I am asking $500 O.B.O. for this bike.48,6XX miles. It runs and drives! I Commute to collage on this bike, twice a week to eau claire from barron. Has served me very well and is very reliable.Excellent for a beginner bike!! Or a restoration project! Or just a cheap way for transportation!Recently bought a bigger bike, thats why I’m selling. Has a few minor issues and some cosmetic work needed, thats why its priced low. Hard to find a fully running and drivable bike for under 800 bucks.Good:- new battery- rebuilt & cleaned carbs- comes with large saddle bags- new front tire (put on this spring)- compression is excellent- new plugs (comes with another too)- valves and timing chain adjusted.- fresh oil change.- adjustable sissy bar/ back rest for solo or double.- runs & drives- will get you from point a to point b- new fuel pump.- comes with another clutch pack and basket assembly.- new battery this spring- cleaned and coated inside of tank.- plenty of power, gets up and scoots for a 500- all lights work (except speedo light)- has crash cage and highway pegs.- low seat height.- light bike, good for a beginner.- engine flushed.- I am sure there is more I am forgetting.-45+ mpg!!Bad:- Tank needs to be re-painted (not rusty)- clutch is weak when riding double. (comes with clutch kit assembly)- dings, scrapes...etc. think previous owner dropped it. - handle bars are a tiny bit off it seems (still safe and comfortable)- front brakes a little soft. ($25 kit, still work, Back work great)- burnt out light bulb on speedo. Hard to read at night. Tach backlight works good.- leaks a little oil.- last season for back tire.- Only has left side mirror. No joy rides, test drives welcomed.

I WILL NOT CRATE, SHIP OR DELIVER. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY AT MY SHOP IN HAMBURG, NJ 07419. Time-wasters, tire-kickers and low-ballers will be ignored. I just don't have time for folks who want to nitpick every little thing and try to get the bike for next to nothing. The bike is exactly as it is shown in the photos and described in the listing. No more and no less. $250 immediate payment through pay pal and the balance must be paid in cash within 3 days. The bike is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. The bike has a Pennsylvania title. I will also provide a printed and signed bill of sale. Actual mileage is unknown. It only has a trip odometer, not a speedometerI just serviced the motor with fresh oil & K&N oil filter, new NGK D7EA spark plug, new Hyperpak CDI box w/improved timing curve for more power and easier starting ($169), new OEM ignition coil ($100.31), a new clutch cover gasket (old one had a very small leak), new UNI air filter, valve adjustment, decompression cable adjustment, carb cleaning & rebuild w/new OEM internals, new chain & sprockets & new OEM replica TT tank graphics. The only things the bike is missing are the side covers and tool kit. It starts within 1-2 kicks when cold, first kick when warm, runs great, idles smoothly all day, doesn't run hot or leak a drop, goes through the gears flawlessly and has all the power you would expect from a 600cc 4 valve 4 stroke engine (and then some!). The clutch is good, brakes are good, suspension is a little soft, but not blown, the headlight, tail light & trip odometer all operate properly. Make a reasonable offer and you could end up owning this big bore beast! $250 Deposit through pay pal is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The balance is to be paid in cash upon pick up within 3 days. No checks, credit cards, money orders, bank checks, NO EXCEPTIONS. ONLY CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. If you have less than a 50 feedback rating, please contact me before bidding, otherwise your bid will be removed. Also, if you don’t plan on paying, please don’t bid. Prospective buyers who are seriously interested are more than welcome to make an appointment to see the bike in person. I’m available Monday-Friday 9am-4pm and Saturday 9am-noon.

Here I have my 1983 Yamaha XT 250 for sale! I bought it a year ago as the 3rd owner and runs like a champ!!! When I bought I replaced every bearing on the bike, brand new chain and sprockets, rebuilt the carb. Brand new tires and tubes were installed. There are only 4958 Original Miles! The seat is original with no tears and a Team Yamaha upgraded rear coilover shock. There are a few nicks in the paint on the gas tank, the head light brackets need to be repainted and there is a little surface rust on the exhaust header. Local Pickup or will meet within a reasonable distance, if buyer wants to ship, buy pays for shipping.

