1985 Kawasaki Ltd , 1985 Kawasaki 454 ltd 20,800 $1200 obo Last running 2 days ago 6/22/15 Starter went and now bike can only be push started. When starter is hit, you only hear a single click from the relay. This issue is common and you can read more about it on ex-500.com. Basically the starter needs to be replaced. Can either buy a rebuild kit for about $30 or entirely new one for a little over $100 on eBay. Bought this bike about 1 1/2 months ago to fix it up over the summer, however I got sideswiped on my other bike and used this as my daily driver. Now that starter is shot, I am buying something newer for some cross country trips I have planned. In the past month I have: -replaced battery -changed oil and filter -flushed with CLR and changed coolant -adjusted the valves to spec -removed PAIR system (emissions device) and installed a lamp one designs kit to cover it (can read about it on 454proboards forum) -removed manual cct and installed much more reliable automatic cct (a must have as seen on ex-500 forum less chance to fail) -rebuilt fuel petcock -cleaned and synced carburetors, as well as remove EPA plug to tune pilot jets -replaced both throttle cables (push/pull) as well as tachometer cable -replaced both spark plugs with NGK -installed new led lights, as well as an electronic flasher relay to avoid rapid flashing All plastics and fairing pieces are there. I am also including my carb synchronizer as my new bike is a single cylinder. I have 2 sets of keys, and a clean NJ motorcycle title in my name. I still have a bunch of old parts, but I doubt you want them as most were consumable items. Text is much preferred at 9083924186 I work nights and may not answer until morning. Less than 200 Original Miles. Purchased new and stored since I have been in the military. During the last move, the movers put a few scratches on the fairing during transport. I took the bike to the Honda Dealership who confirmed the bike was not dropped and there is no damage to the forks. Battery has been replaced. Motorcycle has been started regularly over the years to ensure movement of the fuel in the system. Aftermarket mirrors have been installed for better rear sight, while driving. I will also throw in two ramps,helmet, brand new gloves, and tie down kit for a trailer or pickup. You are essentially buying a new bike. All it needs is an oil change to be ready to go.

Bike has sat for seven years and will need ,battery, fuel system cleaned, detailing. I have never ridden this bike but believe it should be a decent bike after tuneup and detailing. local pick up only.
