Up for auction is a Vintage 1974 Honda CB200 T. This bike is a restoration project with a clear title. The inside of the gas tank is very clean. The carbs will need to be cleaned up but I believe this bike will run if done. The motor turns over and has compression. There is surface corrosion and pitting on the metal finishes but the paint is pretty decent (especially the side covers). The start switch button has been rewired and the button changed into a toggle switch. One of the mufflers is rotted out. runs good and faster,dependable and fires right up with electric start or kick start ,new battery, 2 carbs have been cleaned in chem dip, 4 new jets in carb, new carb bowl gasket, 2 new petcock gaskets,4 new O ring gaskets where carbs fasten to body, new seat cover, new gas cap lock.....The CB200 is infinitely more simple and inexpensive to tune and maintain than the bigger Hondas. Since the crankshaft arrangement has both pistons traveling up and down in unison, a single set of points serve both cylinders via a coil with two simultaneous-firing high tension leads. That means both spark plugs fire on the power stroke and on the exhaust stroke but that aspect is of no consequence. When the points are adjusted and timed to open at the correct crankshaft angle for the left cylinder, the right cylinder is also automatically timed. That means half the parts and half the labor in the most time consuming part of a tune-up. In comparing the CB200 to the automotive field, we would have to pick the Porsche 914. Like the 914, it is relatively expensive, has great brakes and just dreadful rear shocks. Its styling is distinctly "rounded-brick" and things are a bit cramped for large people. But, very unlike the 914, the CB200 is devoid of exotic (read expensive to service) quagmires like electronic fuel injection. The CB200 is the smallest bike that can be safely (and legally in many locations) ridden on freeways. And as the energy and pollution problems worsen, the CB200 may become the bike of the year. 1974 HONDA CB550 with only 10,000 miles 90% original but totally mechanically restored It has new Kenda tires, a brand new chain, new throttle and clutch cables, new battery, new fork seals and fork oil, new spark plugs and plug boots.. Freshly changed the oil 200 miles ago with new oil filter and rebuilt the carbs, also put on a set of black superbike bars and new grips. When I got it it had a charging problem, so I went through all the wiring and it ended up being the stator, so that was replaced and it works great now. The paint is original and it's really nice, but it is faded on the top and there are a few scratches (it's 40 years old!) but there are no dents! This bike literally needs nothing, come take it and ride!

1974 Honda CB750, runs and rides good. This is a great bike to ride and enjoy or to restore if desired, The odometer is showing 4K, but it is not the original and the true mileage is unknown. Again the bike starts runs and rides good, I have been riding it around the last 2 summers. The bike will need a new rear tire, as this one is worn. The paint on the tank is faded, there are some fins on the head that are bent or chipped, as can be seen in photos. The rims have some rust spots from sitting. 1974 Honda CB350F. Good old survivor bike with only 7200 miles. The good Only 7200 original miles. The bike starts, runs and rides good. New battery, carbs recently cleaned, Tires are older and have been on the bike a while, but show zero wear and tread looks like new. Fun zippy smooth running bike. The Bad NO TITLE. The bike will come with a BILL of SELL and a Indiana Police Check. NO TITLE. The left exhaust pipe has been repaired and is leaking. The paint on the left fork has some minor scratching where someone remove a old state inspection sticker, there is some scratching on the right side of the gas tank and a dent on top, all can bee seen in the pictures. The tank has surface rust inside, but appears solid with no problems. The choke has a return spring to keep it from closing.
