Matching numbers 1974 850cc 5sp Moto Guzzi Eldorado front disc brake CHP Police Bike, plus second matching numbers 1974 front disc Eldo for parts or restoration. Bought the Police a few years ago through Cycle Garden, is in nice driver condition. Has some scratches on the left side cover, tank has chipped paint next to the filler cap (see photos). The tank was relined at one point and the liner wrinkled (see photo), but has remained stable. The real deal metal police saddlebags. When I bought it, it had chrome-plated carbs and starter. Installed a set of rebuilt VHBs, starter is still chromed. The plated carbs are included. Modified the bike to deal with the common leaking airbox issue--it now has individual K&N filters with velocity stacks. This setup runs out nice & no air/dust leaks, and doesn't show. The original airbox is included. The bike looks really good and runs very well. Clear title in my name. The second bike is a 1974 matching numbers front disc brake Eldo bought as a parts bike. However it is 99% complete, a very good full resto candidate all on its own. The engine turns over easily with what feels like good compression, carb slides are not stuck, clean bike. It is sold with a Bill of Sale only. Extra parts include an alternator upgrade kit, Deitz Turn Signals (one needs lens), a full stainless steel bolt upgrade kit (a ton of stainless bolts & screws), spare starter (motor good, solenoid contacts need cleaning), correct switches for lights, turn signals, & horn. Manufactured in April 1974, this El Dorado came with dual front disc brakes as it is one of the actual police bikes. The motor ha the updated cam design and big bore (955cc) pistons. The motor has been fully balanced and freshly tuned by Moe at Cycle Gardens. The frame (#062150) and motor (#VP062150) are matching. Features include a reproduction El Dorado solo seat, original, restored B&M Friction siren, and original Dietz Large spotlights. Complete museum quality restoration from tire to mirror and backed by a one year warranty from tire to tire.

Up for sale is my Beautifully Restored 1972 Moto Guzzi Eldorado 850. This bike received 1st place in it's class at the 2013 Donnie Smith Bike Show in St. Paul, MN. Every part of this bike was restored two years ago. It looks the same today. I have put on over 6000 miles in the last two years. The bike was built to ride. Everything works as it should. She runs and rides like new. I detail it regularly to keep it looking like new. The chrome, paint, engine, tranny, clutch, forks, wheels, and everything was completely tore down, rebuilt, re-plated, re-painted, polished and made like new or better. I'm talking every last nut, bolt, and piece of hardware. I spared no expense. Please...ask questions! Or come take a look! I love this bike and love to share her story. This bike started out as a civilian model and has been converted to look like a police bike. It sat for 30 plus years before the restoration. It has a civilian tank which is rust free inside.