1982 Yamaha Virago 750, Very nice bike. I've owned it since 1983. The original owner ran into the back of a truck and it scared him so bad, he quit riding. I replaced the forks and it is as good as new. It was never ridden much and now it's odd man out. Need to sell it. $1,250.00 3039126885

Superb, Fast & Great Fun!! 1985 Yamaha RD350LC YPVS Frame number: JYA1EL009FA000780 Engine number: 1EL 000780 Yamaha have a long tradition of building notably sporting two-strokes, some of their all-time greats being the RD250 and RD350 ranges so beloved of 'seventies street-racers. Introduced in 1983, the RD350LC was the evolution of Yamaha's RD350 of 1972 to 75 production. Built between 1980 and 1986, the second series RD sported a liquid cooled, 347cc reed valved 2-stroke engine and was a genuine 120 mph road-smoker, equipped with the 'Yamaha Power Valve System'. The YPVS was a variable exhaust port valve that was controlled by a basic computer. The YPVS could open and close the valve to move the height of the exhaust port and thus affect the exhaust port timing. This provided lower RPM torque while retaining high RPM power. In the USA, the RZ came with catalytic converters for emissions requirements, and was the first motorcycle to do so. It was only sold in California in 1985, as the RZ350NC, and had an EVAP canister and an additional catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe header to meet California emission regulations. The RZ350 was also the first Yamaha street bike sold in the USA that used a "perimeter" frame that uses rails around the underside of the fuel tank as opposed to the standard frames of the era, which ran as a spine under the center of the fuel tank. The 1985 Kenny Roberts Edition RZ350LC offered here is one of the quite rare leftover models with revised graphics that somewhat resembled the 1983 UK versions, but with gold rims and the Kenny Roberts signature, originally sold as an RZ350NC2 in California only from late 1985-6. It has been owned from new by only two enthusiasts and has been very tastefully modified with an original 1985 full fairing and Corbin Gunfighter single seat. Mechanically, the hugely desirable Pro-Design Cool Head was installed for increased cooling, and a Toomey exhaust. The bike runs exceptionally well. It starts easily, idles well and has great power delivery. It shifts through all gears perfectly with a good clutch. Suspension feels taut and the brakes work very well, front and rear. Cosmetically the bike is in good condition with the usual scuffs of a bike with 17,000 miles, that is 32 years old. The bike comes with a clean, clear California title and a substantial box of spare parts, including stock fairing, original exhaust pipes, turn signals, etc. These are not bikes for the inexperienced or faint-hearted, with huge wheelie-popping performance on tap when the revs rise.

* * * This bikes two Cousins (also cosmetically restored by us in our shop) that were Just Featured at the "WORLDS LARGEST MOTORCYCLE SHOW" In our"Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Clubs" Booth ! * * Please see pictures below * * ! ! ......YES ! As of the last couple of days for the first time in Decades ...This AMAZING Vintage Bike is "Now Running" I have driven her up & down my black about 10+ times in the last day or two !!!!! "HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THIS VINTAGE EXAMPLE of Classic Motorcycle History ..."EYE CANDY' ....IN YOUR GARAGE" ! * * * I will have a Video in the next day or two if you email me your direct email site I will email you the UTUBE Video link Please Do Not Bid on this item until you have read the auction in it's Entirety (IE) When You Bid you are entering a Legal Contract & not being responsible just ruins it for everyone involved in this auction...Thank You. * * Also, I am unsure of the exact year of this Wonderful bike but I can tell you with Great Certainty it is either a 1969 or a 1970 SUZUKI TS 250 ENDURO * * These early TS 250 SUZUKI's are very Rare & unfortunately all of the serial number guide web sites only cover the more common 1970-1971 & up year Suzuki's Vintage ~ 1969 -70 Suzuki 250 cc T.S. "SAVAGE" ENDURO bike (Very Similar to the Original 1968-71 YAMAHA 250 DT-1 ENDURO). These are Original TS 250 SUZUKI's are becoming Very Hard to find these days !!! ...as most people are just not selling them out of their Vintage Bike Collections & Nice Examples of these are very rarely coming up for sale. Very complete Vintage "TS 250" ENDURO, project with a nice Fresh cosmetic Restoration (IE) most all of the main components of the bike were removed down to nearly her bare frame (IE) front & rear Wheels, tires, engine, oil & gas tanks ,seat air box etc etc) most everything was cleaned repainted & re installed. I think this bike is still fairly Original (IE) She has her: original Metal Airbox,, Frame , Swing Arm, Forks, Exhaust Muffler with Heat Shield , Headlight, Tail Light and & original Seat base (with Brand New foam & New upholstery), Original Gas tank & even her Original Oil