Hi,This is my Kawasaki GPZ 750 Turbo motorcycle.A brief history on the bike.I bought the bike from a friend at work 4 years ago.He ran the bike fairly continuously until the fuel pump went bad. He had it since 1995.I bought the bike from him in that condition. He used to ride the bike to work on a fairly consistent basis during the summer as I recall. The bike has around 10,700 miles or so.It sat in my garage and I did not get a fuel pump to get it going. Over all the bike is presentable as is but there is some red primer overspray (very slight) when the bike was in the same garage when using a spray can of primer nearby in the garage. Some elbow grease will get it off as I've confirmed.Hopefully the pictures will explain the bikes condition. Here are the key points that I can observe.1. There is a small rip in the forward part of the seat.2. The lower fairing section I do not have.3. The metzler tires appear OK.4. The bike rolls fine which tells me that the brakes are not stuck (and the brakes appear to work Ok)5. Left front fork seal is weeping and damp.6. Rest of the bike is all there and appears to be original.7. Sprocket and chain seem OK.8. I would probably cream the gas tank (should for any older bike).9. The bike needs battery.10. The bike is not pristine and will need some work. At a minimum the fuel pump, lot of elbow grease, detailing, etc. and frankly there may may be some other issues. The bike is being sold as is where is. All I know was the condition when I purchased the bike.11. It is a Massachusetts Title and on that note, my friend just signed the title so it is left open for the buyer's name and date. I usually buy a bike and keep the title that way, especially if I don't plan to register for a period of time and or decide to sell later.Probably many of you that love and routinely buy motorcycles probably do the same thing. So I will expect that you understand this about the title. The only time I ever received a negative feedback was once when I sold a bike on ebay with an open title this way, the buyer was a jerk and gave me negative feedback because the title was just signed and left open on the title. This guy was a TOTAL jerk and even implied he was getting his lawyer involved, etc. even when I said at the very beginning no big deal, you don't have to buy the bike and gave him back his deposit. He still threatened with all this nonsense and then of course gave me negative feedback. So if for what ever reason you are not cool with the title as described PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!!!Like I said, for you guys that routinely buy motorcycles this is pretty routine. A few other conditions, I want the buyer to see the bike and go over to your satisfaction. If you don't want it after viewing, no problem, you don't need to purchase if you see something you do not like and I will cheerfully refund your deposit.I just ask that you are reasonable about why you don't want to purchase. So this means that I will obviously NOT ship the bike to a buyer sight unseen. You (or your designee) have to physically see the bike. I would rather that you actually like the bike and are pleased with the transaction. More important to me than just selling to anyone who is just speculating on the bike.I also reserve to end the auction early as I have it listed locally. The bike is in Springfield, MA. You can call me if you wish. 1-413-374-0814.Deposit of $500.00 by Paypal within 24 hours and balance in cash upon pickup. So those are the ground rules and I think they are reasonable. Not sure what else I can say about the bike, but Please let me know what else I can explain about the bike before you buy it now.Thank You and thanks for looking.
