1983 Harley-Davidson Roadster , 1983 Harley Davidson XLS 1000cc Ironhead Roadster. The bike is in really nice shape for its age. A great starter bike, short distance commuter or base for a custom build. Carb clean/rebuild this year. Asking $3500 Willing to negotiate, will accept a reasonable offer. Just had a baby, wife wants it gone, must sell now!!! Two DOT SIMPSON, Harley Davidson Shorty like new helmets included, XL and S and a 375 page service, repair, maintenance manual that explains in detail anything and everything you will ever need to do on the bike. This is a 1983 Harley Sporster 1000cc Ironhead motorcycle. It has 40,900 miles on it. It's really dependable. It has had regular maintenance since I bought it about 5 years ago. It just had its transmission rebuilt. The tank and front fender are custom. The rear fender is original and has some wear. The pipes are wrapped. I put drag bars on and took the back seat and windshield off. (Original bars/windshield/back seat included with sale, as well as the battery tender) It barely leaks oil. It is kept on a battery tender. And while it sits outside, it is always covered. the only real problems are that there is a short with the blinkers so they don't work at the moment (probably an easy fix) and the speedometer needle is broken off, but the odometer still works. I love this bike. It's really fun, and sounds great! I unfortunately don't have time to ride it at the moment. So I hope to find someone who loves him as much as I do.
