THE POWER DELIVERY IT'S ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, THIS IS THE BEST PERFORMING AND SOUNDING BIKE WE'VE MADE.IT SOUNDS LIKE A LAMBORGHINI WHEN YOU'RE LAUNCHING IT HERE'S A FEW SPECS Fresh oil change and filter (50 miles old)We ditched the old 4 keihin carburetors and installed dual 1 into 2 intake manifolds with brand new MIKUNI VM34s.There are many advantages given by these carbs:- Performance- Tuning capabilities - Maintenance (takes 1/4 of the time required for the OEM keihin) in most cases you don't even need to take them off the bike.But one of the most important advantages is the fact that they're controlled by cables vs vacuum created by cable movement. if you've dealt with the keihin you know that the slides stick, The exhaust is a 4 into 1 (no baffles) with lossa engineering reverse cone muffler We installed clip ons, Whiskey handgrips, installed custom brake line, new master cylinder ,new clutch lever mechanism and rebuilt the caliper. The headlight features a H4 cree led. No more dark, dangerous rides at night. We installed a dual 2.5" in speedometer /tachometer to preserve a minimalistic look of the bike, customized the wiring harness under the tank The tank comes from a honda 1975 CB750, frame and gas tank have been modified to fit.We used 250 automotive/motorcycle related stickers for the tank, they're outdoor grade and rated to last between 4 and 6 years. Further more we professionally sealed it with 10 layers of clear coat. that should give it more protection from the weather and UV rays. We installed a NEW "Battery Tender" lithium battery (non spillable) saving space and weight (it weights only 1 pound) we were able to fit it under the tank/seat with a custom bracket.New Gold chain and sprocket We also Installed new forks boots to keep the forks clean and at the same time to accomplish a specific look of the front end The bike rides and sounds wonderfully, it's a joy to ride and definitely a head turnerWATCH IN HD!! This 1982 Honda VF750S V45 Sabre was in running condition when stored 10 years ago.  It is an excellent candidate for restoration or a source of parts for your own V45 Sabre.HISTORYI'm the original owner.  Machine has lived in Los Angeles, CA area except for 2 years in VA during mid-90s.  It has always been garaged.  Driven in rain twice.  USEDaily driver for 5 years, weekend use til '95.  Then stored 10 years, recreational use a few years, stored til present day.  Odometer has 39K miles. Cosmetically good; spot rust thru chrome.MODIFICATIONSAdded "case saver" bar.  Installed 4-into-1 exhaust by RC Engineering (Russ Collins) and carbs re-jetted.  RC quality was disappointing; chrome too thin, muffler rusted through.  My cheesy fix w/ hose clamp & aluminum sheet is still in place. The OEM exhaust system is included.Humidity in my area makes DOT3/DOT4 fluid a problem.  I switched all my vehicles to DOT5 (silicone) fluid and love it lots.REPAIRS1982 was Honda's 1st year for the V4, and they had a design shortcoming in lubrication.  Honda replaced all 4 cams and 16 rockers under the warranty. The flow restrictor was removed to increase oil to the top end. I switched to synthetic oil (Amsoil).  No issues @ 39K miles; consider a ZDDP additive in future.  The stitching on the original seat failed; it was recovered with a similar aftermarket product.The fork tubes were replaced due to rust pitting on the leading surface.KNOWN PROBLEMSRubber turn signal mounts have rotted. You could hard-mount the lamps.Battery long dead. Hydraulics need to be overhauled. Front brakes still work but one caliper does not fully release. Clutch no longer functions; loss of fluid. Both M/C reservoirs have leaked DOT5 fluid that's loosened the grips. OEM rebuild kits for both M/Cs are included.The fiber optic feature in the integrated cable lock (alarm if cut) does not work. The cable is included.From extended storage, I would expect gum & corrosion in the fuel system, stuck vacuum-operated fuel valve, etc.INCLUDED ORIGINAL ACCESSORIESThe too-quiet OEM exhaust system, the FOIL (Fiber Optic Integrated Lock) cable, factory tool kit, ignition lock key.INCLUDED PARTSClutch Hub (almost new), Cam Chains (new), Cam Chain Tensioner Tower, Front Brake Master Cyl Rebuild Kit (new), Clutch Master Cyl Rebuild Kit (new), Fork Piston & Dust Seals, Front Brake Pads, Warning Unit Microcontroller (plastic case broken), Tail Light Lens (damaged; hole R side), 2 Oil Filters (1 Honda, 1 generic), Radiator Grill (re-installed after photos taken).
