I had several of these motorcycles at my aircraft hanger in San Diego, with just about every new spare part you can think of. I moved them here to my home on Lake Erie where I decided to fix them up. These bikes were very popular in Southern California. They were fast, shaft driven, four bangers with dual front disc brakes and anti-dive. The lifters are hydraulic and maintenance free. They are exceptionally well built having worked on them a lot in my spare time. This bike has the following new parts: 1. Completely rebuilt new carbs. Even the felt washers were replaced on the throttle shafts. 2. New air intake boots and intake engine manifold boots. 3. It has a brand new fuel tank, ignition switch, gas cap, and helmet lock set. 4. A brand new set of coils, NKG plugs and spark wires. 5. It has brand new fork tubes and bushings, rebuilt front fork seals, and rebuilt front brake calipers. The brake and clutch master cylinders were rebuilt. The slave cylinder was rebuilt and the clutch springs and disks are well within tolerance. 6. It has new horns (better design) and a new front light. 7. It has a near mint exhaust system and a nice spare one to go with the bike. 8. It has a new gel cell battery and starter solenoid. The control switches and cables were all cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled. 9. New rings were installed and the head given a valve job, while replacing the valve stem oil seals. The bike idles nicely at 500 rpm and the carbs have yet to be adjusted. The alternator was rebuilt and bench tested. It works perfectly. 10. It has new front and rear brake pads. The rear shocks are fine. 11. The starter has been rebuilt and a another rebuilt starter come with the bike. 12. The anti-dive has new seals and boots. The gearshift drum cover has new seals and the shifter has new boots. I have many spare parts and a complete engine with less than 200 miles on it for an additional $600.00, if you want it. Not even broken in. The engine is complete with oil filter and cooler assembly. You will not find one like this anywhere. The engine still has it's original factory markings on it. The timing and clutch covers have some scuffs on it, as you can see in the pictures, which are easily removed and buffed out. I have new exhaust valves, intake valves and valve stem guides with the removal, installation tool and a valve guide reamer. These are fast great bikes, fun to own, and fuel efficient. 1983 Honda Cb 650SC NIGHTHAWK, I am selling my 1983 Honda Nighthawk. The bike is in very good condition. It has roughly 17,000 miles but will go up slowly as I continue to ride it now that the weather is warming up. Everything is in working condition, I am just looking to upgrade to a bigger bike. This was my starter bike but it was never laid down. I changed the oil and ran stabil through the tank before winter storage. The bike is always garage kept with a cover on it. Unless I get caught in the rain. The tires are in great shape. The front was replaced summer 2014. The rear is the same tire from when I purchased the bike but it still has about 70% tread left. It will easily finish this riding season.I had the clutch slave cylinder rebuilt Fall 2014. The bike also got a new battery at the start of this riding season. All it needs is front brake pads but those will be replaced this weekend if it isn't sold before. I also have a full cover that will come with it. I have both the records from the tire and the clutch rebuild from the shops where it was performed. This bike needs absolutely nothing to be ready to ride tomorrow. $1,500.00

1983 Honda Cb 550SC NIGHTHAWK, I'm one of those guys who got too excited about the first engine with two wheels I saw and am now over my head in getting my nighthawk titled and on top of that, my financial aid came up $4,000 short this semester so I'm in pretty serious need of cash. I bought it and rode it on and off for the last 9 months. It doesn't have engine or transmission issues but it is a bit bruised and has some rust here and there. Just a heads up, it is not titled so you will have to go to the dmv and fill out some paperwork. I have a folder of the information on the bike including the last registered owner. Please trust me, this bike is not stolen. I purchased a check on this bike before I bought it to be sure myself. Now the good: -I'm including in the price above a bunch of extra parts as seen in the pictures -I have started and ran it at least once a month since I bought it in December of last year. -It does run fine. The Bike -Has four brand new turn signals -Brand new ignition switch and two keys -I have both the original left and right side covers in matching black plastic It is rough but please give me a break. I know that these can be parted out for good money if you want to go that route but I've also seen them personalized really well!
