For Sale: 1974 Suzuki RL250 Exacta Trials Bike. This Classic Motorcycle had been in storage for quit a while, and recently brought out to sell. Some mixture was added and it fired up! I put some air in the tires and drove it around the yard a little, but will need some work to make it run consistently. This is a Classic Motorcycle in overall decent shape but will need a full restoration. I was told the original Engine Failed decades ago, and was replaced with another RL250 Engine, so the engine case number doesn't match the VIN. This is a Rare Bike that should be ridden, and is perfect for any collection. It's being sold with a bill of sale only. Please take note of all photos and details. I have a beautiful 1975/74 CZ 250 Falta. This bike belonged to the Late Don Matthews. Don was a foremost CZ racer and builder in Ahrma and Pacific Northwest vintage motocross scene. He was a friend and a great person. The CZ World Championships ( Don Matthews) is dedicated to his memory. The title has 1974 CZ. The frame has a falta kit and powder coated. Falta top end 4 speed tranny. Works shocks, aftermarket fenders, brake stay/chain guide. It has bing carb and reed valve box. Aftermarket race pipe. I am not a CZ expert at all!! I tried to race it but after 15 years of 4 stroke racing it just doesn't work for me. There has been a lot of good work done to this bike . The piston port work to the cylinder head, down to the rear brake pedal set up. There was a lot of attention to detail on this build. Please ask questions, I race at the expert level and this bike handles great the forks have had work done to then springs and emulators. I have a CR 250 race bike that has patina yet upgrades to be a great race bike. All original plastic & tank. RM seat (bolts right on & has plastic base) PFR pipe (some race scars but, good), new tires, (Dunlop rear & Kings front), new front shoes & brake cable, fork seals, Renthall bars, straight pull throttle, split perches, K&N filter, folding shift lever, kick lever is tight, mag cover is not cracked. Most fasteners have been changed over to 8mm head Honda bolts. I didn't open up the motor it has great compression & runs hard. It has had rear frame loop removed (fender is solid) and I have a junk frame which could donate rear loop if someone desired. I have a lot of spares which will also be sold for additional cost. (almost 1 1/2 other bikes). Bel-Ray lubricants are used. H1R two stroke at 40:1 & gear saver as well. This is built to RIDE, RACE & ENJOY!! Not a museum piece.
