Original 1978 Honda Trail 70 300 Original Miles! Amazing! Here we have for sale a beautiful all original 1978 Honda Trail 70. This is about a good as you can get for rare, low mileage Honda's. You never ever see black Honda Trail 70's and surely you never see them with 300 original miles and as clean and untouched as this one. This has been one of the highlights of my collection but times have changed and I have to sell off some of my nice bikes. This was bought from the original owners family who bought it brand new here in Reno in 1978. The lady who owned it never rode the bike and always kept it under cover here in the dry Nevada desert. The bike is all original and is beautiful condition. This black Honda is a work of art in my opinion. I love to display this bike in my shop. I have taken it to shows and it has been the hit because people have never seen 1978 Honda 70's. The 70 runs and rides like when it was brand new, which was only 395 miles ago. This bike runs like a champ and idles like a well oiled sewing machine. It pretty special to hear how crisp the throttle response is. The bike is untouched since the day is was sold. Everything on the bike except the battery is original. I have the original Honda battery if needed. The black paint is very nice! It does show imperfections in it, like scuffs but black paint will do that. The decals are all in great shape! The chrome is like new and in near mint condition. The seat is perfect and doesn't have one flaw in it. The handlebars and controls are all like new and are straight. The exhaust is in very very nice shape and the chrome is bright and shiny on it. The wheels are very nice with original tires. They do have some cracks in them. The wheels have a slight amount of patina on them. The electical all works except the headlight. It has come on before. It could be a bad connection in the bulb not sure. The original tool kit is perfect and comes with the bike. The cables and rubber on the bike are like new and original. The headlight ears are bent not sure how that happened. There is some scraps on the right side turn signals too. The bike rides wonderfully like a brand new Honda 70. There is patina here and there on the bike but it is in exceptional original condition and is completely untouched, do not miss out on this super rare all original Honda. I am selling some really nice Honda mini bikes. So check my other auctions! I only accept cash, check, or money order for forms of payment. I can store the Honda for up to a month so that shipping arrangements can be made. I can get a motorcycle pallet if needed. This is an all original 1973 Honda CT70 Trail Blazer with only 187 original documented miles. I have all the original paperwork from it's original purchase through 1978 (Purchase Contract, Owners Manual, Registration, Bike Pamphlet, valve adjustment and oil change). Sometime shortly after registering it in 1978 the bike was stored inside the original owners kitchen pantry for 36 years until he passed away and it was uncovered. It has the original Blue classic license plates issued when first purchased in 1973 for California. It has a new battery and OEM air filter, runs great, the motor is in excellent condition. The oil is still golden color, it is basically brand new original. This is an AMAZING once in a lifetime find. This is NOT a rebuilt bike with rebuilt parts. This is an ORIGINAL CT70 with only 187 ORIGINAL miles. The paint is perfect as you can see in the pictures and it is Original Candy Red color. The Chrome looks alright, it has some light patina and rust spots you can see in the pictures. The seat is in excellent condition and so are all the tags and plates on the bike. CLEAN TITLE! ALL REGISTRATION AND FEES HAVE BEEN PAID FOR THRU MAY 2016. Absolutely remarkable original survivor. Low mileage, dual sports this old, are nearly impossible to find. This blast from the past has only 4795 miles. Except for the rebulit original muffler, the rest of the bike is 100% original. Seat has two very small tears along lower,front edge but is original too. Paint is really good,small amount of fading on top and some very small dents are possible to find but not obvious. No rust, no leaks, never down, starts on first kick everytime. Have the 1978 correct manual and tool kit. Battery fairly new. Horn and Lights work. Can send more photos and video of cold-start and run.  I start and ride it every week, at least around my street.
