Being offered is a 1980 Honda CR125, Racer. No expense was spared in the building of this bike, it is like new with only 3 heat cycles on the engine. The engine has all new OEM honda bearings, seals and gaskets, new steel and fiber clutch plates, The cylinder is on standard bore with new piston, rings, bearing, pin and clips. The carb is a rebuilt and jetted Keihin, new reeds are added also It has a NOS pipe with a dent free oem silencer. It has mint DID rims, New buchanon heavy guage stainless spokes and nipples, new tubes and locks, all new wheel bearings, seals and brake shoes, wrapped in new rubber. The front forks and trees are rust free 1980 cr250 originals, rebuilt with new seals and seal savers. The frame is solid, it has no repairs, rust, rewelds, crushed or damaged tubes, it has been powdercoated with RAL3020 in gloss red. The swingarm is powdercoated also, with new bearings and chain buffer. The rear shocks are 16" Fox airs, completely rebuilt by Thor also, they are in mint shape with no rash or damage, The chain rollers and sliders are new throughout, it has a new sprockets, 12t steel counter shaft and a 51t alloy Sprocket Specialties rear and a new black chain. The plastics are all new throughout, they are from VMX racing and very high quality, it has a new seat cover fitted over new seat foam also from VMX racing, the tank is a Oem 79 CR125 alloy unit that has been restored and is in perfect condition.It has new Vortex vintage bend bars , all the cables a NOS honda, it has period correct shorty levers, new Pro taper grips, side pull throttle and a new kill button. all bolts are new and stainless with stainless locknuts throughout. All axles and other hardware have been zinc plated back to original. Inside the uncracked air box is a new UNI Air filter. This bike runs and handles great, weight has been shaved off the bike wherever possible and it feels very nimble. It is very tight and feels like new. 1980 Husqvarna CR 250, Great vintage bike in great condition. Current tags & clear title. - As with many motorcycle manufacturers, Husqvarna first began producing bicycles in the late 19th century. In 1903, they made the jump to motorcycle manufacturing. The first "Husky" motorcycles used imported engines, and it wasn't until 1918 that Husqvarna began producing machines built entirely in-house. Around that time they secured a contract with the Swedish Army and began entering cross-country and long-distance motorcycle racing events. In 1920, Husqvarna established its own engine factory and the first engine to be designed was a 550 cc four-stroke 50-degree side-valve V-twin engine, similar to those made by companies like Harley-Davidson and Indian. Although they once made motorcycles for street use, and raced at road circuits such as the Isle of Man TT prior to World War II, they are better known for producing world championship winning motocross and enduro bikes. In the 1960s, their lightweight, two-stroke engined off-road bikes helped make the once dominant British four-stroke motorcycles obsolete. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Husqvarna was a dominant force in the motocross world, winning 14 Motocross world championships in the 125 cc, 250 cc and 500 cc divisions, 24 enduro world championships and 11 Baja 1000 victories. Typical XR Honda - starts right up even after months of being stored in the shed. Runs, idles, goes through the gears, just as it should. Modifications I've made to the bike: - Kawasaki KLX110 front forks...nothing too fancy about that. Just had the forks sitting around and thought it would be an interesting swap. - 1980 CR80 rear shocks...just like we used to do back in the day to our XR's. - "XR MiniRacer" Snake Pipe...makes a better sound than the stock pipe and looks trick. If you don't know who XR MiniRacer is, google his web site. The engine mounts are also a product from there. - CR125 side panels - I think they look better than the stock side panels - Uni Filter pod-style air filter...helps the engine breathe easier with the aftermarket pipe - I had the frame powdercoated and the tank repainted to give it more of a CR "racer" look - Engine was completely rebuilt and actually has very few miles on it. Like I was saying, my son outgrew it before he put many hours on it - The black paint you see on the engine is not just rattle-can heat paint. It's Gun Kote...which helps dissipate the heat from the engine. This is a great bike for a 7-10 year old beginner rider. That's why I built it, so my son could learn how to ride. He's just outgrown it. But if you know anything about these bikes, adults can ride them, too! Makes a great pit bike (we always had people coming up to check it out at the race track) or a bike for the wife/girlfriend to ride As far as delivery, I can probably deliver the bike within a 100 mile radius of Phoenix, Arizona. If we can come to an agreement on that. Otherwise, THE BUYER (that's you) will have to arrange for shipping/pick up. The description shows that I will ship out of the country and unfortunately, I do not know how to change that. I would rather not have to deal with shipping out of the country. But if you are buying from outside the Continental United States, be sure you have a company that will come to my house to pick up the bike and guarantee that the bike will be delivered to you unharmed. 1975 Honda ELSINORE

This is an original, never been restored, 1975 Honda CR125M Elsinore. I purchased this motorcycle in 1980 and then moved from Washington State to South Dakota in 1983. This motorcycle has been stored in a climate controlled basement at my folks house since 1984. I recently moved it from the folks basement to my garage, and drained and flushed all fluids to include flushing the gas tank. Filled crankcase with new oil and mixed new gas and oil mixture. Performed other maintenance operations such as air filter cleaning and installed new handle-bar grips. Turned gas on and choked, and with a couple kicks of the kick-starter it fired up and ran like it did when I put it into storage. This bike is not perfect, It is 41 years old. I repaired a crack in the rear fender from when I purchased it back in 1980, and also the gear shift lever was replaced at that time. Look at the pictures, do your research, these bikes restored go from 7K to 8K. I have not found an original one in this condition in the past 2 years of research.
