Honda’s twin-cylinder sportbikes revolutionized the world of motorcycling when they first appeared, and this latest generation—our 500 twins—are the best ever. Here’s what you need to know about the CB500F: It’s the most broad-spectrum of the 500 family, with minimal bodywork, a classic riding position, and a 30.9-inch seat height that fits a wide range of riders. Even though it’s just a couple of years old, for 2016, it gets some tasty updates both in terms of style and function. The best part stays the same: the powerful twin-cylinder engine and its wide, user-friendly powerband. But for 2016, you get better shift feel thanks to some transmission upgrades, a new adjustable front-brake lever, a larger fuel tank, and preload-adjustable front suspension. And there’s more, too: The new headlight and crisper style you can see for yourself, but the new exhaust you’ll have to hear to appreciate. The CB500F has always been an excellent choice for riders ready to move up a displacement class, or for anyone who appreciates a great middleweight motorcycle, and for 2016, it’s even better. PRICE SHOWN IS NET OF ALL FACTORY REBATES AND INCENTIVES. SALES TAX IS CALCULATED ON PRE-REBATE AMOUNTS. PRICE PLUS ADM (additional dealer mark-up) WHICH COVERS FREIGHT, SET-UP, ADVERTISING, STORAGE, PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION, TRANSPORTATION AND FUEL COSTS.

If you JUST saw this bike listed/sold and thought you missed it, well heres the second chance you wish you had!! Due to one bidder making up a reason of "entered wrong amount" after entering 5 bids over a 4 day period, it caused this auction to loose momentum and although another ebayer offered 2500 for it for his daughter, he decided it was too heavy for her, and the highest of 3 bids it originally got for 1475 remained and so I asked the buyer and ebay to allow me a relist. So this is the relist!! I PROMISE YOU THIS BIKE IS EVERYTHING I SAY AND MORE AND THE PICS DO NOT SHOW HOW CLEAN AND NICE IT REALLY IS!! So bid with 100% confidence, its in full riding condition other than needing new tires. Its rides excellent and EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT!! One of the cleanest most original survivor bikes left on the planet. 98-99% original, 6/72 is what the neck tag reads, so as far as Im concerned its a 72, but it IS registered a 1973. I believe it was a typo from day one, and a trip to dmv or chp to have the date verified would easilt change the year to 1972 as it states it is. I heard in Japan the cut off date is in june, and this IS dated in June, so not sure if its literally "a day" or something off somehow? But here in the USA Sept or after is considered late for that year and makes it the following year, not exactly HALFWAY into the year!! Clean CA title and The only thing it needs is tires and fork boots, oh and the seat has a small tear that needs a good upholstery guy to fix it.. Has one small ding in tank cant hardly see it(on LH side in the black painted area towards top/rear, it can be seen in one of the side shots) Only the LH blinker has a small isuue. You have to hold it over to the left to keep it blinking, other than that EVERY SINGLE THING on this bike works as factory. All wiring is perfect, frame, drivetrain all excellent. Brakes are excellent aswell. Every lever, switch, light, horn, lens, cover, nut/bolt is absolutely factory and in excellent condition!! Seat has usuall split, but foam is excellent. Bike was only stored in doors. Has orignal fuses and holder under seat. Original owner misplaced tool kit, so its got a replacement tool kit. Original perfect cond owners manual (notice its also dated 1972)has documentation of all services done and chains and tires from May of 1980 with 20K miles, all the way upto 1988 with 34K miles!! And the bike now has just 37,400K miles!!! So documented for most of its life just about. My pictures actually make it look very bland and sort of "faded" , but believe me this bike is beautiful in person and it IS ALL THAT!! In one pic it looks like the LH side of the tank at the rear has a bunch of white scratches or scuffs, but again its my pics. If you look at a different shot of the same area you see its got nothing there. Runs excellent, rode it today and 8-9K rpm shifts are no problem and it LOVES IT!! Just put new battery, oil change, filter clean, and pulled carbs and cleaned and tuned and rebuilt them. RUNS PERFECT. Tank looks new inside, not a SPEC of rust or anything anywhere. ALL the chrome on this bike is absolutely PERFECT, there isnt a single SPEC of rust or pitting or anything remotely resembling rust or corrosion. And for all the original chrome from 44 years ago to still look this nice, that can only mean it was stored properly all its life. Both fenders and plastics are excellent, side covers are BOTH perfect and all tabs for them are excellent, none are broken and they have been always kept lubed up so they pop on and off as they should without breaking!! Bars are perfect, never bent, I think they may even be the original grips too! Gas cap is perfect, Tank has usuall "top green fade", but all the trim is excellent. The LH "honda" emblem on the tank does have what looks like a little scratched area where it may have been rubbed up against something possibly, but its extremely minor. But its waxed and buffed nicely and kept nice. All the side covers are excellent, no dents or scratches from being laid down. As far as I can tell its not been wrecked, although it may have possibly been tipped over? But the only signs of ANY sort of scraping or scratches is on the exhaust pipes in the rear and only very small area. So if these did come off a different bike they may have already been there? cause this bike just has no evidence of ever being wrecked or laid down. If this bike were pulled apart and detailed it would literally look brand new again!!. It almost does now!! Local pickup or I can POSSIBLY take to be shipped if paid to do so. One of the nicest survivors left out there i guarantee you. Doesnt smoke, wasnt abused and I know the original owner, and second owner. Im third owner but 2nd owner is a friend whos owned it longest. Nice bike dont let this one get away, cause you just dont find them all original like this anymore unless its in a collection or museum. I guarntee that 99% of this bikes original nuts/bolts and equiptment is factory original!!

