1984 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk 700 S, An American Hot Rod - Honda marketed the CB700SC (also called Nighthawk 700S) in the US from 1984 to 1986, configuring the bike's specification to avoid a 1983 US tariff on motorcycles over 700 cc. Motorcycle Classics magazine dubbed the CB700SC Nighthawk 700 S "An American Hot Rod." The Nighthawk S features a 700 cc engine, shaft drive and hydraulic lifters in a bike with angular lines, a small "bikini" fairing and a 16-inch front wheel more typical of a sport bike. The exhaust is a four-into-two finished in black chrome. The engine is enameled mostly in black with brushed satin silver trim. Other components are also enameled in black including the lower fork legs, handlebars, and rear grab rails. 28,264 miles on the clock. 95% Original. Not pristine, but very clean. Some fading, scrapes and scratches (See Photos) Shaft drive. Hydraulic lifters - never need adjustment. Seat has been re-covered with good quality aftermarket cover. Has Pro-Grip handgrips Has miniature rear turn signals Avon Tires in good condition with good tread Carbs just synchronized. 100 miles on change of all oils, fluids and oil filter. Fresh North Carolina Safety Inspection Everything works as it should. Was $2,400.00, which is the Kelly Blue Book value. Price reduced to $1,999.00 FIRM

1983 Honda Cb 550SC NIGHTHAWK, I'm one of those guys who got too excited about the first engine with two wheels I saw and am now over my head in getting my nighthawk titled and on top of that, my financial aid came up $4,000 short this semester so I'm in pretty serious need of cash. I bought it and rode it on and off for the last 9 months. It doesn't have engine or transmission issues but it is a bit bruised and has some rust here and there. Just a heads up, it is not titled so you will have to go to the dmv and fill out some paperwork. I have a folder of the information on the bike including the last registered owner. Please trust me, this bike is not stolen. I purchased a check on this bike before I bought it to be sure myself. Now the good: -I'm including in the price above a bunch of extra parts as seen in the pictures -I have started and ran it at least once a month since I bought it in December of last year. -It does run fine. The Bike -Has four brand new turn signals -Brand new ignition switch and two keys -I have both the original left and right side covers in matching black plastic It is rough but please give me a break. I know that these can be parted out for good money if you want to go that route but I've also seen them personalized really well! I'm welcome to answer any questions and fyi, it does come with a full tank of gas! $1500 OR BEST OFFER BUYS THE BIKE AND ALL OF THE PARTS IN ONE BUNDLE!!!!!! Thanks and I'd appreciate it if you could help out a new motorcyclists and college student out! Michael P.S. Feel free to call early or late. I'm up till around 11 every night and I am willing to deliver it to you at NO EXTRA CHARGE within reasonable distance of Puyallup. I've got a pickup, ramp, ratchet straps, and a tarp if necessary so transporting it is no issue. The only trade I would be really interested in would be a good running Mazda RX-7 with a clear title. I have a Craigslist post which includes a few more pictures. Feel free to search for 1983 Honda cb550sc. $1,500.00
