1976 TT500, engine and frame numbers match. 2nd owner, runs mint. Just add taillight and be street legal. Original tank in very nice condition with a 3" swell on the top of the tank and some chips and scratches on the sides.(see photos). Freshly powder coated frame and swing arm along with polished forks and newly painted engine. Engine has stainless steel bolt set. New seat cover, front and rear sprocket, new chain, new chain roller, new tires, and new front brake and clutch cable. New replica front and rear plastics with original side covers.(one side cover is cracked, see photos). Rear shocks have been taken apart and painted. Super trapp exhaust with mikuni carb.

Has all the vintage stickers still on it from back in the day and appears to have been a Works Performance (Canoga Park CA) sponsored race bike. Original paint on orig. aluminum tank is very nice. This bike has been extensively modified with: re-valved 38mm YZ forks and dual leading shoe front brake, lightweight YZ wheels, Works Performance finned shocks, Pro-Fab aluminum swingarm, Pro-Tec aluminum chain tensioner, custom open megaphone exhaust pipe is just beautiful, K&N filter, K&N chromoly bars, ultra rare vintage E-Line Magnum flat slide carb, vintage DeCoster grips, Preston Petty plastic, YZ controls, etc. This engine is a heavily modified factory PRO-TEC big bore kitted motor with high lift cams, valve mods & porting, ignition timing, manually activated compression release, etc. I have all the engine specs available to anyone who is seriously interested. This bike came out of SoCal and looks suspiciously similar to the bike Rex Staten rode back in the day when he was competing on 4 stroke TT's. Fully restored with rebuilt and restored suspension (shocks & forks completely rebuilt & restored), new tubes, newer tires, new chain, original controls, etc. TITLED with all original books, and extensive motor mods described. 1976 Yamaha TT 500 C low hour original bike serial # 583-002718 This motorcycle is a beautiful example of the first model year TT 500 and is all stock down to tires that appear to have never been off rims. Was acquired from the original owner, used on California ranch property and to ride down paved road to mailbox and back. Bike was registered initially in 1976 only and never left property until last year. Has had a full service with fresh oil and filter, OEM air filter, valve adjust and ultrasonic carb cleaning. Starts first or second kick cold and runs like new. Only replacement parts are spark arrestor, skid plate and grips, these having been replaced w NOS units to put back to 100% correct. Tank has shallow ding, several minor scratches and missing a small area of decal. Bike has usual scratches, weathering and patina consistent with a 38 year old off road machine. Only item to be touched up with paint was exhaust from very minor surface rust on head pipe. Pictures speak for condition. They are only original once so here is your chance! Japanese equivalent of the BSA Gold Star and one this stock is tough to find. Title is clear and I have a bill of sale from original owner.