1980 Honda CX500ccondition: like newengine displacement (CC): 500fuel: gastransmission: manualPLEASE CONTACT ME FOR MORE PICTURES. THE WEBSITE IS SAYING THEY'RE TOO LARGE TO UPLOAD!!Fresh built CX500c cafe racer!! Its time to sell my project so I can fund the next one. I started with a bone stock blown up 1980 honda CX500c and built a sleek looking very well running bike. Everything on the bike is new down to the handle bar controls. the engine has 200 miles since the rebuild and it is running very strong. The piggy back rear shocks also only have 200 miles on them and are properly adjusted for a old sporty feel. The seat is a cafe racer seat off of a cb500 that was modified to fit this bike. Most non-essiential things such as the stock H box and center stand have been removed to fit the style of the cafe racer but I have all of the stock parts which will go with the bike. Frame and other parts freshly painted a couple months ago. The mufflers are brand new and sound great! Everything works. Just replaced the fuel filter and spark plugs! This bike is an absolute blast to ride! It truly feels like a racing bike that was built in the 80's. There are too many things to list about this bike so please come take a look or contact me for further questions!!!

This is a mint condition Honda CB 750 Custom with 6194 original miles on it. There are a couple of minor scratches on the gas tank. There are no other defects whatsoever. The seat is perfect. The sissy bar pad is perfect. It runs perfectly. It has brand new tires on it. It has a brand new battery. There is no rust whatsoever on the pipes which is very unusual. It starts after just touching the start button. It has Super bright LED tail light bulbs inside the original housing. I'm selling it because I ride a CR 500 2 stroke dirt bike and It is a monster to ride in the winter. I want to get a fuel injected 450 4 stroke for winter riding as well. I already have another street bike (Yamaha R6). I hate to see it go because its almost impossible to find a bike of this age in this condition with such low miles but I need the money for a fuel injected 450 dirt bike.

1980 Honda CB750F Super Sport. Had sat for many years when I purchased bike last summer. Frame was rusting in some areas, so I had it media blasted and powder coated by Classic Powder Coating, in Cordelia, CA. Bike has only 4,400 miles. Compression is 170 psi on all 4. I have rebuilt all brakes, new front master cylinder, new braided brake lines front & rear, new tires, new seat cover, new MAC 4 into 1 exhaust, new battery, new charging rotor, new ignitors, new NGK iridium plugs, new plug wires, new Dyna ignition coils, new starting solenoid, new headlight with integrated LED turn-signals, and 2 into 4 Mikuni VM34 Racing Carb set up that has been dynotuned by BRG Racing in Pacheco, CA. Runs great! It is a 35 year old bike, so there are a few scratches on the tank, and the side covers I got off of EBay are a little faded and have some cracks that are repaired, otherwise it turns a lot of heads! It has a clear CA title and is registered until Mar 2016. I am the 2nd owner and have a photocopy of the original pink that shows frame and engine are matching. I am asking $3500 or best offer. You will not find a similar bike in this condition with this low mileage. It will include original carbs, air-box, exhaust, service manual, original owners manual, and all receipts from parts and work done to her. $500 deposit within 48 hours of sale. Rest of payment will be made in cash when bike is picked up in person. Local pick-up by buyer only! NO SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE!
