Those were the years with cookouts on weekends, kegs of beer left next to the grill with stacks of cups. We’re pretty sure we enjoyed those years as well but no one here remembers how many bikes we sold. The Barnett family has been in the motorcycle business since 1973, and all five of us are still in the store every day, including 81-year-old business founder Sherman Barnett and his wife Christy who still both race 800 hp dirt track cars twice a week. KAWASAKI VULCAN® 1600 CLASSIC MATCHES SLEEK LINES WITH SMOOTH POWER Featuring a low, “stretched” chassis that gives it a sleekness all its own, the Kawasaki Vulcan® 1600 Classic matches good looks with muscular V-twin power to offer big-bore cruisers a ride that won’t soon be forgotten. The temptation begins with a liquid-cooled 95ci V-twin engine tuned for low- and mid-range power. Each of the big cylinders features a single overhead cam actuating four valves, and hydraulic lash adjusters automatically maintain valve clearance for smooth engine performance, reduced valve clatter and low maintenance. Plus, automatic chain tensioners keep cam timing accurate and provide greater reliability. A digital fuel injection system with dual 36mm throttle bodies feeds the engine to deliver responsive power at all engine speeds and helps reduce exhaust emissions. The Vulcan 1600 Classic’s hydraulically actuated clutch provides smooth, progressive torque to the five-speed transmission and quiet shaft drive for great around-town acceleration and relaxed highway cruising. A gear-driven counter balancer and rubber engine mounts reduce handlebar and floorboard vibration for smoother acceleration. Dual alternators provide enough output to power electrical accessories. To match the 1600 Classic’s sleek lines, the chamberless dual mufflers are slash-cut for major style points and also feature catalyzers to meet emissions regulations. The chassis features a single backbone frame, which utilizes two 40mm x 40mm square cross-section tubes. This design permits the use of a larger fuel tank and a detachable right-side downtube allows the engine to be removed more easily. A large, 41mm telescopic fork provides rigidity for superb steering feel and excellent ride quality, while dual rear shocks with four-way adjustable damping deliver exceptional comfort for long days in the saddle. Cast seven-spoke wheels allow the use of large tubeless tires and wide fenders to give the 1600 Classic its tough look. The front wheel also features large diameter 300mm dual disc brakes and, combined with a single 300mm disc brake on the rear, delivers impressive stopping power. The design details that make the 1600 Classic a one-of-a-kind American classic include a wide, pullback handlebar, stepped seat, side covers that proudly display the Kawasaki logo and a multi-reflector headlight. Features of the integrated instrument cluster include an LCD screen, tank-mounted ignition switch, fuel-injection warning lamp, fuel gauge, odometer, tripmeter and clock. Rider floorboards look great and improve rider comfort.

1984 Kawasaki ZN1300 Voyager, Six Cylinder Engine!!! We have two of these rare touring bikes in stock!!! Kawasaki introduced the 120hp inline-six cylinder Z1300 in 1979, {This one is a 1984}. We actually have two of these bikes in stock, the pair of them came in on a trade from the same owner!! Kawasaki built all Z1300s in the US and produced them in several versions: Z1300, KZ1300, ZG1300 and ZN1300-Voyager. In 1980 they gave the Z1300 a fairing, trunk, and saddle bags and called it the KZ1300 Touring. This was the forerunner of the Voyager 1300. Now for the history on the Voyager--In 1983 Kawasaki gave the KZ1300-Touring a new frame and new plastic and introduced it as the Kawasaki Voyager 1300 (ZN1300.) It was fitted with so many accessories and luxuries (for the time) that some referred to it as "a car without doors." Kawasaki built about 4,500 Voyager 1300s. Both of the bikes that I have Start, run, ride, and stop. They are not perfect, but keep in mind these are bikes that you just don't see every day. This one has only 4,147 Miles on it!! The radio is not in working condition, it has it with it, I have taken a picture of it in the trunk, {it comes with it.}. Tit has been fully serviced, It goes down the road just as it should. Please look at the pictures, if you would like to see any more, please let us know!! Each bike goes through rigorous inspection, cleaning and examination before we feel comfortable considering it a part of our inventory and available for sale. Once we are through with our thorough inspections and cleanings and the bike has been approved for sale, we photograph it from all angles. The picture views assure to our clients that the bike is in good condition and there are no flaws to hide, which is important to both us and to our online buyers. Be sure to check out brennys dot com for this, and lots of other bikes, scooters, and ATVs!!

This is a 1984 Honda Gold Wing Interstate I purchased from my boss close to 15 years ago. I have ridden it every year at least once a month for 9-10 months of the year. I have affectionately named her "Ol' Blue". She is reliable, comfortable, and needs little maintenance. The perfect lady!!! My boss was the second owner of this bike. He thought it was too big and ended up with a Harley Electra Glide.....go figure! I have maintained this motorcycle like an only child. Synthetic oil and filter every season or 3,000 miles with 1/2 quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer. The rear has been serviced every 2 years and the coolant has also been changed every 2 years. At 36,000 miles, the clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder were flushed and re-filled. Last year she got a set of "All Balls" fork seals. This year she got 2 Pirelli Route 66 tires, a new AM/FM/USB/IPOD waterproof stereo. The factory speakers were replaced several years ago with a set of Pioneer Speakers. The bike has running lights and driving lights that work and the rear air shocks were replaced with new non-air shocks this spring. Rear brakes were replaced a few years ago and carbs were cleaned and adjusted in May. While Blue is not perfect, she is clean, shiny, and good looking. No major defects, just the usual surface rust in a few spots. There is a seam in the seat that is seperating but as of yet it does not absorb water during a bath or surprise shower. I have driven her to work this past spring, 50 miles round trip, and she performs flawlessly. She's never been laid down and she rests on a carpet in the garage when she is not ridden. I am 52 years old and recently retired and took a new job. My old job provided a take-home vehicle so Blue didn't see many commuting miles during those days. She has been on a few weekend trips, and mostly Sunday ice cream runs. I took a few day-trips with friends and Blue averaged between 1,000 & 3,000 miles per season while I have owned her, As stated, I am 52 and recently retired and as a treat, my wife has ok'd the purchase of a new motorcycle. I am looking at a used ST1300 and that is the reason I am parting with Ol' Blue. I fell in love with the ST 1300 10 years ago when I rode the Honda Police version. Since then, I've always wanted one of my own. Trust me, it wasn't an easy decision and has taken me about 2 years to finally pull the trigger. I've ridden Harley Davidsons, Kawasaki's, and several Hondas. This is the best, most dependable, comfortable of all the bikes I've owned or ridden. Buyer gets the factory cover, 2 new windshields, a spare radiator guard, factory waterproof saddlebag liners, a spare altimeter, factory air pressure gage, a Sirius Radio Connection, and Battery maintainer. Ol' Blue needs nothing except a loving home. If interested, I will provide the name and phone number of the shop where repairs and maintenance has been done. You can call and ask the mechanic about this bike. She is one of the cleanest '84 Gold Wings you will see anywhere! She will always hold a special place in my heart, kind of like the Lone Ranger and Silver!
