Recent work:New rear tire (15 miles on it!)New fork oil seals and dust covers. New fork oil.All 4 carbs were disassembled/ cleaned/ new float valves and bowl gaskets. New battery.New rear differential oil.New engine oil/ oil filter.New font brakes and brake/clutch fluid.New valve cover gasket and seals.It starts up easy. 1983 Honda 650 Nighthawk. 5 Speed with Over Drive. 27000 original miles. All Original. Runs great. FAST! Needs a little cosmetic work, otherwise rides great. I have done nothing to this bike since purchasing it except change the oil and oil filter. Some small flaws from it possibly being dropped on left side. Tires are good. Paint faded. Small dent on left side of tank, easily fixed when painted. No rust in tank. Exhaust is near perfect, some scarring from a possible battery leak, fully functional. No oil leaks. Left rear blinker broken, all dash components functional, including the gas gauge. Seat has a seam that needs repair, about 4-6 inches. Suspension in excellent condition. Drive shaft in excellent condition. Rims excellent condition. Side panels: left side has some cracks. Title is clear. All flaws are easily fixed. This was going to be my next nighthawk project bike. But I am to busy to take it on. Well worth the price. A great price for a lot of fun!

I had several of these motorcycles at my aircraft hanger in San Diego, with just about every new spare part you can think of. I moved them here to my home on Lake Erie where I decided to fix them up. These bikes were very popular in Southern California. They were fast, shaft driven, four bangers with dual front disc brakes and anti-dive. The lifters are hydraulic and maintenance free. They are exceptionally well built having worked on them a lot in my spare time. This bike has the following new parts: 1. Completely rebuilt new carbs. Even the felt washers were replaced on the throttle shafts. 2. New air intake boots and intake engine manifold boots. 3. It has a brand new fuel tank, ignition switch, gas cap, and helmet lock set. 4. A brand new set of coils, NKG plugs and spark wires. 5. It has brand new fork tubes and bushings, rebuilt front fork seals, and rebuilt front brake calipers. The brake and clutch master cylinders were rebuilt. The slave cylinder was rebuilt and the clutch springs and disks are well within tolerance. 6. It has new horns (better design) and a new front light. 7. It has a near mint exhaust system and a nice spare one to go with the bike. 8. It has a new gel cell battery and starter solenoid. The control switches and cables were all cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled. 9. New rings were installed and the head given a valve job, while replacing the valve stem oil seals. The bike idles nicely at 500 rpm and the carbs have yet to be adjusted. The alternator was rebuilt and bench tested. It works perfectly. 10. It has new front and rear brake pads. The rear shocks are fine. 11. The starter has been rebuilt and a another rebuilt starter come with the bike. 12. The anti-dive has new seals and boots. The gearshift drum cover has new seals and the shifter has new boots. I have many spare parts and a complete engine with less than 200 miles on it for an additional $600.00, if you want it. Not even broken in. The engine is complete with oil filter and cooler assembly. You will not find one like this anywhere. The engine still has it's original factory markings on it. The timing and clutch covers have some scuffs on it, as you can see in the pictures, which are easily removed and buffed out. I have new exhaust valves, intake valves and valve stem guides with the removal, installation tool and a valve guide reamer. These are fast great bikes, fun to own, and fuel efficient.
