Hello, This auction is for a 1985 Kawasaki GPZ550. I just bought it and rode it once but it is just way too fast for me. The Kerker Exhaust sounds superb. ***Right side cover is missing and was broken off (Please see pictures) Headlight mount is bent and the front blinkers are damaged. The steering is not smooth. I can't tell if it is catching on one of the cables or if there is a possible problem in the headset. Tank clear coat is chipped off on one side (See pictures) and about a half dollar size dent in the top of the tank. Tires are good. The person I bought this bike from had laid it down and had not ridden it since. I got it running and rode it once, but it is just wayyy too fast for me. This model has a higher compression. I am happy to hear any offers you like to send, and I will accept the one that I like. Please feel free to ask any questions, and I will do my best to answer. BUYER is responsible for picking this bike up. I do not have a tuck or trailer to deliver. "center">

Unfortunately due to health/financial reasons I'm selling my 1985 GPz 550 race bike. I built the bike 2 years ago to run in WERA vintage 4 class. Over the two years I race the bike only 3 weekends and did a few track days. The bike was an AMA vintage national champion last year and would sweep up in its class in vintage 4 and against vintage 5 1000cc competition it tied for second in 2013.The engine --610cc Wiseco kit-RD valve springs-APE cylinder head studs-APE cam tensioner-geared for 124 mphThe chassis--SV 650 front fork with racetech springs and goldvalve emulators-SV 650 front calipers/mastercylinder and EPFA pads (works great!)-SV 650 front and rear wheel with custom machined sprocket and cush drive-SV 650 triple clamps-Unitrak aluminum swingarm with dual shocks (Works Performance - valved and spring rate customized)-525 chain conversion-Custom rearsets with GP shift-Steel braided front brake lines-Steering damper-Bridgestone BT 003 front and rear tires with plenty of tread left-Frame has clear Ohio title in my name I'd really prefer not to part out the racebike as its ready to win some more races and I put a lot of hard work into it. So hopefully I can find a buyer!Best,Jeff

Hello, NO HASSLE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE! This auction is for a 1985 Kawasaki GPZ550. Hello, This is the Vintage 1985 Kawasaki GPZ550 The King of Cafe Racers. They claim it is faster than the 750. It has higher compression (10:1) and is very light weight. Too fast for me (135lbs) It runs excellent. Starts right up and sounds superb with the Kerker Exhaust. 25000 miles. ***The bike fell and broke the right side points cover (About $30-75 here on Ebay) also the right handlebar and headlight housing are bent. A neat thing about the classic bikes over 20 years old is that they can be registered for classic plates and do not need inspection. I just registered it last month, before I rode it and realized how fast it is. Happy to consider any offers. :) BUYER is responsible for picking this bike up. I do not have a tuck or trailer to deliver.
