1983 FLT Tour Glide 1340cc 5 speed Shovelhead Harley. She is officially an antique with matching engine and frame VINs. This is a 2 owner bike. All engine work has been completed by licensed Harley mechanics. Engine was rebuilt in 2010 and has around 37,000 miles on it. I had all engine gaskets replaced in 2014. Tranny was rebuilt in 2012. She also has an Andrews J grind cam, polished heads, Rivera Pro clutch package, oil cooler, upgraded 32 amp stator in 2012. Mustang seats, detachable sissy bar and windshield, LED head and tail lights, red LED engine lights, dual 138 decible air horn, Black Widow floor boards, highway pegs, shifter, brake and grips. Rear pegs are Sickshooter .44 s. Exhaust is Paughco true duals. I've got around $27,000 in her. According to Kelly Blue book, a fair price is the book value plus 30% of the add ons you have receipts for. This puts my selling price at $12,000. I really want her to go to a good home where someone will ride her. I will also include windshiel, larger rear seat and larger sissy bar pad. Doc

1983 FXSB. Clear title in my name, current registration and matching numbers. Just over 1500 miles on fresh top end. Fresh means new S&S jugs, Weisco 8.5:1 pistons, and S&S heads. Rocker arm spacers were counterbored for end play, not shimmed. Everything assembled with Cometic MLS gaskets. Vulcan hydraulic lifters and rebuilt oil pump. Brand new LePera seats. Pughco drags with KW baffles. All new Russell stainless floating brake discs. Rebuilt calipers and new pads. Rod shake and up/down movement was absolutely perfect when checked 1,500 miles ago. Has S&S E carb, Andrews J cam. Brand new head to tail wiring harness. All factory connectors and colors. New Pirelli tires. All new bearings - neck, wheels, swing arm, outer primary, inner primary. 4 speed rotary close ratio 3rd, 2.44:1 1st gear - rebuilt with ALL Andrews gears and shafts. BDL Competitor clutch. This bike came from the factory with primary and final belt drive. The original primary drive was upgraded to the BDL pulleys. Final drive was upgraded to the BDL transmission pulley, but maintains the stock ratio. Bike needs nothing. Paint is poor on tanks as you can see in pictures. Hipsters pay big bucks to get new paint jobs to look like this. Bike vibrates less than most Evos. Rides straight and smooth.

1983 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead , 1983 SHOVELHEAD 80 FLHP ELECTRA GLIDE POLICE SPECIAL: The odometer reads 36K but mileage is EXEMPT. The title is free and clear. T It has been customized with care not to devalue. There were only 334 in production for this year and model. It has beautiful patina and shows well. It comes with a mustang solo and mustang dual seats, detachable windshield, removable hard bags, & sissy bar. It has crash bars with forward pegs, floor boards and custom under tank L.E.D. lighting that can be programmed to blink or change through several colors. It can be configured many ways depending on how you wish to ride it. I will also be providing a ton of spare parts including a spare rear fender a spare set of front a rear chrome spoke wheels with tires, a new exact year speedometer still in box and steel braided hoses. I will also provide the rear crash bars and all the chrome tubing for saddle bags and rear fender. I chose not to install all the chrome tubing as bare bones was more to my liking. It is equipped with free floating front disc brakes and the rear brakes are disc as well. It has the well known four speed transmission and the factory ELECTRIC START is even more rare for this model. It has chrome tombstone type rear lights, chrome tunnel ram air-cooler for rear cylinder, chrome front brake caliper cover, twin true Fishtail exhaust and a S&S Super G carburetor. I and the previous owner are both Marines and collectively have put a great deal of love into this motorcycle. As mentioned this bike is a POLICE EDITION. It was sold from Harley Davidson to the Baltimore police department in 1983 and sold subsequently after service at auction. Baltimore PD is listed as the first owner. This bike has less than 100 miles since its last service including hot plug wires (red), new plugs, and the primary, engine and gear box have been flushed and filled with synthetic oils. It is currently available for Historic Antique Registration in NJ. This bike does have a couple leaks as it is a SHOVELHEAD and it will mark its spot. The custom paint was done in 2009 and is charcoal with silver flames a red vinyl lettering with black outline. The paint is showing some wear with nicks and chips here and there. The motorcycle cranks and runs well as it should. The four speed transmission shifts properly. The baffles are removable. It comes with toggle-on-off four ways and toggle-on-off triple tree lights. I attempted to be as thorough as possible for those wishing to purchase. The bottom line is this is one BAD- SHOVELHEAD that hauls butt and get looks from everybody. 1983 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead , Ready to ride! - ONE owner. This is not a project bike. You need to see this bike to appreciate its true beauty. This was one of many bikes owned by my father who recently passed so unfortunately I am unable to provide specifics or details about any enhancements. Custom motor built 2010 only has 2900 miles on the new motor, new Andrews, performance clutch, New drive belt and sprocket. shorty pipes that blow fire and loud, Loud Mule horn! I have a 1983 harley shovelhead. This bike is ridiculously awesome and turns heads everywhere. I have dirty air rear air, 26" front MAD solid wheel, custom 26" fender, harley daymaker with halo ring, custom handle bars, stretched tank, 4.5 streched bags with molded in side covers, plasma rod tailights, custom made seat, BLD primary belt drive with chrome primary cover, rockford fosgate 300wx4 amp with 2 6x9 jl audio speakers in each lid for a total of 4, lithium battery. This bike in person will blow your mind wins everywhere it goes.
