Up for sale is a very nice 1980 cr250r that I purchased to run a few AHRMA events. Everything on the bike is new with 1 race on it except the engine which has 3 races on it as the previous owner stated. engine is strong with good compression. it has an 82 cr480 front fork assembly on it. Here is a list of what's been done to the bike. New tires New sprockets and gold chain New Pfr exhaust Custom aluminum brake stay Fox Airshox rebuilt All new seals and bushings in front forks New plastic and decals New seat New wide pegs New air filter All with 1 race on it. The bike is currently set up for a 190lb rider and is running on Sunoco 98 octane unleaded race fuel at 40.1. It does have very minor scratches and dents so look closely at photos before bidding. I do have a video of the bike running and more pics so just message me and I can get them to you. I had a bike like this in my early 20's and really hate to sell it but health issues and medical bills means the toys must go. I have tried to describe the bike to the best of my ability so feel free to message me with any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer them. 1980 Yamaha Xs650 , Custom electronics oil bag, new battery. Electric and kick start. Forward controls are custom made and the shift is a kicker style, (one down and use your heel to shift up). Both the front and rear fender are now flat black. All of the manufactured parts on the bike were bought at TC Bros Choppers. The tank is Pasti Dipped and it was left alone. Runs great and is fun to ride. I have a HD so I don't need two bikes to ride. 1980 Honda CR250R Elsinore Bike is in Great Shape was rebuilt completely about 2 years ago. It was only ridden on my lawn a few times since and has not been broken in Its in super cosmetic shape and needs nothing. All plastics were replaced, decals are in nice shape some bubbling on tank decals. Gas Tank is original and in very nice shape. I has been stored in my climate controlled garage since I've owned it and currently has no gas in it and been properly stored Comes with a stand as well I need room and want it out fast. Being sold as-is where is. Payment is expected immediately at the end of auction. Paypal is required if you cannot pick up within 3 days of auction end. It won best Japanese over 400cc in a major motorcycle show in Chicago. I have broken down everything that has been done to each component of the motorcycle.ENGINE: There is just over 250 miles on the rebuilt engine. Bored 20 thousands over with new pistons, wrist pins, rings, and a valve adjustment. Performance oil filter and cooler kit.FUEL & AIR: Keihnen performance carburetors, with a Mike's XS 2 into 1 matching tuned exhaust.BRAKES: Honda R6 front master brake assembly and big dual front disc brakes and rotors. Stainless steel brake lines as well as a new rear master cylinder.SUSPENSION: New fork tubes with internal adjusters, Mike's XS front fork brace. Front forks been custom cut and lowered 2 1/2 inces.
