1974 Honda MR50 Elsinore A little History on the Honda MR50 Elsinore; It is an off road mini cycle made by Honda. It was manufactured in Japan by Honda and imported first to Australia and the United States in 1974 and continued to be available in the USA, Canada and Australia until production was discontinued in 1975. It was patterned after the CR125 and CR250 Elsinores. Like its big brothers it has spoke wheels, knobby tires, and plastic fenders. The engine was a 49 cc (3.0 cu in), air-cooled, two-stroke with 3 speed manual clutch transmission. Starting is a primary kick on the right side of the bike. The bike used conventional controls just like larger models. The shift pattern is neutral at the bottom and 3 up. Lubrication; premix at 25:1. The exhaust has a spark arrestor. This bike's mechanicals have been restored; with the engine and transmission rebuilt, new clutch, frame sandblasted and powder coated. Wheels have been professionally trued. It runs and shifts as it should. The fuel tank paint is in great original condition. This is a real beauty. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. We are offering a very special bike which fits the vintage rider who is looking for low seat height, strong usable power and a truly classic look. This 1974 Honda 350 XL has been built to race motocross, scrambles, tt or flat track, truly a very capable bike in any of those types of races. Front forks are early Honda Elsinore and rear shocks are Works Performance. We just installed new custom exhaust with megaphone silencer, new clutch, new whirl pull throttle, new Mikuni carb, new air cleaner, wide pegs and new kill button all in the last two months. The bike was raced once by a slow 65 year old Vet rider, me! I certainly didn't come close to using the bikes potential, but the fun factor was off the charts. The bike pulls like a tractor, shifts smooth and handles surprising well for her age and weight. The tank and frame have been painted all white to give it a Mugen Honda look. The seat is solid, wheels and spokes are strong and true and the tires are in great shape. It is very seldom we say, this but this is a true race ready bike, just gas her up, put on your numbers and enjoy!

This is a survivor. First year Honda XL-350 in original condition. They have become near impossible to find unmolested. It has knobbies that will need to be replaced for riding on the street, but I have been riding it on my property and road. The key is original and has been relocated to the bar mount, but can be moved to the original spot under the tank. Original paint, fenders, sidecovers, all in amazing shape for their age. The bike runs and rides great and just had a tuneup and oilchange. Great compression and power, no smoke or noise. There is a spot on the downpipe that needs to be repaired. This bike is a great rider as is and could be restored back to new paint if desired. I love the bike as is. Tank is clean inside and the carb was cleaned when tuned up recently. Payment by wire transfer or USPS money orders. Payment is to be made in 3 days, so sending overnight may be nessesary if you don't do a wire transfer. Shipping is totally the buyer's responsibility. Up for sale is my 1975 Honda MT250 Elsinore 2 stroke dirtbike. First off, it has NO TITLE and does NOT RUN. I tried bump starting it and it started to smoke out the pipe a bit. Good compression. It appears most of the parts are there besides the signals and taillight. The tank is spotless inside but does have some decent sized dents as seen, The seat has two small rips. Tires hold air. Rims are solid. Kick starter slips half the time which is a common issue. Right shock is bent. Petcock leaks. It will clean up nice with a little elbow grease. The engine rebuild was the “show quality rebuild” from “CTTrailbikes” which cost a little more than nine hundred dollars after freight which includes the following: Cases Cleaned, Seals, Gaskets, Oil Dipstick, Valve Covers, Clutch Plates, Main Clutch Springs, Exhaust/intake Seals, Piston and Rings, Wrist pin and Keepers, Cam Gear and Chain, Intake & Exhaust Valves, Valve Seats, Cut/Valves Lapped, Cylinder Bored and Painted, Re-plated Hardware, Right engine side cover repainted (Honda Cloud Silver), Rebuilt Stator assembly including NEW Coils, Condenser, Points. The frame and swing arm were bead blasted, primed and painted with Honda Black frame paint. Here is a very nice 1974 ST90 Honda that is 100 percent complete and original. This does have spark and compression it has been stored indoors all its life. This has a clear MN Title from the original owner i have the owners manual and also the original tool kit for this bike!! The tank does have some old gas which i drained and does have some surface rust inside but should easily be cleaned out. I don't hink this will take long for it to be a running bike it seems to shift nice and the tires i think will hold air they have fair tread and do have some cracking. This has all original decals and will clean up super nice. The seat does have some damage to the front part!! Thank u any questions please ask.
