It has short handle bars currently installed , but I do have the original handle bars to go with it. Bike doesn't leak or anything like that. Clean title for the bike. Here is a very nice and stock 1975 Sportster 1000cc it runs great and rides great, the bike was repainted many years ago and still looks great, there is a small chip on front of fender.I am the 3rd owner and the guy I bought it from had it in has collection for over 25 years and kept the bike in top shape but only put 2k on it the whole time he had it.The only non stock items are it has a 2in over front end and a 72 style taillight.the bike is ready to ride or show, I have gone on a couple 200 mile rides with no issues at all, but keep in mind it is a old school sporty and does leak a little oil LOL, but is a very solid motorcycle and so hard to find a stock sportster at ALL anymore!!!!!This is really a sweet old sporty and a total blast to ride the motor sounds amazing and handles great with the factory stock rims 19in front 18in rear.please let me know if you have any questions or would like more detail prefer phone calls. This is a 1975 Harley Davidson Sportster 1000cc. This bike has a few custom parts. It has a left side shift and is a kick start. She runs but as of right now has a small oil leak. The oil leak seems to be coming from a gasket from the transmission casing. The front hand brake needs to be flared as well. The bike was rode in CT, there is no speedometer or gauges on this bike. Titled as a 1975 Harley Davidson, Has a 1974 HD sportster "ironhead" motor with VIN also appearing on title. The frame is a true rigid frame of unknown origin. It is molded, and straight. Goes down road with no hands. Frame has 34-36 degree rake. Front end is a late model HD wide glide with billet triple trees. Lower legs are set up to run dual discs. It currently has a single, late model 2002 and up caliper with 11.5" rotor, 21" front wheel w/great tread. Rear wheel is a 16", also running late model 2002 and up caliper, 11.5 rotor and matching master cylinder. Tire has equally great tread. Motor is 1974, 1000cc with about 8000mi. It started as a brand new lower end, top end, clutch, tranny. It has a Dyna 2000i electronic ignition, S&S super E carb, dyna coil, mild cams, solid lifters, and if memory serves me, I think .020"over bore. it has some nice chrome parts which also include the heads. Yes, the heads are chrome. They have ran great here in Norcal year round. Handle bars are custom made. Fashioned after a set of Biltwell window bars, these were made 11" tall and are 23" wide. This bike has been very dependable, and is really fast. front cobra seat is starting to show some cracking. rear P pad, and foot pegs. It is kick only, and of course, suicide / jockey shift 4 speed. This bike sits on the low side, looks cool as hell. It will make you look cool too, even if you aren't.. HAHA. Once you know it, it will usually start in 1-5 kicks. That will greatly depend on how much of a hurry you are in. Seriously, don't ask, but it is true. Real hurry, and it will give you some grief. No hurry, start right up. When I changed the seats I had intended to replace the fender and repaint the tank and fender this winter but something came up and it is now for sale. Boasting over 50 horsepower (around 57HP). With a Compression ratio of 9-to-1. Its loud. Loud enough it will make people notice you and think. Damn. That's loud! The top speed is around 170- 180 MPH. I have had this bike up to around 120- 130MPH..and she had some more Getty up and go to her! She weighs in at around 530 pounds. So yeah its kinda small. But it takes some big you know what's to tame this little piece of pure Americana hawg. The loud pipes, the low end thump and rump of the engine, the heat rising up between your legs as every muscle shakes throughout your body from its 57 horsepower V twin engine.. True dual side by side slash cut straight/drag pipes get exhaust gases and unwanted heat behind you, just like all your worries when you begin a ride. But lets face it.
