Im selling my 1974 Honda CB360. This bike is beautiful. I have owned it since April or May of last year. I have put maybe 300 miles on it. The man I bought it from was a motorcycle mechanic and bought this from the son of the original owner. Before I bought it from him, he stripped down the engine and replaced all seals and anything else needing repair. He also rebuilt the carbs. He replaced the chain with a gold one, put a new seat cover on and new battery. He re-chromed most of the chrome and painted the engine. Everything is original or made by honda. My story behind this bike is I won some money on a gameshow and my gift to myself was a motorcycle. I ended up buying a 1975 Honda Cb200T. That was my dream bike. Than this bike popped up and it was so nice looking I bought it on impulse. I even ended up buying a 3rd, 1970 CB450. Clearly not needing 3 I sold off the 450 after about 6 months. Now, due to financial reasons I need to sell another. The 200 was my dream bike and as I live and work on a dirt road, I tend to drive the 200 as the 360 is far too pretty to get super dirty all the time. So here it is for sale. What can I tell you about it? It's registered in my name and I have the clean title for it if course. I just paid the registration so it's good until July of 2015. The bike runs amazing, as it should. Starts right up, all electrical works. Battery is new, tires are good and oil, plugs and chain were always maintained by me. The only issues I can say the bike has are that the front fork seals leak. A mechanic told me this is due to the dirt on my road. When dirt gets in the seals they don't seal properly and leak. It still drives great but you will want to replace them eventually. Also, there is 1 spot of melted rubber from my boot on 1 pipe that could definitely be cleaned with some elbow grease. The tank is original paint and was never modified in any way though it does have some little knicks here and there but overall is nice. The inside of the tank could use a coat of sealant. It has the signs of a small anount of rust. As its the original tank and was never treated I would probably eventually do so to preserve the original paint and such. As I said I live on a dirt road so there's some dirt and such in some cracks and crevices but I spent 3 hours today cleaning it up so it looks pretty good. I am selling this for LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. In 1974 performance and mechanical specifications remained the same from the previous year but the trim level is upgraded throughout; wood fascia is added to the dash, padded center console, floor carpeting & additional bright work details added to exterior. Round cornered headlight cowl with one-piece front wings most notable "Mark II" feature.This particular Jensen is from the dry state of California where it lived with its first owner for over 26 years and then its second owner for almost 10 years! This Ebay listing may end early. Background Information: I originally bought this car to do some clean-up to the black paint and flip this quickly. But once I started looking through the paperwork and looking closer at the car it became very clear that this car has been valued and loved since day one. There are over 200 neat and tidy pages of invoices and history included in a binder going all the way back to its import into the U.S. The import documents take up 20 pages by themselves. It has had dozens of upgrades and modifications over the years with the best ones installed over the last decade. I had always wanted one of these truck and acquired this one on a trade a few years back. I have a large property and used it to move, drag, and tow just about anything that needed moving. I have done hay rides with it, rescued many friends from ditches, and embarrassed more than a few off roaders who thought they had the toughest trucks around. This truck is not perfect but she runs awesome and will get through anything. In every storm since I've had it, I was able to get around just fine while everyone around me was stuck inside. This one does have the heater so its comfortable in cold weather, it also has upgraded HID lighting, a 12 volt power port, newer batteries, good tires and was just serviced including new belts. Cosmetically the fenders have a bit of scarring and there is a small crack in the windshield on the one side but it has never gotten bigger since I've had the truck. These are great for "doomsday preppers", farmers, or just people looking to get off the beaten path and go where many people can't. Mechanically the only issue with the truck is that the brakes for the 3rd axle have been disabled due to a leak. It still is able to stop just fine even while heavily loaded.
