1980 Yamaha yz50 that has been lightly restored. All parts are OEM and original to the bike except the seat cover, hand levers, tires, and aftermarket graphics. All plastics are in great condition except the front fender that has 4 cracks around mounting area (see pictures). These cracks have been in fender for over 15 years and have not changed. The motor has never been cracked open. The bike shifts though all the gears as it should and it runs excellent. It will always start within 3 kicks. The older Yamaha yz's are rapidly becoming collector bikes. Please email me with questions. The bike is located in Springfield MO. Buyer is to arrange shipping or make arrangements to pick it up.

1980 Maico 250 Ready to race AHRMA. Lawyer bought it from a doctor who explained that he had Maico Werks do all the prep back East. It has Mikuni Carb, Works Performance rear shocks, new fork seals, Terry cables, counter-shaft protector, aluminum ignition cover, Magura throttle and all the stuff you see in the photos. I believe he threw in a head, barrel. piston and a bunch of extra parts that he had and I would include that with tank stickers and all the Maico items I will look around for. If you are shorter in the inseam, you will appreciate the great ergonomics of the 1980. My friends always said it was the best handling Maico and very reliable. I am selling it because I have had no time to start another hobby again and the wife wants her garage area back. I don't need any help selling it as is to serious inquires please and cash only.

This is a well put together YZ100. Race Tech has reworked the forks and it has a trick equalization air piece that joins the two forks at the top. The stock pipe has been replaced with a handmade Jemco pipe. New Dunlop tires. The bike is tight and in good shape. There is a box of parts ordered from Race Tech with everything needed to rebuild the rear shock when the time comes. Perforated new DG tank graphics and a new seat cover and grips. Chain and sprockets are in good shape. Brakes are good. Tag handlebars. Cables are good, throttle is smooth, but the rubber piece coming out of the throttle is torn. I zip-tied it in place, works fine, just a bit unprofessional. Overall, a well sorted 100cc class screamer. A great start if you are thinking about racing any your local 100cc vintage race class or the Marty Tripes Revenge class. I had to put clear title because of the eBay process, but there is NO title, bill of sale only. There is no warranty with the bike. I can hold the bike for up to four weeks as long as payment is made. I took several photos, so let those be your guide as to the condition of this bike. This bike is for sale locally and I could end the auction at any time.
