Here I have my 1983 Yamaha XT 250 for sale! I bought it a year ago as the 3rd owner and runs like a champ!!! When I bought I replaced every bearing on the bike, brand new chain and sprockets, rebuilt the carb. Brand new tires and tubes were installed. There are only 4958 Original Miles! The seat is original with no tears and a Team Yamaha upgraded rear coilover shock. There are a few nicks in the paint on the gas tank, the head light brackets need to be repainted and there is a little surface rust on the exhaust header. Local Pickup or will meet within a reasonable distance, if buyer wants to ship, buy pays for shipping.

Beautifully restored 1982 Yamaha YZ 60, was only made in this style in 1982 and 1983, the holy grail of the mini motocross bikes, nearly impossible to find any more, let alone in this condition. Completely dissasembled and redone. Swing arm, lower fork tubes, and handlebars powder coated yellow, only one like it, and it looks awesome. Frame was sandblasted and painted, everything else sandblasted and powder coated. Both rims were sandblaseted and powdercoated gloss black. New front tire and tube, new rear tire and tube. New chain. Rear sprocket was not available, current one in great condition, and was cleaned and powder coated. New seat cover, new OEM style wicked tough graphics. New scott handgrips. Carburator was cleaned with new needle valve installed, new fuel petcock, new gas lines. New fork seals and fork oil. Runs and drives excellent and looks like new. Plastic all completely sanded down, cleaned and reheated for shine, in great original condition. Every nut and bolt was cleaned and coated, it looks like new. Selling a Yamaha Enduro 80 two stroke motorcycle that has a MFG date of 8/82 and was made for the model year 1983. It is very clean and in good running/riding condition. It fires right up, shifts smooth and stops like it should. The lights, horn and speedo/odometer are fully functional. This has an oil reservoir under the seat that auto mixes with the normal pump gas you put in the tank. It is a nice feature not having to concoct your own mixed fuel as the bike does it automatically. The front tire has about half tread remaining. The rear tire has a ton of life left in it. Original tool kit is still under the seat. This can be made street legal in most states. It is pre wired for turn signals and has the switch on the handlebars to operate them. I do not have the signals so they are not included with the sale of this bike. It could also use a mirror if you are planning on taking to the streets. It has never been registered for street use. There is no title. I will be happy to provide the buyer with a bill of sale. I am the third owner of this motorcycle. The first owner was a lady in the northern part of Colorado. The second owner is somewhat of a collector. He added an off road tire to the rear, cleaned it, tuned it and repacked the muffler. His intention was to teach his son to learn to ride with a clutch. Since this bike is so clean and original, he went with another bike for his son to learn on. He says that they only put about 30miles on it in the couple years they owned it. (Stay tuned, more of his collection may be for sale soon). I bought it to putt around the neighborhood on and sometimes I take it down to the mail box and back. Since this is 30+yrs old it is not perfect. The left front fork dust cover is cracked and could use to be replaced. The ends of both the front brake and clutch levers are broken off. There is still enough to grab onto and they are functional as is. The top of the rear brake pedal has snapped off. Once again, functional as is. The front and rear fenders show some scratches and worn off paint. There are a couple of small dings on the left side of the tank. Guessing this was laid down on that side sometime in the past. There are some small cracks on the back of the seat. The paint on the tank is worn off under the seat. Please take a good look at the pictures. If I missed anything, the pictures didn't catch, let me know. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will be happy to assist the buyer with shipping. I would recommend using USHIP for a quote. This bike is approx 5 feet long. The handlebars are approx 26 inches wide. It is approx 36 inches tall to the top of the handlebars. The weight is approx 320 pounds. It can be picked up from my house or place of business. I do not have a loading dock but I do have a ramp. We should be able to load this into just about any carriers vehicle. Heck, it even fits in the back of my 01 Cherokee standing straight up. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or text Justin @ 719-231-6727