tank. Also, present are a Suzuki Tachometer & Speedometer (I do not have the drive cables, should be available on ebay etc) This beautiful Bikes Mileage may not be accurate for this bike as like the head & tail lights, the Speedo & Tach gauges were off the bike & in a box when I got them. .It has her Original Suzuki 250 Gas Tank & Oil Tank Gold & Chrome Gas Tank & Oil Tank Metal Bright work Badges, Factory SUZUKI Chrome Forks , & she even her Fork Dampener, original swing arm, +FAR superior updated "BOGE" Rear Shocks, and Brand New HUGE 460 X 18" "TRAIL WINNER" Dual sport Rear Tire. She appears to have her main Original wire loom that runs from the engine to up under the fuel tank, However, she was last purposed as a Off Road bike. When new did the Cosmetic restoration as detailed above & below ) I re-installed the lights etc that were given to me in a box from the prior owner. so at this time they are present & installed on the bike but are not electrically connected , the main wire loom looks to be their & she has her lighting stator (altinator) & the switching & wire in in the laft portion of the handlebar . She has TS 250 Tachometer and Speedometer Gadges are possible slightly newer TS 250 & she will need the cables to connect them if that is something you want to do.. . The kick starter works & also, engine turns over well + she has good Compression, however I have not tried to start her. (I am guessing she may have a lose connection or a faulty coil ?) Otherwise, it is my guess that she would start up.. Unfortunately, at this time we lost our storage and I am now in a position I need to make room here as soon as possible. Also, She has a updated ~New chain, updated Front Fender, new unbreakable rear fender. basically at this point ...She just needs some fairly Minor finishing touches. * * I was told these Early TS 250's can NADA value guide up to just under ~ $6,000.00 You can Steal this Beauty for a small fraction of that. So ..Please, No Low Ball offers This is a No Brainer Deal on a True Classic & Very RARE & Very Beautiful + Very Collectable Vintage Historic Motorcycle (Again, These are becoming Very hard to find these days !!! Again, Please No Low Ball offers. ...As I have a lot of Time & Effort into this Wonderful Classic Bike.. These Wonderful Early Classic Vintage TS 250 cc ENDURO's are: Fairly Light Weight , Very Nimble, Very Quick & Very Well Balanced + Very "FUN" + Super Easy to Ride ...So when You get this Beauty all worked out & Running & ready to run down the Highway again... In Fact When I am sitting on this beauty I am only ~ " from the ground. the seat ...& Static (without the riders weight on the seat) ...the seat is around " from the ground ...Either way this Wonderful bikes seat is Extremely Low for a Bike With anywhere near ~Super Bike Level of fun & Classic Styling ! ! ! * * Please Note * * Recently (December 2013) this auctions bikes' cousins (IE) that were also built by us) the other Two of our bikes a 1978 RM SUZUKI 250 (Yellow) & also our ELSINORE CR 250 (Green / Aluminum) we Displayed at the "WORLDS LARGEST" MOTORCYCLE SHOW" (the Los Angeles Cycle World / Progressive Motorcycle Show, (Los Angeles, California Area)..in Our "Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Clubs" Booth earlier (December 6, 7 & 8th 2013). Look to the right of the 3rd pictures which shows a Local Los Angeles TV News Crew interviewing Out VGMC Clubs President (in the Red & White Shirt) on the Shows Opening day ! ! ! PLEASE NOTE: Over the last three years we have shown "EIGHT" Vintage Motorcycles at this Show alone. > PLEASE NOTE:Above are 4 Pictures are not of this auctions bike but are of this bikes 2 cousins (IE) two other bikes we also built & restored our other Vintage Racing: the (Yellow) 1978 SUZUKI RM 250's & the (Aluminum & Green) Vintage CR Elsinore 250 Vintage Race bike (Dec. 2013) we Displayed at the "WORLDS LARGEST" MOTORCYCLE SHOW" (the Cycle World / Progressive Motorcycle Show, (Los Angeles, California area)..in Our "Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Clubs" Booth earlier (December 7-8-9th 2013). Also, The White & Black Suzuki Road Racer at the end of he row next to our VJMC clubs sign (3 bikes to the right of our yelow 250 RM Suzuki)... was one of two bikes of it's Exact type in Existence and I was told by most everyone there that it was Pretty much "Priceless" ! Again * * "PLEASE READ THIS AUCTION ENTIRELY " * * "BEFORE BIDDING" * * & Please Bid Responsibly ..In fairness of Everyone involved in this auction..."As Ebay Recommends" .. "Please come by & see this AMAZING Bike "BEFORE YOU BID" ...Again, If you live fairly Close & you are a serious Buyer ..I Invite you to Please Come By & Check her Out " LONG BEFORE YOU BID" ...As this item requires a 500 dollar NON Refundable Good Faith Deposit...