I bought this 1974 Kawasaki 250 Enduro back in 1973. It has 2184 miles on it (all female ridden miles). NO JUMPS--NO DAREDEVIL. A bunch of us gals all bought motorcycles out of high school and just rode on the streets. This hasn't been started in probably 12 years. Been stored inside. All I did to take the pictures was to clean off the green parts so that you can see the vibrant color of the green. I know the seals and anything rubber is probably bad. I know the front tire is bad. I think the back one is still holding air. No, I didn't put stabilizer in the gas tank. (you always think you're going to ride it and you always forget). SORRY - so we know the gas tank is probably bad. I know about kicking it and sucking the 'crap' down into the engine and THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED. NO ONE HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO MESS WITH IT!! I always said I was going to get this going again, but kicking is not something that I can do at my age. I put this on a buy it now of a starting price. I want to sell this, so I will work with you as I do not really know the value of a one owner 1974 Kawasaki Enduro. I have researched and saw many different prices. I know you will have to do some work, but I also know the history of this motorcycle and know it will make someone a great bike for a winter project. I know the price that I want to accept, so text to the number below and 'make my day'. This motorcycle is located in Coffeyville Kansas 67337. I prefer you to pick it up rather than have it shipped. This is a sale, so there are no returns at all, so therefore you must pick it up. I have the title and keys. I am not a mechanic, but will try and answer any of your questions. six two zero two five two nine zero four eight to inquire. During normal hours. Payment is due in cash when you pickup. I will allow 6-10 days for you to pickup after your purchase. I am also going to list this for sale on other areas, so I reserve the right to delete this listing at any time.

Rarely listed 1974 Kawasaki F7. Nice shape for 42 years old ... some patina and minor wear and tear, but it's all there including the toolkit. I purchased the bike with intentions to restore it; but unfortunately, I have other diversions. Not a demanding restoration; however, a full restoration will require some cleaning / polishing, frame paintwork, and engine work. Engine starts pretty easy; however, it smokes a lot. Perfect project for someone that appreciates and enjoys working on classic bikes. Bike is located about 50 miles East of Atlanta (Athens area). Buyer is responsible for local pick-up or shipping if necessary.

For sale is an all original 1974 Kawasaki F11 250 enduro with 6,504 low miles and clear title. Bike has been sitting for about 4 years non running and will need some work to prepare it for running once again. bike is in good shape for original has good compression, good spark, will need the gas tank cleaned out as it has built up some surface rust that can be de-rusted and old gas drained to be used, nothing deeply rusted, carburetor will need to be cleaned out to be safe, throttle snaps back fine, gas tank has a slight indentation on the right side lower near seat, not anything major, paint on tank has some scratches and scuffs common on an endure but nothing major, paint is still pretty good just some slight fading. nice wheels, overall little rust on the bike, solid exhaust with no holes, The right hand throttle mechanism works fine but the inlet area for the throttle cable on the hand control is cracked and cable held in place by some electrical tape wound around it, it works and functions but right where the cable goes into the hand control has a small cracked chunk out of it, can be replaced but does function. Bike has held up well for an old enduro and looks great, This would be a good project to get running as an original paint survivor, always kept inside, too many projects need to let some go. Ask any questions, buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping, please contact after winning auction, payment required within 3 days. thanks

IF YOU CANNOT COMPLY WITH MY TERMS PLEASE DO NOT BID. For your consideration is this 1974 Kawasaki F9B Bighorn. 350 single cylinder, two stroke enduro. Sold as found. As with many older enduros the machine has-NO TITLE. Will include bill of sale. Title can easily be obtained through title service. This machine was last registered 1982. It shows fairly well albeit dirty. Original Candy good paint shows well. Appears all original and unmolested. 99% complete. Appears to be missing turn signals, rear pegs and speedometer. I'm sure this is a very low mileage machine because it still has the original tires with over 80% tread remaining. The engine kicks over but will probably need rings and cylinder hone because machine has not been run in over 30 years. Brakes work. Gas tank shows well. Has one dent which could probably be popped out by a skilled body man. Inside of gas tank looks excellent. Absolutely no rust. Exhaust complete and intact with no holes, only surface rust. Seat needs a cover as seen. Fenders straight. Chrome should clean up. Headlight and tail light intact. Includes tools as seen. Overall a good project worthy of restoration as these Bighorns are getting harder to find. Email with questions. Buyer to pays $500 deposit with 2 days of auctions end and balance due within 7 days. I PREFER NOT TO ACCEPT PAYPAL- IF BUYER USER PAYPAY PLEASE INCLUDE 3% TO COST TO COVER FEES. I accept many other forms of payment as indicated in listing. I can assist with loading at you or your shippers convenience from my commercial location 45410. I can store the motorcycle for up to 30-45 days with payment in full received within allotted time. Up for sale is my vintage 1974 Kawasaki KS125. I have a clear Florida title in hand. Just finished a painstaking, true to original, two year frame up restoration with a combination, repainting, refinishing, replacing OEM parts. Searching for parts was nearly impossible as the KS125 was only made for two years...1974-1975...VERY RARE...Whenever possible parts were replaced with NOS and when no longer available they were cleaned, blasted, re-chromed or repainted. The original Candy Lime Green paint was used and done professionally...the side cover is a brand new NOS part. The engine and carburetor were gone over thoroughly and cleaned repaired and tuned where necessary. I would rate the bike as a 8.0-9.0 on a scale of 1-10, because there are a few original un-retouched parts such as the tires and rims. The speedometer shows 750 miles as of today, however it may have a few more by the time it sells as its a blast to ride...everyone stops to ask about it... I have tried to include as many detail pictures, including a few "before"s, as possible however I can always add/send more by request. The entire restoration is documented in pictures. In the past I have restored and sold a 1962 Yamaha YDS-2, 1968 Kawasaki A7-SS Avenger, 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 LTD, 1976 Honda CR125 Elsinore and many others with great results so consider this bike with confidence. I do have it up for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to end this listing at any time. Please feel free to ask any questions...serious buyers only please...negative or no feedback, please contact me first. Buyer is responsible for shipping/picking up however I will help in any way I can. Thanks for your time and good luck!!!