As of the last couple of days for the first time in Decades ...This AMAZING Vintage Bike is "Now Running" I have driven her up & down my black about 10+ times in the last day or two !!!!! "HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THIS VINTAGE EXAMPLE of Classic Motorcycle History ..."EYE CANDY' ....IN YOUR GARAGE" ! * * * I will have a Video in the next day or two if you email me your direct email site I will email you the UTUBE Video link Please Do Not Bid on this item until you have read the auction in it's Entirety (IE) When You Bid you are entering a Legal Contract & not being responsible just ruins it for everyone involved in this auction...Thank You. * * Also, I am unsure of the exact year of this Wonderful bike but I can tell you with Great Certainty it is either a 1969 or a 1970 SUZUKI TS 250 ENDURO * * These early TS 250 SUZUKI's are very Rare & unfortunately all of the serial number guide web sites only cover the more common 1970-1971 & up year Suzuki's Vintage ~ 1969 -70 Suzuki 250 cc T.S. "SAVAGE" ENDURO bike (Very Similar to the Original 1968-71 YAMAHA 250 DT-1 ENDURO). These are Original TS 250 SUZUKI's are becoming Very Hard to find these days !!! ...as most people are just not selling them out of their Vintage Bike Collections & Nice Examples of these are very rarely coming up for sale. Very complete Vintage "TS 250" ENDURO, project with a nice Fresh cosmetic Restoration (IE) most all of the main components of the bike were removed down to nearly her bare frame (IE) front & rear Wheels, tires, engine, oil & gas tanks ,seat air box etc etc) most everything was cleaned repainted & re installed. I think this bike is still fairly Original (IE) She has her: original Metal Airbox,, Frame , Swing Arm, Forks, Exhaust Muffler with Heat Shield , Headlight, Tail Light and & original Seat base (with Brand New foam & New upholstery), Original Gas tank & even her Original Oil tank. Also, present are a Suzuki Tachometer & Speedometer (I do not have the drive cables, should be available on ebay etc) This beautiful Bikes Mileage may not be accurate for this bike as like the head & tail lights, the Speedo & Tach gauges were off the bike & in a box when I got them. .It has her Original Suzuki 250 Gas Tank & Oil Tank Gold & Chrome Gas Tank & Oil Tank Metal Bright work Badges, Factory SUZUKI Chrome Forks , & she even her Fork Dampener, original swing arm, +FAR superior updated "BOGE" Rear Shocks, and Brand New HUGE 460 X 18" "TRAIL WINNER" Dual sport Rear Tire. She appears to have her main Original wire loom that runs from the engine to up under the fuel tank, However, she was last purposed as a Off Road bike. When new did the Cosmetic restoration as detailed above & below ) I re-installed the lights etc that were given to me in a box from the prior owner. so at this time they are present & installed on the bike but are not electrically connected , the main wire loom looks to be their & she has her lighting stator (altinator) & the switching & wire in in the laft portion of the handlebar . She has TS 250 Tachometer and Speedometer Gadges are possible slightly newer TS 250 & she will need the cables to connect them if that is something you want to do.. . The kick starter works & also, engine turns over well + she has good Compression, however I have not tried to start her. (I am guessing she may have a lose connection or a faulty coil ?) Otherwise, it is my guess that she would start up.. Unfortunately, at this time we lost our storage and I am now in a position I need to make room here as soon as possible. Also, She has a updated ~New chain, updated Front Fender, new unbreakable rear fender. basically at this point ...She just needs some fairly Minor finishing touches. * * I was told these Early TS 250's can NADA value guide up to just under ~ $6,000.00 You can Steal this Beauty for a small fraction of that. So ..Please, No Low Ball offers This is a No Brainer Deal on a True Classic & Very RARE & Very Beautiful + Very Collectable Vintage Historic Motorcycle (Again, These are becoming Very hard to find these days !!! 2012 Supere Tenere Low Miles! Nicely Equipped!!! Yamaha’s Super Ténéré, XT1200cc adventure-tourer was designed to go head to head against the iconic BMW R1200GS. Tough shoes to fill, but Yamaha is well known for its’ amazing engineering. Yamaha’s big Adventure bike actually has its own off-road legacy. A single-cylinder Ténéré enduro first debuted back in 1983. Then in 1989 the Super Ténéré was introduced as the twin-cylinder XTZ750 and debuted as a European market only bike. This machine went on to win the grueling Paris/Dakar rally six times! And that is were the name came from; Ténéré (ten-eh-ray), is a region in the Sahara desert traversed in the Paris/Dakar rally. If the 750cc parallel-Twin XTZ was a Super Ténéré, this 1200cc model might well be called the Super Duper Ténéré, as it has a 450cc displacement