For sale is an all original 1976 Kawasaki kz400 with 9,554 miles and clear title. Bike has been sitting for about 6 years non running and will need some work to prepare it for running condition once again, the carburetor slides and choke are sticking from sitting, inside of gas tank has some rusting that will clean out with a de- ruster, and old gas needs drained. the front brake master cylinder does pump but will need to be bled through and caliper probably needs cleaned out, the left side exhaust pipe has a hole in the bottom about a few inches wide, shown in pictures. Also the bates saddle bag is cracked on the right side behind mount bracket, can be repaired, The rear tire will need most likely a new tube and tire as it does not hold air, the tire is older and could use replacing anyways, also the air box boots going to the carburetors are dry rotting and will need replacing, the Tank has no dents in it, paint is overall in pretty good shape just some up close scuffs and scratch or two, motor has good compression, seat is very nice no rips, electronics all work, has tool kit, bike is overall fairly rust free and chrome is all in good shape, shines well on wheels/fenders. This would be a good project to get running as an original paint survivor, always kept inside, too many projects need to let some go.
