Inexpensive touring bike, very nice bike for age. Runs and rides great, still use it as a daily driver. Will need a new front tire, rear tire was new this season. The cruise control stopped working recently. Still lights up but does not engage, have not looked into it but nothing serious I'm sure. Added progressive springs to the front forks this year as the air ride was leaking in the front only. Really improved the handling. Rear air suspension still works great and is fully adjustable from the dash. The previous owner had a slow speed tip over and damaged some of the plastic on the right side as shown in the pictures. The bike still goes pretty good even compared to more modern touring bikes. Not smoke no noises just a really nice running bike. I would not hesitate to strike out anywhere on it today. Miles will continue to go up as I am still riding it. $1500.00 OBRO. No low balls please. Don't need to sell it.

It has been well maintined. new rear tire, very good front tire, excellent brakes, excellent electrical, will pass a safety with flying colors. Selling due to little time to ride any more due to back injury and would like to trade for a smaller street bike between 250 and 650. If you really want a nice XVZ and want to have a less common colour, then this one is for you. 1198cc V-4 VENTURE 90hp Yamaha's entry into the full-dress luxury touring market was the first motorcycle to be conceived from the beginning for the touring crowd. Rather than just adding a fairing to an existing machine, Yamaha engineers designed a total package. They succeeded very well. The Venture was extremely smooth and quiet, and was very comfortable.
