1980 Suzuki Gs 750, 1980 Black Suzuki gs750L Survivor/ 15k/ 1 owner/ all origional/ not restored. About perfect paint, chrome, equipment. Very clean. Works as new. This is the limited edition 'L' model w/ many upgrades over 'E' model including mew 'tscc' 16 valve engine. Only add ons were 1980 K&N sissy bar and front foot pegs. All kinds of paperwork, manuals, documentation, warranties, even magazine articles. A few scratches, a l;ittle paint flaking on satin black brake reservoir, calipers and handlebar mounts (very easy touchup). Missing section of stripe on tank (have factory replacements). Very lite patina in little places. All these can be fixed-I wanted to show bike as Survivor-as i got it from origional owner 2 weeks ago! Killer collection machine. Never see one again. This bike was developed to 'Smoke' the 1000 Kaws/ and it did just that. Handled much better, and only bested by its big brother the Gs1100L....email for Many, many more photos and details. UP FOR SALE IS A BEAUTIFUL 1980 SUZUKI GS750L FINISHED IN GLOSS BLACK W/ ABOUT PERFECT CHROME, PAINT, AND EQUIPMENT....THIS BIKE IS CLEAN. 14K ORIGIONAL MILES/ YOU'D THINK THERE'S 5K ! BIKE IS MOSTLY ORIGIONAL WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A K&N SISSY BAR INSTALLED BACK IN 1980. ALSO INCLUDED IS NICE, ADJUSTABLE CHROME FOOTPEGS FOR LONG RIDES. REST OF BIKE, EXCEPT WEAR ITEMS, IS ORIGIONAL. THIS WAS THE UPGRADE, LIMITED EDITION MODEL GS750L, AND WAS ADDITIONALLY EQUIPPED WITH UPHELD HANDLEBARS, STEP TYPE LOW SEAT, NEW STYLE FUEL TANK (+4 MORE LITRES), SHORT CUT MUFFLERS, HALOGEN HEADLAMPS, AND NEW DESIGNED INSTRUMENT PANEL ADDED ON TO THE FUNDAMENTAL EQUIPMENT OF THE GS750E(BASE PACKAGE). IT ALSO HAS WIDER/LOWER REAR TIRE AND A LOWER SITTING POSITION. AUTOMATIC FUEL PETCOCK ROUNDS OUT THE CHANGES. THIS HAS THE NEW 16 VALVE 'TSCC' ENGINE AND WAS THE FASTEST PRODUCTION BIKE IN 1980 (EXCEPT FOR ITS BIG BROTHER-THE GS1100). THIS SUZUKI WAS DEVELOPED TO DIRECTLY COMPETE WITH THE 900, AND 1000cc KAWASAKIS, AND BEAT THEM BOTH WITH ITS 1/4 MILE TRAP TIMES. ALSO HANDLES MUCH BETTER THAN THEIR JAPANESE COUSINS. I HAVE PURCHASED NEW ENGINE SIDE COVER 'TSCC' DECALS, NEW AIR FILTER AND FACTORY PIN STRIPE KIT (WAS GOING TO RESTORE, BUT DECIDED TO LEAVE BIKE ORIGIONAL FOR NOW-CAN BE UPGRADED LATER, BY NEW OWNER, IF DESIRED). HAVE LINE ON OEM NEW HANDLEBARS($89), OEM NEW RT. BLACK SIDECOVER($69), AND A COUPLE OTHER SMALL ITEMS TO TRANSFORM THIS TO SHOW BIKE STATUS. WANTED TO SHOW HOW CLEAN THIS BIKE IS EVERYWHERE/ EVEN UNDER RT. AND LEFT SIDE COVERS AND UNDER SEAT. ORIG. TOOL KIT IS UNDER SEAT. BIKE HAS GREAT TIRES, BRAKES, BATTERY, AND RECENT MAINTENANCE. I BOUGHT THIS BIKE FROM THE ORIGIONAL OWNER A FEW WEEKS AGO, AND HE REALLY TOOK GREAT CARE WITH THIS MOTORCYCLE. ALWAYS HEATED STORAGE. DID ALL FACTORY MAINTENANCE HIMSELF INCLUDING ADJUSTING VALVES AND SYNCHRONIZING CARBS. THIS IS A SURVIVOR W/ SLIGHT 'PATINA' IN A COUPLE OF AREAS. ITS NOT PERFECT, I HAVE POINTED OUT A COUPLE THINGS THAT KEEP IT FROM 'DEAD MINT' CONDITION. NONE OF THESE FLAWS REALLY SHOW UP WHEN THIS BIKE PULLS UP ALONG SIDE OF YOU, OR RIDES ON BY. COULD BE A 'SHOW BIKE' WITH SOME TIME AND A COUPLE NOS PARTS. THE CHROME IS ALL ORIG. AND ABOUT PERFECT. EXHAUST SYSTEM AND MUFFLERS ARE EXCELLENT/ I SEE NO DINGS AT ALL. THE TANK IS GREAT EXCEPT FOR THE RT. SIDE WHERE THE FACTORY PIN STRIPE HAS 2 MISSING AREAS/ I GOT FACTORY PINSTRIPE TO REPAIR THIS AREA PERFECTLY. SOME SMALL SCRATCHES ON FRAME. THIS RIDE STARTS FIRST TIME, IDLES AS IT SHOULD, TAKES OFF AND SHIFTS LIKE NEW AND STOPS PERFECTLY. LOOK AT THE PICS AND SEE WHY I GET EXCITED!
