Up for sale is a very nice 1980 cr250r that I purchased to run a few AHRMA events. Everything on the bike is new with 1 race on it except the engine which has 3 races on it as the previous owner stated. engine is strong with good compression. it has an 82 cr480 front fork assembly on it. Here is a list of what's been done to the bike. New tires New sprockets and gold chain New Pfr exhaust Custom aluminum brake stay Fox Airshox rebuilt All new seals and bushings in front forks New plastic and decals New seat New wide pegs New air filter All with 1 race on it. The bike is currently set up for a 190lb rider and is running on Sunoco 98 octane unleaded race fuel at 40.1. It does have very minor scratches and dents so look closely at photos before bidding. I do have a video of the bike running and more pics so just message me and I can get them to you. I had a bike like this in my early 20's and really hate to sell it but health issues and medical bills means the toys must go. 1980 Husqvarna CR 250, Great vintage bike in great condition. Current tags & clear title. - As with many motorcycle manufacturers, Husqvarna first began producing bicycles in the late 19th century. In 1903, they made the jump to motorcycle manufacturing. The first "Husky" motorcycles used imported engines, and it wasn't until 1918 that Husqvarna began producing machines built entirely in-house. Around that time they secured a contract with the Swedish Army and began entering cross-country and long-distance motorcycle racing events. In 1920, Husqvarna established its own engine factory and the first engine to be designed was a 550 cc four-stroke 50-degree side-valve V-twin engine, similar to those made by companies like Harley-Davidson and Indian. Although they once made motorcycles for street use, and raced at road circuits such as the Isle of Man TT prior to World War II, they are better known for producing world championship winning motocross and enduro bikes. In the 1960s, their lightweight, two-stroke engined off-road bikes helped make the once dominant British four-stroke motorcycles obsolete. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Husqvarna was a dominant force in the motocross world, winning 14 Motocross world championships in the 125 cc, 250 cc and 500 cc divisions, 24 enduro world championships and 11 Baja 1000 victories. Being offered is a 1980 Honda CR125, Racer. No expense was spared in the building of this bike, it is like new with only 3 heat cycles on the engine. The engine has all new OEM honda bearings, seals and gaskets, new steel and fiber clutch plates, The cylinder is on standard bore with new piston, rings, bearing, pin and clips. The carb is a rebuilt and jetted Keihin, new reeds are added also It has a NOS pipe with a dent free oem silencer. It has mint DID rims, New buchanon heavy guage stainless spokes and nipples, new tubes and locks, all new wheel bearings, seals and brake shoes, wrapped in new rubber. The front forks and trees are rust free 1980 cr250 originals, rebuilt with new seals and seal savers. The frame is solid, it has no repairs, rust, rewelds, crushed or damaged tubes, it has been powdercoated with RAL3020 in gloss red. The swingarm is powdercoated also, with new bearings and chain buffer. The rear shocks are 16" Fox airs, completely rebuilt by Thor also, they are in mint shape with no rash or damage, The chain rollers and sliders are new throughout, it has a new sprockets, 12t steel counter shaft and a 51t alloy Sprocket Specialties rear and a new black chain. The plastics are all new throughout, they are from VMX racing and very high quality, it has a new seat cover fitted over new seat foam also from VMX racing, the tank is a Oem 79 CR125 alloy unit that has been restored and is in perfect condition.It has new Vortex vintage bend bars , all the cables a NOS honda, it has period correct shorty levers, new Pro taper grips, side pull throttle and a new kill button. all bolts are new and stainless with stainless locknuts throughout. All axles and other hardware have been zinc plated back to original. Inside the uncracked air box is a new UNI Air filter. This bike runs and handles great, weight has been shaved off the bike wherever possible and it feels very nimble. It is very tight and feels like new. Sharp looking race bike.........Runs perfect/starts on first kick. Freshly rebuilt top end has two races on it. Strong running Trans is tight, shifts as it should, never pops out of gear. Frame off bead blasted frame, painted frame. New MIKUNI Carburator, makes it jump out of turns, (have old carb). NEW throttle cable, and throttle mechanism. New front fork seals/boots. New front rear wheel bearings. Newer progressive rear springs. new rear tire / good front. new air cleaner. dg silencer. good chain/sprockets. new seat cover. Rims painted gloss black, decent shape, back wheel was trued by local dealer. Brakes are in good shape and stop decent for drum. Bike raced Budds Creek ran great all day... as it should. It was only ridden on my lawn a few times since and has not been broken in Its in super cosmetic shape and needs nothing. All plastics were replaced, decals are in nice shape some bubbling on tank decals. Gas Tank is original and in very nice shape. Selling a nice clean vintage 1974 Honda MR50 Elsinore kids minibike. This is a neat little vintage machine that appears to be in great original condition. I dont know a ton about the MR50, but I was told this was all original. Sold with a bill of sale only. Not registered in the state of CA. I bought it to ride back and fourth to my mailbox. I have had it for about 2 years and it runs well. Tank and seat are in great shape for the bikes age. I think its all original, right down to grips, but I am not an expert on the MR 50's. The plastic is in great shape but has normal scuffing from age. Please look closely at the pics. I would not call it mint, but I would call it a very clean rider. Everything is straight, bars, levers, pegs. The brake lever tip is broke off, but its a clean break. This is a cool bike because it is both a two stroke AND it has a working clutch. All the other Honda mini's are four strokes and automatic. This would make a great addition to your collection or use as a pit bike or a rider. The boring stuff (but please read):Shipping: I suggest you use Daily Direct for transport.