I can help with reliable motorcycle transporters coast to coast. Call with questions 920-371-0494 1974 Kawasaki G4 Trail Boss 100cc Enduro that's street legal cause it has CLEAR TITLE which is pretty hard to find on these little bikes. Runs and drives after fresh carb cleaning. Was a barn find and been sitting for number of years before yesterday, and it looked like it. After a full day getting it running and a little cleaning there's a pretty nice bike underneath that grime. Front tube has slow leak and tires are not the best. Scratches on the tank and one little tiny dent and super clean inside. Original seat cover has no rips. Chrome looks good. Lights work. It will need petcock seal and some going over maybe fork seals and normal maint. stuff and new battery. Switches work good. Bike actually rips pretty good for little 100cc. Nice vintage enduro for your collection.

Here I have a very rare 1974 Kawasaki Enduro 90. I found this bike stored away in a barn, bought it and replaced the clutch, had to do a lot of carb and gas tank cleaning, new petcock, some gaskets, and a few other things. Has fresh oil and all that. It runs pretty good. I think with a new carb it would be perfect. It jut takes a little to warm it up, but then is fine. I do not have the title for it...but with my bill of sale and a police check you can get one easily. This bike must be picked up in Elberfeld, IN 47613. No shipping. Ask questions...or send me a number if you would like to talk.

I can help with most parts with fast reliable shippers. Call with questions 920-371-0494 1974 Kawasaki F7 175 Enduro with NO TITLE it might show up. I kinda caught the older couple original owners of guard showing up early. Last night they called from Aurora IL and I was just down the road so I thought why not. The wife was looking for it and swore they had it. I have heard that before. SO, IF IT DOES I WILL SEND IT. He understands the value. Now the bike was a cabin bike left in garage for last 12years and ran when they sold cabin. Strong compression with low miles and no leaks. The gas tank still has gas in it. So, its going to a good cleaning or maybe different tank at worst. Average $50. Other than that just typical carb cleaning and a fresh battery and it should run. Wheels look good, handle bars straight, switches good, and all the lights are there. I did not even clean it. everything looks right and nice. I thought that someone will want it for sure... It's cheap right...

1975 MAICO GS400– ALL ORIGINAL SURVIVOR! 134 ORIGINAL MILES, FRAME # 341016, ENGINE # K407112, TWO OWNERS FROM NEW, TITLE INCLUDED, RUNS AND RIDES 96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Maicowerk A.G. was a West German motorcycle manufacturer. Founded in 1926 by Ulrich Maistch as Maistch & Co, the company originally manufactured 98 and 123 cc Ilo two stroke engines. After Worls War II, they began producing their own unit construction two-stroke engines, selling complete motorcycles. Maico made a brief foray into the automobile business with their own line of microcars in the late 1950s. Maico have also made go kart engines. The road motorcycles were named after winds... 'Blizzard', 'Typhoon' etc., but the company was better known for its purpose-built Motocross and Enduro machines, and for its 'Maicoletta' motor scooter, both of which sold in higher numbers than the road motorcycles. Maico Racing Motorcycles: Maico motocross (MC) and enduro (GS) racing models proved very successful in both European and American competition throughout the 1970s. While lacking the financial capital and big money race-team backing like that of the Japanese factories of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki, Maico riders such as Adolf Weil, Ake Jonsson, and Willy Bauer proved to be a serious challenge to the Japanese factories and produced numerous top three finishes in the Motocross World Championships. The firm also experienced some success in Grand Prix road racing competitions with rider Borje Jansson winning three 125cc Grand Prix races between1972 and 1973. American publication Motocross Action called the 1981 Maico Mega 2 - 490cc the greatest open-class motocross bike of all time. The 1974.5 400cc and 440cc GP, 1978/79 250cc Magnum and 1981 490cc models along with any year 501cc motocross bike are also some of the most sought-after vintage MX and twin-shock motorcycles to this day. One of the visual modernizations of the Maico off-road motorcycles was the move from a "coffin" style tank in 1974 to a "teardrop" style tank in 1978/79 on bikes like the 250 Magnum. The bikes later moved to plastic tanks in 1980 with the Mega 490. One of the largest contributions to the world of motocross suspension technology came in the 1974 season when the Wheelsmith Motorcycles team in the USA and the Gunther Schier teams in Europe forward-mounted the rear shocks on the Maico factory-backed motorcycles, immediately increasing the travel and ability to trump the competition. This initiated a frantic effort on the part of factory teams and privateers alike; chopping up their frames in a desperate attempt to remain competitive. Maicowerk AG filed for bankruptcy in 1983, but continued to produce small numbers of motocross and enduro models (re-badged as M-Stars in the United States due to legal issues) up through 1986. Subsequent manufacturers have purchased the brand name and applied it to their own limited production motorcycles. Modern open-class dirt-bikes are still being produced under the Maico brandname. The ATK Intimidator dirt-bike (reportedly the most powerful production 2 stroke motorcycle available aside from Maico's own motorcycles) features a Maico motor. After the company went out of business in 1986, its assets were taken over by a Dutch company, but to this day retains a strong cult following. Many riders restore vintage Maicos for display or to take back to the track.
