Up For Sale is a very nice Yamaha IT175 Enduro. It runs and rides very nice. The motor sounds good, shifts as it should and starts easy. The suspension is Firm and feels good. This is a very nice woods bike. The power is very smooth and the bike is very agile. This bike is a great Vintage model for all rider abilities. The headlight and taillight both work. Speedo and trip set work as well. The bike is very Original. The only part that has been painted is the Exhaust pipe. The exhaust springs were a little loose. I replaced them and painted the pipe as well. The kill switch broke at one point and a poor replacement was taped on. I do have a new Yamaha style kill button that will go with the bike. Also the lever on the petcock broke, you have to use pillars to turn the gas on and off. It could use a new front tire, the front has some cracks. Please ask any questions if you need to. Its seems it is hard to find Vintage Enduros in good condition like this IT. Most of these ridable CC displacement Enduros were ridden very hard and look it. This one does not. 1980 Yamaha IT 250. The engine has OUTSTANDING compression, shifts great, clutch works smooth as butter and has NO issues. The chain and sprockets have extremely low wear, Mono shock has good dampening, brakes work well. The only real issue with this great classic machine is..... the plastic!! It will need new side panels, front fender, rear fender and the gas tank will need to be stripped of the unsightly white paint! It is pretty ugly BUT look past that... It is in excellent mechanical condition!! The head light does not work I assume it needs a bulb but, I do not know for sure. You are welcome to drop me a line and arrange for a viewing, thoroughly check it out and hear it run NOTE: It is NOT a museum piece or NOS! It is an older vintage dirt bike that is in good mechanical condition. 1980 Yamaha XT 500 very nice condition garage kept. I got it out of storage put the battery in it after a long winters nap and it started second kick and now it starts first kick. My son was in town and rode it to the lake and around town (300 miles) and said it runs excellent all the maintenance has been done. Oil change valves adjusted cam chain tightened. Last year I put new chain and sprockets front and rear, Carb kit, battery all the stuff it needed to be in top condition. Due to physical disability I will never ride again so the best thing to do is sell it to someone who will enjoy it and have fun. I live in Wyoming so if you need an excuse to visit this state this is it enjoy yourself. I would prefer local pickup because I like to give the option of a test ride if it is not what you expected or as described I will refund your money. I will ship the bike after receipt of payment but the buyer is in charge of all the shipping arrangements. I have a clear title and can be signed over the same day as purchase. Please check vehicle condition in seller's notes and ask any questions you are unsure of. This is the lightest and most nimble of the legendary Yamaha International Trials line (IT). It has an incredible 11.8" of ground clearance and a nice seat height. Stored in my garage for over twenty years, I pulled it out and got it running again. See Vehicle condition section. Nice expansion chamber, frame has been stripped and painted black. Engine starts easily. Nice looking motorcycle, once restored it would be great for the ever increasing popular vintage hare scrambles in the 125 class. Light and quick on it's "feet" especially in tight corners and in the woods, a pleasure to ride all day long. Most parts are readily available through your local Yamaha dealer or right here on eBay. Add it to your collection or just getting it going to enjoy, or both. People tend to congregate around it. The 125s are not as common as the 175s making it just different enough to be a collector. Again, take a look through the vehicle condition section and ask questions, I'll do my best to respond. These motorcycles do not have an odometer so mileage is unknown and a number is placed in the mileage section of this ad as it's mandatory. 1980 Husqvarna CR 250, Great vintage bike in great condition. Current tags & clear title. - As with many motorcycle manufacturers, Husqvarna first began producing bicycles in the late 19th century. In 1903, they made the jump to motorcycle manufacturing. The first "Husky" motorcycles used imported engines, and it wasn't until 1918 that Husqvarna began producing machines built entirely in-house. Around that time they secured a contract with the Swedish Army and began entering cross-country and long-distance motorcycle racing events. In 1920, Husqvarna established its own engine factory and the first engine to be designed was a 550 cc four-stroke 50-degree side-valve V-twin engine, similar to those made by companies like Harley-Davidson and Indian. Although they once made motorcycles for street use, and raced at road circuits such as the Isle of Man TT prior to World War II, they are better known for producing world championship winning motocross and enduro bikes. In the 1960s, their lightweight, two-stroke engined off-road bikes helped make the once dominant British four-stroke motorcycles obsolete.
