1976 Yamaha TT500C Engine in a Dick Mann Frame These are usually referred to as " Dick Mann Replica's " This bike was purchased from the original owner / builder. He ordered the frame on July 26, 1977 from DMS (Dick Mann Specialties) in Richmond, California.The Suspension was also ordered through DMS : Simon's Forks and Clamps with Fox Shocks for the rear.The bike comes with a folder detailing the build and bikes history. Last major service was at Powroll Performance - the head was rebuilt, flowed and a cam was added. Mr. Mann has seen the bike and confirmed that it is one of his early frames - the snail adjusters are the biggest clue. He also signed the tank. ( see picture ) These bikes (and frames) are well documented on the internet. This frame was never painted - Dick told me most of the early frames were powder coated "Orange" - simply because he liked the color. He also mentioned that it is the best trail bike he ever designed ! This is a running / riding bike. Started 3-5 times per year.
