4-stroke sports motorcycle; they were beaten to the market place by the Honda CB750. Apparently, the bosses at Kawasaki disapproved and ordered their designers to come up with something better. The bike you see here is a ’73 Z1 900 that is in beautiful condition. We have the original retail buyers order and agreement that shows the bike was originally purchased June 18th, 1974 from Strathroy Small Engine. The bike retains its original engine (Z1E08169) as shown on the original bill of sale. The original paint on the bike is in near perfect condition with no imperfections to note. The emblems are all original and correct for the bike as well. Both stainless steel fenders look great with no damage or pitting showing to either. The seat looks great with no rips, tears or wear. The original 4 cylinder, 900 cc engine runs great and starts up with a push of the button. Brakes work as they should and the bike shifts with no problems. The motor is very clean with no scrapes to either side. The exhaust has some minor pitting as you can see in the photos. Here is you chance to own a Z1. VIN number is Z1F07973.
