I have a 1976 Honda CB750 for sale. Top end has been gone through - cylinders honed, new gaskets, new plugs, and new seat and side covers. The carbs have been cleaned, and the battery is a little weak, but it turns over. I just got spark this last weekend. I bought it to be a winter project, but have 7 other bikes and need the space. The bike has an 836 cam in it. The motor seems sound, but the rest of the bike needs several things. The rear fender isn't correct, and only partially mounted. The wheels are Harley and work great. Has a key, two tanks, and a 70's faring that are included. I HAVE NOT GOTTEN IT TO RUN. It did pop a couple times, but it needs some love. I have a lost title application signed by the previous owner, and I was told it is on non-op. Could be a very fun winter task, and with the 836 in it, it could really haul.

1976 Honda Cb , A CLASSIC !! 1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport. Very good condition retro custom. Air-cooled in-line 4 cylinder. New rear shocks, new fork seals, seat re-upholstered, original exhaust pipes properly re-chromed. Some engine covers removed and powder-coated. Chrome chain guard included. 14,000 miles. Purrs like a kitten. Clear Ohio title. It comes with plenty of stares and positive comments. Put the key in and go !! The first time I saw a 1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport I was amazed at its European look and styling but surprised to see Honda stamped on the seat. The 4 into 1 compound curving exhaust was genius. Never owned one until I saw and purchased this one at the Mid-Ohio vintage motorcycle weekend in 2003. It was already in pretty good condition and had just over 11,000 on it. It has been garaged but as you can see I put 3,000 miles on it because it is fun to ride. But I have also had 2 or 3 other motorcycles at a time, so I decided to put the above mentioned work into it. After the work I have only ridden it a few times a year until 2 years ago when I rode it only 2 or 3 times and this last year only once. I have a newer bike that I like and prefer to ride, so it's time to let this one go.There is some slight surface rust on the rims and fenders. There is a small ding in the front fender. The gas tank has some surface scratches. The original handlebars (bent) were replaced with aftermarket bars and the wiring that would normally travel through the original bars was bundled, wrapped and run outside to the proper controls. The foot brake pedal is also bent, which was that way when I purchase it but didn't replace it. My guess is that it had been dropped but not wrecked. The ride it true and it doesn't drift.The engine weeps some oil from the head. I have read where others have completely rebuilt this type of engine to try to remedy the weeping but have never been able to cure it of its condition. I know others who have owned '76 Honda CB400F Super Sports and they too have mentioned this condition. The aftermarket rear shocks are about 1/4 inch larger in diameter then the original shocks, so I have left the chain guard off. Have debated with myself as to whether to have the guard cut out to fit around the shocks or not. Will let the next purchaser make that decision. $4,000.00

This is a 1976 Honda CB550K from the Hamilton Honda Motorcycle collection in Apache Junction, Arizona. This CB550 is an original rider in very good condition and drives well. It has 18707 miles on the odometer, has a new battery and has been recently serviced. It has its original paint on the tank, although there are several scratches on the top as shown in the pictures. The left side cover has a crack but since it looks to be an original, we did not want to replace it or repaint it. The original yellow paint still shows on the factory inspection locations. The bike has its original 4 into 4 exhausts with no rust or holes. Engine number is CB55E-1067526. Frame number is CB550-1230323. This CB550K has a clear Washington State title Please note .... 1976 Honda CB750 fourThis is a nice original cb750, with genuine low miles, it's a good rider or basis for original restoration, hasn't been messed with or taken apart, all original, does have some small holes in the left lower pipe which is the common one, but other than that they are very solid, motor is sweet and the bike runs good, carbs cleaned, tires are fine to ride on, but possibly could do with changed before long highway use. Good chrome. Clean paint with a very small amount of sun fading on tank top, small dent in front of badge on left side pictured and some scratches as to the age of the bike. Both side covers have cracks that have been repaired, I just wanted to keep originals with the bike. Everything works electrically. Good solid bike, not immaculate, the nice part is it's not been apart, everything on the bike is what was on it when it left the factory, inspection paint intact, was in e same family from new before me. Could do with some money to fund other Honda projects, happy to answer any questions or supply any pics or info you might need about the bike, clean Kansas title. This bike came to us from an estate auction in Pennsylvania and was presented to us as being completely original. The yellow paint is still on the nuts and bolts. The bike is in near showroom condition, except for a couple of cosmetic issues that we would normally address (i.e. some minor rust on the wheels and spokes and a hairline crack in the left side cover) but we decided to leave it untouched and let the next owner decide if they wanted to address those cosmetic issues or leave it original. The bike has it's original set of HM 341 pipes, baffles and mufflers in very good condition with minor pitting, but no holes top or bottom. This bike was ridden regularly and well maintained by the previous owner and is ready to ride today, with new tires recently installed, a POR-15 sealed fuel tank and rebuilt carbs. All of the electronics work including the electric starter button, directional signals, horn, and directional buzzer. The charging system works great and maintains the battery power at 12.5V.
