Recent work: Sonically cleaned carbs and carb kits installed.....Clutch master cylinder kit, clutch basket gasket. Adj. Clutch...Adjusted valves and installed front and rear valve cover gaskets, and bolt grommets. cut and put push rod seals in.....Coated inside of gas tank (par 15)....Cleaned and greased speedo cable....Cleaned rear axle and brake....Replaced both front fork seals.....New front and rear tires...New battery...Powerful 1100 cc engine generating 121hp with peak torque of 89ft.lb.. This liquid cooled shaft driven bike was ahead of its time in 1984 with these features, included LCD instrument cluster with fuel gauge, trip meter, clock, and engine temp gauge. Everything works!! This bike has virtually no engine noise. It is tight and runs like new!!! Its ready for riding....Everything works as it should. All instrument gauges work, but cloudy covers....For those that aren't familiar with the v65 sabre; When new it and its brother the v65 Magna were promoted as the fastest production bikes in the world. Although they have long been surpassed, they still are quick and exciting. (thrid gear wheelies!!)...The Sabre was marketed as the first sport tourer. And does this job quite well. Very comfortable ergonomics for long riding. Overdrive 6th gear makes highway cruising very sedate and controlled, with no buzzing or annoying vibrations. It has an aftermarket sport wind screen, and Corbin seat. (original seat included.). Everything else is original....With only 15k miles, this bike has many many more to go!!! With the instrument gauge covers cloudy and scratched, the original owner must have kept it outside at one point. Or cleaned with harsh materials. I know that the second owner, and myself (the third owner) have always kept in garage. Owner responsible for pick up or shipping.

I know it needs the clutch leaver on the handle bars rebuilt it won't put enough pressure to release the clutch. Otherwise a service and it should run great. What you have here is a 1982 Yamaha Maxim 1100 the bike does run there are parts that will need to be replaced I do have brand new pod filters I did install brand new carburetor boots I did a fresh oil change after I just replace the oil pan gasket I do have a few other gaskets that you go along with it. Also I used to ride the bike to and from work until I had a carburetor problem which then I had to replace the float needles even though I did write it the bike I think does have a bent shift Fork very slightly it does not allow first gear to contact fully but you can still start in first and then jump to second I do have a full transmission replacement for it that I never got around to installing. I will say that the petcocks you have a small leak they do have brand new gaskets I think these screws might need to just be tightened I really haven't messed with it. I do have the title and it is clean I also do have a seat for it which is dirty but in mint condition no cracks no tears also I do have the front headlight if you have any questions feel free to let me know I did just replace most the fuel lines along with the gaskets. The bike will also come with a new complete front brake system along with brand new tire and forks . I am open to trades preferably pickups or older car that at least has a title and not a rolling shell

I'm selling my 1984 Honda VF1100S V6 Sabre. It currently has 22,400 miles with a 1100cc engine size. It runs great and is in clean condition (no rust). There are some signs of normal wear for its age including fading, scuffs, and scratches. The inspection is currently expired in PA. It comes with the current windshield. The bike is very powerful and fast. These models were used in racing and even held the record for fastest acceleration for a few years. It has a brand new battery and just had a fresh oil change service. It was always garaged kept. Clean Title & Keys. The Kelly Blue Book Value of it $2400 so I believe the current price is fair. Bike can only be picked up in Erie, PA and payment can be made through Paypal. I am the third owner of this bike and I recently bought it from a friend in town. Up for auction is a 1984 Honda V65 Magna VF1100C. I do not know too much about its history. The person I bough it from was selling it with a parts bike. I was only interested in the parts bike, but they were only being sold together. Other than draining the old gas and putting in new gas and changing the oil, I have not done anything with the bike. It does start up, idle, run, and drive. It most definitely needs the carburetors cleaned, as it runs rough. The brakes work, but the rear is a little sticky. There is some corrosion on the chrome and aluminum. There is a crack in the right side cover (see pics) that looks repairable and the gas tank is dented on the right side (see picture). The right side muffler leaks where it connects to the main baffle. The oil light is on in the one picture because only the ignition is on in the picture. The oil light is not illuminated when running. The bike would be a great restoration candidate or a plethora of parts. I have a clear NJ title for it. This could be made road worthy. Please ask any questions before bidding. You are welcome and encouraged to come view the bike in person before bidding. It is located in Newton, NJ 07860. Please realize that this bike is currently not what I would consider road worthy. It seems to be all there but I have not gone over it in detail nor am I an expert on them. Please bid accordingly.
