1975 Harley-Davidson FLH Shovelhead. Great running shovel here for sale. Well cared for with recent trans rebuild, new Barnett clutch and aluminum pressure plate. I added the larger early model throw-out bearing and a six bolt clutch basket while I had it apart.This bike has all new bearings in the wheels, steering head and swing arm. New rotors and pads on the GMA calipers. The rear suspension is Progressive heavy duty shocks that drop the bike about 2" with the shock mounts moved into the swing arm. The front end was lowered 1.5" also, so the whole bike has a great low stance to it. I also just added the Fred Kondlin Bonanza bars with a late model one piece riser/clamp with locking screws in it. The paint job is by a local painter and is flawless. The wheels are polished aluminum CCI disks. I also replaced all of the chrome with polished aluminum. Forward controls include Joker Machine pedals and foot rests. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has a 4.5" S&S stroker flywheel in it, an S&S Super E carb with DaVinci Venturi, and S&S 450 cam. Air cleaner is an authentic Goodson. The exhaust is all stainless steel, made just for this bike. Battery is a 1 year old glass mat 300+ CCA hooked to an All Balls Starter with custom heavy gauge cables. Kicker is heavy duty and works great with a hot engine. 1975 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead , 1975 FXE Shovelhead 1200cc (74ci), kick and electric start, frame and engine numbers match, 4 speed trans, with a Wide Glide front end and other parts to look like an FLH. Has about 1,500 miles on rebuilt engine. Solid lifters, New front & rear tires and tubes with 0 (zero) miles, new upgraded Keihin CV carb, new 2:1 exhuast, new clutch and throttle cables, battery quick disconnect switch, battery is 1 year old stored indoor on battery tender, new oil lines, new rear brake master cylinder, new manual lever start solenoid, new oil pressure guage, new K&N air filter. All the bike needs is, the turn signals to be wired/hooked up, and the front brake light switch needs to be wired up. I just bought a new front brake switch, and didn't have time to wire it up. Also needs if you want one is a speedometer cable. I have some extra parts/stuff that I'll give you with the bike as well. I would also check the jetting since carb, exhaust, and air filter are all new. The bike fires right up, kick or electric, runs and rides great. I only rode it 600 miles last year, but can no longer ride due to my disability (back and leg), so it must go. This is your chance to own a real deal classic shovelhead. You're bidding on a 1 owner, original, unrestored, #s matching 1975 FLH with 4.5k original miles. This is a true survivor! I purchased it from the estate of the deceased original owner. The orig. owner didn't just like his bike, he LOVED it until his death a few years ago. Mostly ridden on special occasions or events and always stored in a dry climate controlled building. Motor has never been apart and it runs superbly. No smoke, no leaks, no strange noises, transmission shifts the way it's supposed to and it rides like a dream. All of the chrome is in excellent condition with VERY little surface rust or oxidation. The fairing, and bags were painted to match the orig. color decades ago. The color is close but not a perfect match to the orig. The gas tanks were repainted for some reason also. On the very front bottom of the right gas tank, some of the repaint has flaked off and you can see the original paint which looks really nice, glossy and bright. I don't know why the tanks were repainted and I was very temped to try to remove it, (might just have minor imperfections underneath???). The only things that have been recently replaced are the oil, air filter, points, condenser, front brake master cylinder and petcock. All of the electrics work except for the amp meter, oil pressure guage and cig lighter, (probably just a loose wire) and the horn button is missing but horn still works. The radio works but I don't have any 8 track tapes laying around to see if the tape deck still works. Also comes with matching tour pack with more fancy lights. This is a turn key, classic antique motorcycle that can be ridden daily the way it sits. It attracts an enormous amount of attention anywhere it goes and I'm sure you'll even snag a few trophies if that's your bag. 1975 Harley-Davidson FLH Shovelhead Very nice used Harley-Davidson full dress bagger. SOUNDS AWESOME! Bike just got a new set of plugs, I took it for a ride and it runs great! S&S super carb. Paint is in great condition (not original) Dark Emerald Green and White Pearl. Lots of add-on chrome pieces. Also has a Harley-Davidson passenger backrest (not currently installed). It is a number matching bike (bike motor and frame numbers match), has a clean Pennsylvania title. I got this bike in January and have never rode it. The miles (according to the previous owner) are approximately 27,000. To my knowledge the motor has never been apart. Bike was purchased new in 1975 from Zepka Harley Davidson in Johnstown, PA. Rider and passenger Mustang seats. Whitewall tires in good condition. New speedometer installed last year reads 599, bike has approx 27,000 miles. Trip odometer knob broke off, needs repair. Fish tail straight pipes, sounds amazing. Locking hard Saddlebags. 1 year old Harley-Davidson sound system on it that hooks to a phone or iPod. Bike runs but may need re jetting.
