This is your chance to own the motorcycle that started the sportbike revolution. The 1983 HONDA INTERCEPTOR VF750F was revolutionary when it was introduced. This bike was the first of its kind to be a streetbike with serious race bike potential. I raced it for several years and did some track days with it. I added many upgrades to the bike like braided steel brake lines front and rear and the clutch line is also a braided steel line. The clutch was redone with Barnett Kevlar clutch place and hi performance clutch springs. Progressive wound front fork springs and a Fox Twin Clicker Rear Shock. Also a K&N high flow air filter. The bike has good Metzler tires front and rear with plenty of tread still on them. I also added a special handle bar mount that allows any style of 7/7' handlebars to be installed. i put in a set of almost flat bars with just a little rise and a little wider than stock for extra leverage. I easily dragged my knees with this bike in just about any corner on the track as it is very stable. I have several trophies from my racing days although no 1st places. The engine is completely stock and has never needed to come apart. the valves are very easy to adjust with the engine still in the frame. . The original INTERCEPTOR is highly collectible and as such there was a pristine version(not mine) in the Guggenhiem museum when the Art of the Motorcycle show was there. I bought the bike in 1983 with only 600 miles on it. It has been a very reliable machine for the time i had it. The side stand is still there but i do not have a center stand for it. I will throw in the saddle bags that are red and white. They are soft leather and can both hold quite a bit of stuff. I also have an extra gas tank that is Blue and White that i will iinclude in the deal if you want it. The bike is for pick up only or the seller can arrange to have it picked up and shipped to them.
