Note: We will be listing this bike one time. If it does not sell it will be disassembled for parts. Classic 1982 CB750C Custom. This bike could be ridden while you restore it or serve as a nice start for customization or restoration. Please see the video at the link below as well as the pictures to see exactly what this bike is. Let's start with the positives in it's current state. It runs well and that includes the carburetion which seems to be working fine. The previous owner said the carburetors had been rebuilt. While we hear that often, it seems to be true for this bike. It has Oki higher power igniters, NGK wires, new regulator, new battery, new alternator stator and rotor, and new Kuryakyn Black ISO Grips. The seat is in great shape although we believe it is not the exact seat for this year model. It has also had the stock exhaust replaced with straight through 2 into 2 headers and pipes. We've had the bike in our store for a couple of weeks and it does not appear to leak oil as there are no spots at all beneath it. That said, It would need several smaller repairs to be ridden immediately. Those will be noted below. Cosmetics: The bike's tank and side covers have been re-painted at some point to the Honda factory brown metallic. The paint work is about a 6 on a scale of 1 - 10. There is pitting on the chrome in a number of places but nothing serious. One side cover has a broken top tab and someone attempted to fix the speedometer seal with duct tape. We also noticed that the bottom of the fuel tank at the seam (on both sides) has been repaired with some sort of epoxy. The tank does not leak and the inside of the tank is in good shape. The start switch housing has a piece of plastic broken off. Most everything else seems to be in decent shape but needs cleaning or polishing. Mechanicals: As previously noted, the bike runs well. We did notice that the first time we started the bike there was a little bit of blue smoke out the right pipe which usually means a valve seal, but it never had any smoke again after that initial start. To ride the bike right away a few things would need to be done which would include replacing the fork seals as well as the sprockets and chain. Also while the charging system has all new components it does not work. The rotor and stator test fine but what we found is that as soon as key feed is applied to the charging system the main fuse will blow. We believe the ignition switch itself may be bad. Could also be the harness going to the front but usually they don't have those sorts of issues. Fix those things and you should be able to ride it just fine. Lights and signals worked fine. Tires have good tread (probably one season rear and maybe two for front) but we don't know how old the tires are. Please note that this is a 30+ year old bike that needs some work. If you want a pristine bike or one that can be hopped on and ridden right out of the box this is not it. This is a decent Custom for someone who appreciates these kinds of bikes and is looking to enjoy or do something with it. $995/OBO Video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndapxoPKy1k&feature=youtu.be Please feel free to contact us for additional details. Thanks for looking and God Bless! Classic 1982 CB750C Custom. This is an unmolested bike that is ready to go and can be ridden as is or while you restore it if you like. It runs great and has been inspected (see video and pictures). It has new higher power igniters, new regulator, new battery, and the carbs have been cleaned. The seat is in great shape and the tires are in good condition. Cosmetically there is pitting on the chrome in most places including the rear fender and it would need paint if you want to restore it. The mechanics are sound with the only item we found being the choke must be held in position by hand when starting. Most of the chrome should clean up with some elbow grease based on the areas we tested. This was and is a popular bike so plenty of resources and parts are available for it. While this CB750 is a decent bike that's a great value, please remember that it is an older bike. If you're interested in a cosmetically pristine or near perfect bike this is not it. What it is however is a bike with a tradition of reliability and is a great starting canvas for you to just ride and enjoy, restore to it's original glory, or customize as you want it to be. Please see notes below as well as the video. $1295/OBO Video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cXtUMO42fg&feature=youtu.be Please contact us for additional details. Thanks for looking and God Bless!
