1972 Kawasaki 750 Triple H2 “Widow maker” Frame off restored - frame looks powder coated, all parts are very clean and/or refurbished, runs like a bandit, low miles. Was Factory Candytone Blue now is Black (I found a place under seat with original paint on it), authentic decals. As far as I know the bike is stock with all the pieces on it, includes the factory stand, no dents or rust. Was titled in Michigan in 2005 and presume the restoration was fresh at that time. New battery and tires. Looks so good. I’m not an H2 expert, but rode one in 1975 for a while, so it looks correct to me. I had to have the guts of one spark box replaced to get it running, it sat for many years with the electrical issue, I bought it a year ago and troubleshot the problem. Now I ride it around the neighborhood every month. Some minor wear, not very obvious, would look really good with a detail cleaning. No warranty, as-is where-is, this is a 43 year old classic, no leaks, kept indoors and covered. I don't know much about its past. The frame number is 08902 and the engine is 08920, which is probably the factory pairing. Buyer will have to arrange for pickup or transportation. Including a reproduction of original Owners Manual I just bought from an ebay seller. She's a beauty looking for a new owner.

Over several years I have had the pleasure to own, restore and be a avid collector of all things 1973 Kawasaki Z1. To date I have had at least 10 (ten) 1973 models that have passed through my garage doors and 4 remain. Two original bikes and two in the early state of restoration, both of which were decent running largely original bikes prior to dismantling. In addition, I have compiled a large assortment of NOS, and quality used parts for the 1973 model. A large number of these parts from the dismantled bikes as well as extras have been re-chromed, re-zinc plated, and or powder-coated in preparation of my use in the restoration process. There are of course some (very little) new and aftermarket parts as well but on whole I would say 99% are OEM Kawasaki. There is essentially with the exception of a rear wheel, and exhausts nearly every part necessary to complete both restorations. In addition, there are probably enough desirable extra parts to offset much of the cost of the parts one would need to acquire. See link below to see hi-res photos of the bikes and inventory of parts http://s83.photobucket.com/user/arcaneman/library/2Z1Parts? This auction is for two (2) 1973 Kawasaki Z1's Vin: Z1F-14002, Z1E-14219 31K miles and Z1F-7338, Z1E-7518 15K miles? with matching engine numbers, and with clear open titles. Kawasaki H2 750cc triple Café Racer / Resto-mod in spectacular fully-restored condition. Please note: Alabama does not issue Titles for pre-1975 bikes. However, eBay does not offer this as an option. This bike will be sold with a current AL Registration document in my name, with the tag (good until May 2015) plus a Bill of Sale, which may be notarized if required. Therefore, there is NO actual Title. NO TITLE! Most States will accept this situation, some may not. Please check carefully and satisfy yourself that you can register the bike with the documents offered before bidding. This unique bike was built about 3 years ago to a very high standard. The frame (H2F30336), a stock, unmodified item retaining all original lugs, brackets and fittings, was professionally blasted and powder-coated. The front suspension, rear swing arm, wheel and brakes are carefully-modified Yamaha FZR6 items. Rear shocks are new Red Wing KM-X 320 units. Both tires are almost new - Bridgestone Battlax BT45R, 150/70-18 rear and 120/70-17 front. The motor (H2E04208) was fully rebuilt from the the crank up: new seals, bearings, re-bored with new forged Wiseco +030" pistons and rings, new Mikuni carburetors with foam air cleaners. Engine cases were silver painted and clear-coated; still in very nice condition except for a small peeling area on the clutch cover. Oil pump and auto-lube system have been removed and the bike runs on 40:1 racing two-stroke oil. Exhaust is a brushed steel Fast-by-Gast system, with red anodized exhaust ports. The paint was professionally applied, using an RB decals kit under clear-coat. It is virtually flawless, with a very small scratch on the upper right hand side of the tank. (Above the stripe roughly in line with the first 'K' of Kawasaki). It's hard to photograph clearly and only visible in when viewed from a certain direction. There is also a single chip on the tail fairing, where the chrome trim strip would normally cover it. Please note: in one or two pictures, reflections from the ground or vehicles nearby may look like imperfections in the paint. I've taken multiple photos so that you can see the flawless quality of the paint.). A Pingle high-flow racing petcock (without reserve) is fitted along with new file lines and fittings. The seat is from Corbin, using an original stock H2 seat and mounting hardware. A digital instrument cluster from Vapor is fitted; the ignition switch has been re-located under the seat. All wiring is new, as is the battery. The handlebars are adjustable Tommaselli items with Magura levers and throttle. Yamaha switchgear controls the lights and turn signals. All cables and stainless-steel brake lines are of course new. The master cylinder has slight peeling to the black paint on the body. Turn signals are miniature LED items; the original Kawasaki headlamp and tail light are fitted. The bike was assembled with mostly new, high-quality hardware and many smaller items (ignition modules, intake manifolds, cables, brake pads, chain, sprockets) are also new. I've tried to show everything clearly in the pictures; please look carefully and ask any questions if you're unsure. The bike has the original side stand, but no center stand is fitted. The bike fires up with one or two kicks and idles smoothly with no mechanical noise. It is a light, fast and brutal bike to ride; best on an open road but hard work around town. Most of my riding these days is running short errands around town, and I simply don't use this bike enough. Overall, it needs very little to be a truly spectacular example. Although fully rebuilt, please remember that this is a 41 year-old bike that requires careful maintenance and some mechanical ability to keep it in this condition. The bike was built with the intention that it could be returned to stock condition if desired, by re-installing a complete original front end and rear swing arm assemblies. Most of the parts required can be easily sourced through eBay or specialist Kawasaki parts suppliers. Mileage: the mileage quoted is the estimated miles since restoration. A new 'Vapor' digital display (similar in function to the Moto Gadget) was fitted recently, which features a tachometer, speedometer and various trip functions, temperature and hours running time. I have no idea what mileage the bike has covered since 1973. Reserve Price: the reserve will not be disclosed, in fairness to all bidders. It is set at a very reasonable level, in my opinion. Once the reserve has been reached, the auction will run to the end. Prior to the reserve being met, I reserve the right to end the auction or accept any Buy-it-Now offer at my discretion. Delivery Options: it is the purchaser's responsibility to get shipping quotations and make all necessary arrangements. Please use my ZIP 36607 (domestic address) for estimating costs. I will normally be available to help with loading, given reasonable notice and subject to my work schedule. The bike will be fully insured and carefully stored until handed over to the shipper. The bike must be picked up within 30 days of the auction end, unless you have contacted me beforehand to make alternative arrangements. After 30 days, it will be considered an Abandoned Purchase and alternative arrangements made. I will make every effort to help you - please allow a reasonable time for me to reply. If you are planning to export the bike, I may be able to deliver to a local shipper for a small additional cost, but cannot offer crating or export documentation services. Free Delivery to Barber Vintage Festival! I will be attending the Barber Vintage Festival on 10th and 11th October and offer free delivery and collection at this event. The bike must be fully paid for within 7 days of the auction close and you must be able to collect the bike in person from the Swap Meet area no later than noon on Saturday 11th October. Questions? Please let me know if you have any questions or would like any additional information or photographs. I will do my best to respond quickly, but please do not wait until 30 minutes before auction end to ask…! Thank you and good luck with your bidding!