advantage! This bike is a viable contender to BMW’s R1200GS. She is equipped with standard traction control and antilock brakes. Other rider aids lie in the braking system. In addition to standard antilock control, the Ténéré is equipped with Yamaha’s Unified Brake System that links the rear brake to the front lever, helping limit chassis pitching during hard braking that is typical of bikes with long-travel front suspension. Yamaha’s ABS isn’t bad in the dirt and much better than earlier antilock systems, but hardcore riders will wish for an off switch. There is a simple way to disable the ABS, just put the Tenere on its centerstand and run the bike in gear for a bit. This creates an error signal for the ABS system, so it shuts itself off. An ABS error code light illuminates on the instruments, and a rider is now free to lock up and slide the back tire with impunity! This bike is nicel equipped. She is a local bike that has been very well maintained. She has the hard aluminum paniers that are HUGE! The PIA lamps will brighten even the darkest back roads and the heated grips will help extend your riding season. The bike, while not perfect, is in excellent condition. She shows well, has just been fully serviced in our shop and is ready to go anywhere. Across town, the state or even the country. This bike will get you down the road in comfort. 1975 MAICO GS400– ALL ORIGINAL SURVIVOR! 134 ORIGINAL MILES, FRAME # 341016, ENGINE # K407112, TWO OWNERS FROM NEW, TITLE INCLUDED, RUNS AND RIDES 96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Maicowerk A.G. was a West German motorcycle manufacturer. Founded in 1926 by Ulrich Maistch as Maistch & Co, the company originally manufactured 98 and 123 cc Ilo two stroke engines. After Worls War II, they began producing their own unit construction two-stroke engines, selling complete motorcycles. Maico made a brief foray into the automobile business with their own line of microcars in the late 1950s. Maico have also made go kart engines. The road motorcycles were named after winds... 'Blizzard', 'Typhoon' etc., but the company was better known for its purpose-built Motocross and Enduro machines, and for its 'Maicoletta' motor scooter, both of which sold in higher numbers than the road motorcycles. Maico Racing Motorcycles: Maico motocross (MC) and enduro (GS) racing models proved very successful in both European and American competition throughout the 1970s. While lacking the financial capital and big money race-team backing like that of the Japanese factories of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki, Maico riders such as Adolf Weil, Ake Jonsson, and Willy Bauer proved to be a serious challenge to the Japanese factories and produced numerous top three finishes in the Motocross World Championships. The firm also experienced some success in Grand Prix road racing competitions with rider Borje Jansson winning three 125cc Grand Prix races between1972 and 1973. American publication Motocross Action called the 1981 Maico Mega 2 - 490cc the greatest open-class motocross bike of all time. The 1974.5 400cc and 440cc GP, 1978/79 250cc Magnum and 1981 490cc models along with any year 501cc motocross bike are also some of the most sought-after vintage MX and twin-shock motorcycles to this day. One of the visual modernizations of the Maico off-road motorcycles was the move from a "coffin" style tank in 1974 to a "teardrop" style tank in 1978/79 on bikes like the 250 Magnum. The bikes later moved to plastic tanks in 1980 with the Mega 490. One of the largest contributions to the world of motocross suspension technology came in the 1974 season when the Wheelsmith Motorcycles team in the USA and the Gunther Schier teams in Europe forward-mounted the rear shocks on the Maico factory-backed motorcycles, immediately increasing the travel and ability to trump the competition. This initiated a frantic effort on the part of factory teams and privateers alike; chopping up their frames in a desperate attempt to remain competitive. Maicowerk AG filed for bankruptcy in 1983, but continued to produce small numbers of motocross and enduro models (re-badged as M-Stars in the United States due to legal issues) up through 1986. Subsequent manufacturers have purchased the brand name and applied it to their own limited production motorcycles. Modern open-class dirt-bikes are still being produced under the Maico brandname. The ATK Intimidator dirt-bike (reportedly the most powerful production 2 stroke motorcycle available aside from Maico's own motorcycles) features a Maico motor. After the company went out of business in 1986, its assets were taken over by a Dutch company, but to this day retains a strong cult following. Many riders restore vintage Maicos for display or to take back to the track.