& As Ebay will tell you "Your Bid is a Legal & Biding Contract & should be taken Seriously" ..as Irresponsible Bidding only Ruins EVERYTHING for EVERYONE else involved in the auction. Here is some More GREAT NEWS ! I have run this bike thru MOREANA Enterprises (a Designated Calif DMV Registration office) & according to the Calif. DMV Computer printout...this Wonderful bike is "free and Clear" & has no record of any back registration fees and or back taxes etc PLEASE NOTE: ...I will be including a copy of this DMV Compuyter Print out as well as a California Dept. of Motor Vehicles (Notarized) "Bill of Sale" from myself to you the new owner.. which from what I hear in states outside of California, should be what you need to register it if you live inside or outside of California. ... (IE) If you just want to Vintage Race or Vintage Show this bike at Vintage bike & car meets & Shows... the DMV "Bill of Sale" should be all you will need...I will also include the California Department of Motor Vehicles Current DMV Computer Records Print Out on this Wonderful Bike to the new future owner that shows & Proves that this beauty has no record of any back fees and because of this is currently 100% off the DMV computer records. Because this Beauty was in storage for the past Aprox. 2+ Decades (~20 years) (last license tags for this bike were purchased Many (~31) years ago (it look like 1983) & because of this... Again...the DMV Print out proves at this time there will be no back fees as the Calif DMV Computer Records have fallen off as this has been in storage for so many years ("WHICH AGAIN IS REALLY GOOD NEWS" ! as this means there will be no back fees, No Back taxes etc etc ) on this Wonderful bike & Again, this means therefore there should be NO back fees and NO back taxes etc etc. owed on this Wonderful ~1969-70 SUZUKI TS 250cc ENDURO". 1975 MAICO GS400– ALL ORIGINAL SURVIVOR! 134 ORIGINAL MILES, FRAME # 341016, ENGINE # K407112, TWO OWNERS FROM NEW, TITLE INCLUDED, RUNS AND RIDES 96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Maicowerk A.G. was a West German motorcycle manufacturer. Founded in 1926 by Ulrich Maistch as Maistch & Co, the company originally manufactured 98 and 123 cc Ilo two stroke engines. After Worls War II, they began producing their own unit construction two-stroke engines, selling complete motorcycles. Maico made a brief foray into the automobile business with their own line of microcars in the late 1950s. Maico have also made go kart engines. The road motorcycles were named after winds... 'Blizzard', 'Typhoon' etc., but the company was better known for its purpose-built Motocross and Enduro machines, and for its 'Maicoletta' motor scooter, both of which sold in higher numbers than the road motorcycles. Maico Racing Motorcycles: Maico motocross (MC) and enduro (GS) racing models proved very successful in both European and American competition throughout the 1970s. While lacking the financial capital and big money race-team backing like that of the Japanese factories of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki, Maico riders such as Adolf Weil, Ake Jonsson, and Willy Bauer proved to be a serious challenge to the Japanese factories and produced numerous top three finishes in the Motocross World Championships. The firm also experienced some success in Grand Prix road racing competitions with rider Borje Jansson winning three 125cc Grand Prix races between1972 and 1973. American publication Motocross Action called the 1981 Maico Mega 2 - 490cc the greatest open-class motocross bike of all time. The 1974.5 400cc and 440cc GP, 1978/79 250cc Magnum and 1981 490cc models along with any year 501cc motocross bike are also some of the most sought-after vintage MX and twin-shock motorcycles to this day. One of the visual modernizations of the Maico off-road motorcycles was the move from a "coffin" style tank in 1974 to a "teardrop" style tank in 1978/79 on bikes like the 250 Magnum. The bikes later moved to plastic tanks in 1980 with the Mega 490. One of the largest contributions to the world of motocross suspension technology came in the 1974 season when the Wheelsmith Motorcycles team in the USA and the Gunther Schier teams in Europe forward-mounted the rear shocks on the Maico factory-backed motorcycles, immediately increasing the travel and ability to trump the competition. This initiated a frantic effort on the part of factory teams and privateers alike; chopping up their frames in a desperate attempt to remain competitive. Maicowerk AG filed for bankruptcy in 1983, but continued to produce small numbers of motocross and enduro models (re-badged as M-Stars in the United States due to legal issues) up through 1986. Subsequent manufacturers have purchased the brand name and applied it to their own limited production motorcycles. Modern open-class dirt-bikes are still being produced under the Maico brandname. The ATK Intimidator dirt-bike (reportedly the most powerful production 2 stroke motorcycle available aside from Maico's own motorcycles) features a Maico motor. After the company went out of business in 1986, its assets were taken over by a Dutch company, but to this day retains a strong cult following. Many riders restore vintage Maicos for display or to take back to the track.
